Hiba wore a bright red Lehenga paired with heavy gold jewelry. On the other hand, Arez wore a black sherwani. The event was held in Karachi.

The Nikkah ceremony of the duo was held in Karachi on Friday. The Inteha-e-Ishq pair took to their Instagram to share photographs from the dreamy ceremony.
Princess Diana’s love life was no secret. From her marriage to Prince Charles to her alleged affairs, her love life always remained tabloid fodder. But, amid all the buzz there was one guy who caught Diana’s full attention– Pakistani heart surgeon Hasnat Khan.

Khan met Diana in 1995 when the Princess of Wales visited London’s Royal Brompton Hospital to meet a friend’s husband, who was recovering from heart surgery. According to Vanity Fair, Diana was instantly attracted towards him and told her friends that time, “Isn’t he drop-dead gorgeous?”
According to Diana’s butler Paul Burrell, Khan was not sporty, not handsome, and not even wealthy enough to be Diana’s lover. However, the Princess of Wales loved him because of his nature.
Diana described Khan as ‘Mr Wonderful’ and some believed he was her soulmate. Burrell said she begged Khan to marry her and he was even asked to find a priest for the marriage ceremony. She even visited Khan’s parents in Pakistan.
“When you think of the kind of men Diana must have met or been with or seen — here is a man who is completely and totally selfless. She said she’d never met anybody like him,” a friend of Diana told Vanity Fair.
Diana and Khan’s romance was a hush-hush affair. She used to leave messages for him at the hospital using the alias Dr Arman. They even avoided the media by meeting at unusual places and at times Diana wore a black wig to escape detection, The Guardian reported.
According to the ABC News‘ documentary ‘The Last 100 Days of Diana: the People’s Princess’ ended her relationship with Khan because he refused to go public.
“I think Hasnat was very much in love with Diana, but had really reached the end of his tether because Diana pushed him and pushed him and pushed him to go public and say we’re a couple, and he wouldn’t,” Tina Brown, the author of The Diana Chronicles, said.
“Even after two years, the relationship wasn’t leading to a meaningful progression or conclusion and that was the main stress on both of us,” Khan told Daily Mail in 2013.
Khan tried to call Diana on the night she died in a car accident. Richard Kay, Diana’s friend, revealed in The Last 100 Days of Diana about Khan’s phone calls to her.
“I think he was worried about her. I think he was worried, as were a lot of her friends, about what she’d got herself into,” Kay said.

Coke Studio has revealed the line-up of December 2021’s Coke Studio season 14 in which the first Pakistani woman Grammy-nominated musician, Arooj Aftab is taking part. Netizens are expressing their excitement after the singer uploaded her coke studio poster on her social media accounts.

Arooj Aftab was born in Saudi Arabia where she lived until she turned 11. She then moved to her hometown, Lahore with her family. She described her family as “fiendy music lovers” as they used to sit together and had deep conversations regarding music.
She was raised listening to legendary musician and Qawwali singer, Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan and singer-songwriters like Jeff Buckley. She also covered the song, “Hallelujah” during her teenage time in the early 2000s which went viral in Pakistan through email and file-sharing sites like Napster and Limewire.
Last year, The Grammies, the biggest music awards in the world, nominated her in the Best New Artist category and also for the Best Global Performance for her song, Mohabbat which also made it to the Summer playlist 2021 of Former United States (US) President, Barack Obama.

Social media users are reacting to a scene in a new Pakistani drama, ‘Musht-e-Khaak’ starring Feroze Khan and Sana Javed. The names of the characters are Mustajab and Dua respectively. In that particular scene Mustajab is asking his wife to go on a honeymoon in the month of Ramzan. The drama airs twice a week on Geo entertainment. The story of the drama revolves around the obsessive behavior of Mustajab who falls in love with Dua in the first meeting.

Bollywood actor Anushka Sharma shared the first look teaser of ‘Chakda Xpress’, a biopic on the former captain of India national women’s cricket team Jhulan Goswami. The film will mark Anushka’s return to acting after a break of three years.
“It is a really special film because it is essentially a story of tremendous sacrifice,” she wrote while sharing the teaser of the Netflix movie on Instagram. It shows her leading her team to a cricket field, wearing jerseys with slips of their own names slapped on the male cricketers’ names, as she makes a promise: “Today, you see us. Tomorrow, you’ll remember our names.”
Talking about the film, Anushka wrote in her post: “Chakda Xpress is inspired by the life and times of former Indian captain Jhulan Goswami and it will be an eye-opener into the world of women’s cricket. At a time when Jhulan decided to become a cricketer and make her country proud on the global stage, it was very tough for women to even think of playing the sport. This film is a dramatic retelling of several instances that shaped her life and also women’s cricket.”
Some of the netizens loved the teaser and welcomed Anushka after the break while some did not like her Bengali accent and called it a poor attempt at darkening her skin.
