    Caretaker Information Minister Murtaza Solangi has shared condolences and sympathy with Khalid Butt’s family. In a statement, Solangi said that the late actor showcased his talent in various TV dramas, films, and theatre, adding that Khalid Butt’s death leaves a significant gap in the entertainment industry.

    Musician AR Rahman shares painful journey battling suicidal thoughts

    Renowned Indian musician and singer AR Rahman has shared a startling personal revelation, revealing that he contemplated suicide multiple times during his youth.

    Speaking at the Oxford Union Debating Society, Rahman revealed that when had thoughts of suicide in his youth, his mother told him to live his life for others. If he could switch his mindset and do that, that would dispel negative thoughts.

    Rahman expressed gratitude for his mother’s advice, and said it the ‘most beautiful counsel’.
    Rahman also stressed the importance of living for others, saying it was essential.

    “I took my mother’s advice seriously, whether it’s composing music for someone, writing, or buying food for those in need,” Rahman said, “acts like these, even just smiling at someone, are what give us reasons to live.”

    Rahman does not talk much about spirituality and religion, and addressing that perception, he said, “Bad times come in the life of every human being but we have to live. Go, this world is mortal and we don’t know when where we will be and everyone understands spirituality according to their beliefs and ideology.”

With a following of nearly 800,000 on TikTok, Sabrina has teamed up with Geutanyoe Malaysia, an advocacy group, to provide aid to Palestinian refugees in Malaysia. These refugees have come from Gaza and the West Bank

    Sabrina’s initiative focuses on education and she has established a fund dedicated to sponsoring the schooling of 14 Palestinian children at the Marifah International School in Seri Kembangan, Malaysia. Sabrina’s kind act is all about making sure these children can go to a good school and have the opportunity for a better future.

    Ustad Rashid Khan passes away at 55, fans pour in heartfelt messages

    Hindustani classical singer and music maestro Ustad Rashid Khan died in Kolkata on January 9 at the age of 55. He is survived by his wife Soma Khan, two sons, and a daughter.

    The renowned singer had been battling cancer and was admitted to a private hospital in Kolkata in November 2023.

    He was part of the Rampur-Sahaswan musical tradition and was the great-grandson of its founder, Inayat Hussain Khan.

    He was honored with the Padma Shri in 2006 and the Padma Bhushan in 2022 for his contributions to the field of Art.

    After his demise, social media was filled with heart felt messages by his fans.

    Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to X (formerly Twitter) and said, “Pained by the demise of Ustad Rashid Khan Ji, a legendary figure in the world of Indian classical music.”

    West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee posted on X that, “A hugely respected vocalist with unparalleled genius in creating music, he made us proud by settling here and making Bengal his home.”

    Actor Agha Ali has revealed that many times actresses were not allowed to work with him by their fiancés. The actor shared this information during a recent appearance on Geo News’ show ‘Hansna Mana Hai,’ where host Tabish Hashmi asked him various questions about his life and career.

    In response to a question, Agha Ali said, “It was in 2016- 2017 during which time I would sign any drama, after that I would get a call from the producer saying, ‘Agha, do you have any quarrel with such and such heroine?’ On this, I would tell them that I have not even met this heroine yet, on which the producer would ask that ‘You don’t have any quarrel with her fiance?’ I tell them that I don’t know who their fiancés are.”

    He further said that during this time he was also going to work with Humayun Saeed’s production house. “He also called me and asked me what are you doing that the fiances and husbands of the actresses are afraid of you?”
    Agha Ali said, “There is no specific reason for my image, but I think many times people misunderstand the actor because of the characters in his dramas. It plays such a negative role.”

    He further said that when he came into the industry, he was not very familiar to people. “So maybe that’s why they were afraid of me, but now it’s not like that, everything is fine.”

    Responding to another question, Agha shared that he was banned from working in Lahore years ago due to giving strong answers in an interview, which led to a producer dropping him from a signed project. Following the ban, a friend’s request prompted him to move to Karachi.
