  • Adnan Shah Tipu missed a chance to share the screen with THIS Bollywood superstar

Adnan Shah Tipu missed a chance to share the screen with THIS Bollywood superstar

Every actor hopes for a big break, but sometimes chances are lost, leaving behind feelings of regret.

Adnan Shah Tipu recently opened up about a major career regret during his appearance on the Faysal Quarishi podcast.

The host asked him ‘Tipu you mentioned that you realized that it wasn’t in your destiny to be in ‘Dedh Ishqiya’ with Madhuri Dixit.’”

Adan replied, “I had given around nine or ten auditions for the character of Nawab, which was played by Vijay Raaz, who is an amazing actor. I even received a call from Vishal Bhai, telling me to prepare. Then, Vishal Bhai himself went to Delhi for the audition, and they said, ‘We can’t do it.’ It’s all about fate, when it’s meant to happen, it happens. “

Instead of Vijaz Raaz, Adan Shah Tipu would have been playing the character of Nawab opposite the legendary Madhrui Dixit.

He also reflected on his relationships within the industry, saying, “I have a good relationship with Imran Abbas, and he is our colleague, but we don’t meet often, we rarely discuss work. One time, someone was saying that they needed a certain type of role, and he mentioned that only one person in all of Pakistan could play that role: ‘Tipu.’ Everything just fell into place, and if it wasn’t meant to be, it wouldn’t happen.

Tipu also opened up about his experience meeting with American actor Robert De Niro.

“I’m heading there, and I see Robert De Niro. You know how big of a fan I am of De Niro. I was wearing a tuxedo, and there he was, standing right in front of me, coming down. When he saw me, our eyes locked, I waved, and he waved back. I was watching him, and even as I climbed up, I was still looking at him. Our eyes were locked in that moment, and it felt like I knew him, like he was my friend or my mentor. That moment at the Cannes Film Festival was an experience I can’t even explain,” the Parizaad actor added.

Dedh Ishqiya, written by Vishal Bhardwaj, was released in 2014.

  • ‘Book a session’: Mohib Mirza’s advice on mental health

‘Book a session’: Mohib Mirza’s advice on mental health

In today’s busy world, mental health is more important than ever, yet it is an issue that is often overlooked. Stress, anxiety, and emotional struggles affect everyone, but getting help from a professional can really make a big difference in handling these problems.

Recently, actor Mohib Mirza appeared as a guest on Fuchsia Magazine, where he talked about the importance of young men addressing their stress and seeking help when needed.

“I’m talking about all this for the boys who might be listening,” he specified.

“I don’t know if they’re watching this episode now or will watch it in the future, but if you’re listening, boys, don’t ever think that seeking help will make you uncool or anything like that.

“If you’re stressed, whether it’s because of studies, family issues, or a relationship, book a session. I understand you might think it’s expensive or whatever, but this is something you need to do,” he said.

“Sorting things out on your own can be tough, especially when you’ve taken my help several times already. You know, I keep guiding you, but a psychiatrist or psychologist actually gives you a break, which is part of their job. So, never impose this on anyone else; there needs to be acceptance of it”, Mirza added.

The host, Rabia Mughni, asked, “Why did you go to therapy? What made you think of going?”

The Shehr-e Zaat actor replied, “People may or may not understand, but the pressure of work, that’s something people with jobs will relate to.”

“Now, I’m the director, an actor in it, and I have a brilliant team of 10 people around me. That’s a huge responsibility. Plus, I’m an overthinker. I overanalyse everything,” he added.

Currently, Mohib Mirza is starring in the drama serial Jafaa, directed by Danish Nawaz and written by Samira Fazal. It airs on HUM TV on Friday at 8:00 PM

  • ‘5 crores or death’: Lawrence Bishnoi gang warns Salman Khan

‘5 crores or death’: Lawrence Bishnoi gang warns Salman Khan

Notorious Indian gangster Lawrence Bishnoi has demanded a huge sum of money from Bollywood star Salman Khan to end a long-standing feud.

According to an NDTV report, the Bishnoi gang has demanded five crore rupees from Salman Khan to end the feud.

According to Indian media reports, the Mumbai Traffic Police received a WhatsApp message allegedly from a member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang threatening to kill the actor. The message says, “If Salman Khan wants to stay alive and end the long-standing rivalry, then pay Rs 5 crore, don’t take this threat lightly, otherwise the actor will end up worse than former Maharashtra Chief Minister Baba Siddiqui who was recently shot dead by the Bishnoi gang.”

The Mumbai police have launched an investigation into the matter, and security around Salman Khan’s residence has been beefed up.

This is not the first time Salman Khan has received death threats from the Bishnoi gang.

In 2022, the actor found a threatening letter on a bench near his residence, and in March 2023, he allegedly received an email from gang members.

In January 2024, two unidentified men attempted to enter Salman Khan’s Panvel farmhouse using fake identities, after which the actor’s security was further tightened.

According to Indian media, the feud dates back to 1998 during the filming of the blockbuster Bollywood movie ‘Hum Saath Saath Hain’ in a village in Rajasthan, when two rare blackbucks were hunted. Since then, Salman Khan has been facing constant threats from members of the Bishnoi community.

In 2018, a Jodhpur court sentenced Salman Khan to five years in jail in the Blackbuck case, but he was later granted bail. However, since that time, the Bishnoi community has harbored enmity toward the Dabangg star.

Indian media reports that blackbucks hold significant importance to the Bishnoi community. The Bishnoi people inhabit the Thar desert region of Rajasthan and revere trees, plants, and animals. They are primarily vegetarians and are known to sacrifice their lives to protect animals. In Bishnoi villages in Rajasthan, the blackbuck is considered sacred.

According to the Indian Wildlife Act, blackbuck hunting is illegal and carries a maximum penalty of six years in prison.

In the wake of the extra security measures he has been taking while filming episodes of Weekend Ka Vaar for Bigg Boss 18, superstar Salman Khan has imported a second bulletproof vehicle from Dubai to ensure his safety.

Salman has purchased a bulletproof Nissan Patrol SUV at ₹2 crore and brought it from Dubai to Mumbai, as reported by Bollywood Society. This SUV has been associated with high safety features and protection like bomb alerts, thick glasses resisting bullets, and dark tinted windows to hide the driver and passengers.

The Nissan Patrol SUV is not yet introduced in Indian markets, and hence this is Salman’s second bulletproof car imported from Dubai.

Who is Lawrance Bishnoi? How did he become so popular across Canada and India?

Lawrence Bishnoi hails from the Sirsa district of Haryana. He was a law student at DAV College in Chandigarh. Through student politics, he began to build a criminal network.

Bishnoi hailed from a family owning more than 100 acres of farm land in Duttaranwali village, Punjab. While the president of the student body in his college, he clashed with a rival group of students. It is said that during the same period, he was arrested for arson and attempted murder. As a result, he spent some time behind bars in Chandigarh jail.

A senior police officer once said, “Among his young followers, Bishnoi is highly revered as a man of principle. He portrays himself as a righteous bachelor, a celibate, often signing off with remarks like ‘Jai Shree Ram’.”

Bishnoi has been in and out of jail for over a decade, but the gang has spread out with connections to New Delhi and other neighboring states, and has been in turf wars with other gangs within Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Punjab, and associates in Canada and the United States.

He garnered national fame after the murder of a famous Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala. It was reported that the killing was in retaliation against the murder of one of his gang members. Moosewala was infamous for his provocative, anti-India lyrics and was also a Khalistan movement supporter.

This has led to a big question: Did Lawrence Bishnoi get support from the Indian government? Is it true that Lawrence Bishnoi’s network was being utilised by the Indian Intelligence Agency RAW to catch anti-national elements in Canada?

There have also been occasions when Indian secret services used mafia elements to eliminate threats such as Dawood Ibrahim. For example, in 2005, India’s top intelligence officer, Ajit Doval, was reported to have set up an assassination attempt by Chota Rajan, a former aide of Dawood Ibrahim, on the latter. Even though the Mumbai police nabbed Rajan’s men, foiling the operation, it demonstrated sometimes how secret agencies join hands with figures from the dark.

It is not yet clear whether the Indian government was backing Lawrence Bishnoi. According to reports, RAW took advantage of his network and eliminated anti-India elements in Canada, an accusation that has been hurled back by Canada at India, but nothing concrete has surfaced so far. Today, Bishnoi sits in Sabarmati jail of Ahmedabad, but he is believed to be continuing his operations through a network of around 700 shooters worldwide. The supporter base is so strong that there are even rumors that Indian Home Minister Amit Shah is backing him, but nobody knows.

Bishnoi has said, “Hum desh ko tukde nahi bana denge” (We won’t let the country be divided). His followers termed him as a modern day Bhagat Singh and carry around the t-shirt along with his picture. Khalistani supporters, especially in Canada, UK and USA have turned into a nightmare for Bishnoi and his gang.

In a recent interview on ARY Digital, Butt shared candid thoughts and one odd desire she has.

When asked about whose bag she would like to inspect, Naeema Butt said, “It’s a messy one, I like everything messy, I’m very messy. I want to check (Punjab Chief Minister) Maryam Nawaz’s bag.”

She was then asked, “What are the three essential things in your bag that you can’t live without?”

The Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum actress replied, “I can’t live without water. Mostly I also have water in my purse, and that’s one thing I think is very crucial. I can’t go without water, number one. There is money, so of course that, and my ID cards. I think these are the three things. That’s it. Well, a lot of extra tissue papers.”

A few days ago ARY Digital asked Naeema about the most-searched Google questions about her on-screen character Rubab and gave answers to satisfy fans’ curiosities.

“How to get hair like Rubab,” one question asked.

“First of all, it’s important to acknowledge that I am a creation of Allah, as we all are. Secondly, it’s about your genes and who your parents are, so choose good parents if you can. Thirdly, maintaining a good diet is essential. Whenever I try to lose weight and don’t eat enough carbs, my hair thin out. It’s important to have a balanced diet that includes proteins, carbs, and fiber. Vitamins play a significant role. I take biotin and collagen, which help with hair health. Don’t forget to drink plenty of water, manage your stress levels, and get enough sunlight for that vitamin D,” Butt added.

As for Rubab’s accent, Naeema said, “Well, it can be any accent you like British, American, Pakistani, or even a blend. It’s all about Rubab’s style.”

When asked about how to get a job in Rubab’s company, Butt jokingly said, “For that, you’d have to kill Adeel because I’m not going to offer jobs just like that. It’s just about love.”

  • Sarwat Gilani has marriage advice for youth

Sarwat Gilani has marriage advice for youth

Marriage can be a big decision, and actress Sarwat Gilani has a piece of practical advice for young people who are trying to figure life out.

Recently, she appeared on the Rukhsat podcast and shared her thoughts on when to get married and what to consider.

Sarwat said, “When it comes to your relationship, you’ve seen growing up, that familiarity will make her realize that she will agree to that marriage or that man if she has seen her mother be there for her father. I would say, please get married in your 30s, not in your 20s in your 20s, you are still very confused, especially in your late 20s because society changes. You need to understand that a lot of things are changing. First, see what values click with you.”

The host Aghlab Shair asked, “How important is it for us to choose our own partner rather than arranged marriages, or do you think arranged marriages are fine?”

“Look, I think it’s a bit of both, to be honest, I mean, I am in a marriage, but I believe in this day and age, marriage is a very failed institution. Because there is so much out there, there is so much variety, there is so much opportunity, and there is easy access.

“So, it all boils down to understanding yourself. It’s a bit of an iffy situation in both. The only difference is in an arranged marriage, the chances are that because you don’t know the person, there is zero expectation, so you build on those expectations living together; you build on those boundaries living together”, Gilani added.

Fahad Mirza and Sarwat Gilani tied the knot on 14 August 2014.

Saba Qamar urges everyone to support women, children in Sindh

Actress Saba Qamar was recently appointed UNICEF’s first national ambassador for child rights in Pakistan on October 11 2024.

On her Instagram Qamar shared a message with her followers with a video of her visit to Sujawal, and wrote: “As a national ambassador, I recently spent time with children and women in Sindh, listening to their stories, sharing smiles and seeing both their strength and struggles. It was an eye-opening experience. While there is so much beauty in their spirit, they still need so much more, basic necessities and support that many of us take for granted. I’m reaching out to you because together, we can make a difference. I need your help, your ideas and your voice to bring hope to these communities. Let’s work together to create real change for them.”

While speaking to Independent Urdu, Saba said, “I have been in Karachi for three days now, and I visited a place where I met young girls, children, and women. I was happy to see that UNICEF has done a lot of work there, providing proper medicine and education. However, I still feel that these children need clean water and a safe environment. For this, I need the support of my nation and my people. When we work together, we can bring about change.”

The Pagal Khaana actress narrated an incident: “I met a girl named Anam who told me she was about to get married, there was a fire in her eyes, and I was so impressed by how UNICEF is raising awareness and educating these children. They are providing education centers, medicine, and teaching about good touch and bad touch, among other things.”

However, Qamar acknowledged that many more areas in Pakistan need support and change.

“I am happy to see how many girls are coming forward. Each girl represents a society, a family. When we educate one child, imagine how much change we can bring to society. I have seen a group of girls who had confidence, a fire in their eyes, and a desire to bring about change. They understood the difference between right and wrong, good and bad touch, and even spoke English. I was impressed that such positive change could happen in a small area like Sujawal,” the Baaghi star added.

  • How Sahir Ali Bagga’s son rescued THIS song after RFAK’s refusal to sing

How Sahir Ali Bagga’s son rescued THIS song after RFAK’s refusal to sing

Singer Sahir Ali Bagga has revealed that renowned singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan refused to sing a song to pay tribute to the martyred children of Army Public School (APS) Peshawar, after which he sang the said song to his young son.

He recently appeared in the Sama TV program, where he discussed the anthems for the Pakistan Army.

“After the martyrdom of children in the Army Public School in Peshawar, when the ISPR asked him to compose a song on the tragedy, he first approached Rahat Fateh Ali Khan,” he recalled.

Bagga added that Rahat Fateh Ali Khan had taken the composed song, along with the money, but later, he refused to sing it.

“Rahat Fateh Ali Khan called me and apologised for not singing the song. He told me that he was feeling scared,” he said.

“I felt sorry after Rahat Fateh Ali Khan’s refusal and vowed that I would now do a bigger job than Rahat Fateh Ali Khan,” he claimed.

“I was also very sad because of the Army Public School tragedy, and then I suddenly thought of my school-going son and sang the song to him,” he added.

“It was only after Rahat Fateh Ali Khan’s refusal that I had my son Azaan sing ‘Bara Dushman Bana Phirta Hai,’ and after that, I also had him sing the second song, ‘Humain Dushman Ke Bachon Ko Parhana Hai,’” Bagga said.

Although he claimed that Rahat Fateh Ali Khan agreed to sing the song and received money for it and later denied it, Bagga did not clarify whether Khan returned the money to him or not.

He also did not clarify what happened to the copy of the song sung by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan.

The songs were released in 2015 after the December 2014 terrorist attacks on the Army Public School Peshawar and were well received.
