Prime Minister Imran Khan has finally spoken about the Minar-e-Pakistan incident.

What did he say? He said that he was “ashamed and pained” by what happened, citing the lack of proper upbringing as a vital reason for the destruction we are seeing in society. 

Where was he speaking? He was addressing the Punjab Education Convention 2021 in Lahore.

 What else did he say? He also said, “In the past, the respect the women were getting in our country was nowhere to be seen in the world. In the West, women did not get that respect which they used to get here.” 
 

 Imran Khan briefed the nation on PTI’s three years’ performance

At Jinnah Convention Centre in Islamabad, PM Imran Khan briefed the nation about the performance of his government in the last three years.

 Key points of Khan’s speech He talked about the financial struggle face by his govt saying, “We had no capital to settle loans. We had no foreign exchange. The current account deficit we faced was of $20 billion. If Saudi Arabia, China and UAE had not helped us at the time, rupee would have declined further and caused us some real damage.”

In his speech, he also mentioned his government’s schemes such as Kamyab Pakistan and Ehsaas Program.

“We are also working on inheritance laws to ensure women get their due share in property,” he added.
