Controversial actor Feroze Khan made headlines last year when allegations by his ex-wife Aliza Sultan surfaced, detailing the abuse and torture she allegedly suffered during their four year marriage.
Now in a recent Q &A session with her followers on Instagram, Aliza has opened up about whether Feroze Khan plays a role in providing financial support for the upbringing of his children.
He does, Aliza said. “No that’s not true. He has taken on their financial responsibility.”
Another user asked Aliza about whether she thought the height of a man mattered in a marriage, to which her response was: “Height of his patience and personality bas.”
Aliza Sultan had previously shut down rumors claimed by Feroze that he wasn’t allowed to visit the children when a user chided her for not letting the father visit them during Eid.
“No one has stopped anyone from visiting. You should relax and enjoy your Eid,” she wrote in response.
Netflix just released a documentary on the life of the British footballer David Beckham. The documentary details the biggest moments of his career and the controversies that happened. The film also provides an insight into his relatonship to former Spice Girls singer and fashion designer Victoria Beckham, whom he married in 1999 and shares four children with.
A clip from the documentary is going viral on social media where David hilariously challenges Victoria’s claim she came from a working class family. The ‘Wannabe’ singer can be seen talking about how she came from a working class family, when David cheekily interrupts and says, “Be honest”. When Victoria tries justifying her stance, he hilariously reminds the fashion designer that she went to school in a Rolls Royce car.

Celebrity couple Hira Khan and Arsalan Khan were guests on a recent episode of Express Entertainment’s ‘The Talk Talk Show’ with Hassan Choudary. During the conversation, Hira Khan opened up about the couple’s decision to get married early, even though the two had just began their careers, and didn’t wait to settle down before tying the knot.
“If you’re planning to do something as blissful as Nikkah, then there is no way it will prevent rizq from coming in your way. It’s not true that you will face hurdles in your work life,” Hira said.
“A lot of people told us ‘brands won’t pick you.’ ‘Your image would change because you would be a married couple, you would be out of that millennial category’”, recalled the ‘Guru’ actress. “But that never bothered us. We were doing this with the intention that we don’t want a haram relationship, even engagement for a long time. We just want to be religiously right, nothing bad will happen if your intentions are pure.”
Actor Arsalan Khan said it’s better that couples settle down early rather than later in life “If you’re going to get married later in life, then isn’t it better that you do it now? If you’re thinking no, I’ll do it later in life, that means your intentions are not right. Because you’re thinking if you find someone new you’ll ditch the woman and marry them.”
“I only wanted to create a stable life,” the ‘College Gate’ actor said. “I wanted to focus on my career, and I need to have someone back home whom I could talk with without worrying about whether this relationship is good, is it breaking?”
“We think we married quite late,” joked Hira. “We should have married even earlier.”

“My mother had one wish… to start the wedding with a dua. My beautiful Ama, who is in a wheel chair – one would think she can’t do much – but really, she can do everything and anything. She sat and managed the decoration downstairs, the table, the moving around of furniture anddd she was ready dot on time..
Alhumdulillah for our parents.”
Mahira also shared that she chose to honor her nani and dadi by wearing a bud of motia in her baali
She also expressed her gratitude for her childhood friends, who organised a mayoun for her, calling them “my sisters”.

“…to this beautiful couple who are in every way the best partners I have seen in the longest time. To the man I vouched for 8 years ago, to the woman I call my sister. Because… ‘I wanted the best for My best..’
Somewhere in those years I had manifested this union ..to witness the magic of their love and especially their union can’t be described in words. I leave you to feel…
to this incredible woman I called my sister and this beautiful man I love I now can proudly call my brother.
May you look back 30-40 years down the line, old and wrinkly but young in love. May all the moments you weave in the coming years make your hearts smile and soul dance. Ameen.”

Wands rose across the world as Harry Potter fans mourned the loss of British thespian Michael Gambon, that’s Professor Albus Dumbledore for muggles, in the Harry Potter films. Several fans shared some of their favorite dialogues from the books and movies, and several Harry Potter actors, including the main lead Daniel Radcliffe himself- spoke about their experiences of working with the late actor.
Speaking during an interview with Variety’s Business of Broadway Breakfast on Sunday, he spoke about Gambon’s approach to acting:
“The wonderful thing about Michael is that he wasn’t an actor you talked about acting with,” said the ‘Kill Your Darlings’ actor. “His true passion was restoring 19th-century Italian duelling pistols.”
“He knows he’s at his best when he’s at his most playful. His ability to switch on was second to none.”
Daniel spoke about how he learned the craft of acting from “watching the way Richard approaches theatre” which he described as “a process of constant and relentless refinement. You’re never done. Your last show should be your best.”
Writer of the Harry Potter books, J.K Rowling, also released a statement sending condolences on Gambon’s passing, recalling how grew to admire the veteran actor during his 1982 performance of ‘King Lear’:
“I’ve just heard the awful news about Michael Gambon. The first time I ever laid eyes on him was in King Lear, in 1982, and if you’d told me then that brilliant actor would appear in anything I’d written, I’d have thought you were insane. Michael was a wonderful man in additional to being an outstanding actor, and I absolutely loved working with him, not only on Potter but also The Casual Vacancy. My deepest condolences go to Michael’s family and everyone who loved him.”
Other stars like Rupert Grint, who played Ron Weasley, shared a picture of Albus Dumbledore on his Instagram page and in the caption he wrote: “So sad to hear about Michael. He brought so much warmth and mischief to every day on set. He captivated me as a kid and became a personal role model of mine for finding the fun and eccentricities in life. Sending all my love to his family.”
Feminist activist and actor Emma Watson who played Hermoine in the movies shared a picture of the actor on her Instagram stories and wrote in the caption: “You never took it too seriously but somehow delivered the most serious moments with all the gravitas. Thankyou for showing what it’s like to wear greatness lightly. We will miss you.”
South Korean actor Gong Yoo cemented himself as an international star after his critically acclaimed drama ‘Guardian: The Great and Lonely God’ aired on Netflix in 2016. The quest for an immortal man or ‘Goblin’, to find his bride who might undo his curse was an instant hit.
At a recent appearance at the South Korean talk show Pinggyego, Gong Yoo revealed that the success of ‘Goblin’ began taking a toll on his mental health.
“Guardian: The Lonely and the Great God did very well, but I wasn’t happy. I was happy it did well, but apart from that, there was a time when I felt so empty and I couldn’t wake myself up. It’s not that the work was hard or that it went well, I wasn’t able to enjoy spotlight when projects were a success,” the actor confessed.
The ‘Coffee Prince’ actor further elaborated that it wasn’t easy to open up about the mental health issues he was dealing with, because it would have made other people seem like he wasn’t grateful for the success the show achieved.
“It feels like I’m not grateful. After going through a hard time like that, the way I look at people around me changed. I felt like I was more nosy in that I didn’t want them to go through the same hurt.”
‘Guardian: The Great and Lonely God’ centers around the Goryeo Dynasty military general Kim-Shin (played by Gong Yoo) who is cursed with immortality after he’s killed by the King. He must live on for generations until he finds the Goblin’s bride: a woman who has the power to pull out the sword in his chest to end his immortality. The drama also stars prominent Korean actress Kim Go-eun and Lee Dong-Wook. On it’s release, ‘Goblin’ was declared a cultural phenomenon in Korea and won numerous awards, including Best Actor for Gong Yoo, and Best Writer for script writer Kim Eun-Sook.
