  • Were Bollywood celebrities paid to attend the Ambani wedding?

Were Bollywood celebrities paid to attend the Ambani wedding?

Bollywood star Ananya Panday has cleared the air about rumours that celebrities were paid to attend the grand wedding of Anant Ambani, son of the richest Indian businessman Mukesh Ambani, and Radhika Merchant.

The guest list for these events included Bollywood stars, Indian cricketers, social media influencers, billionaires, and political figures from around the world.

A number of reports suggested that some guests were paid large sums of money to attend the celebrations.

The ‘Call Me Bae’ actress, however, has denied these claims, saying she was there to celebrate the love of her friends, the bride and groom.

“They are my friends. I don’t understand why people think like this,” Panday said. “Obviously, I’ll dance wholeheartedly at my friends’ wedding. I love celebrating love.”

“No matter how many events there were, they greeted everyone with love and warmth,” she added.

Ananya also talked about the special connection between Anant and Radhika, saying, “Whenever they looked at each other, it was pure love. It felt like violins were playing in the background. That’s something I want in life.”

‘I don’t beg for work’: Fahad Sheikh

Rejection in the entertainment industry is a harsh reality and actor Fahad Sheikh has faced it too. Even though he’s gained success and praise, he’s faced setbacks along the way.

Recently Fahad appeared as a guest on ‘Mazaq Raat’, hosted by Imran Ashraf, where he talked about the most challenging moments of his career.

“One of the bitter mosy rejections I’ve faced is when, after Jalan drama, the phone calls finally started coming in. Production houses were suddenly reaching out, but there was still a sense of formality. My principle has always been that I don’t beg for work, and I hadn’t until now,” the actor began.

He went on to narrate a story. “So, I went for a meeting, dressed in a full black kurta, wearing Peshawari Chappal, with glasses on. I walked in, and there was the director, seated in a small room. I didn’t know him at all. He looked at me, but didn’t care much. He looked towards the GM, and I could sense the dismissive attitude.”

“Now, I’m standing at the door, thinking about what I should do next. It was an awkward moment; both of us felt embarrassed. And the gentleman who had brought me there was relaxed, probably because he already knew I was being rejected before we even got there. Then they offered me coffee, and I politely refused. We wrapped up the meeting quickly, made our way out, and left the place with disappointment. You know, every new city breaks you a little, but if it didn’t, perhaps the refinement in my work wouldn’t have come,” the Hasrat actor added.
Fahad Sheikh has starred in dramas such as Uff Ye Mohabbat, Waada, Hasrat, and Bojh.

  • ‘I actually had a nervous breakdown’: Tamkenat Mansoor talks about her divorce

‘I actually had a nervous breakdown’: Tamkenat Mansoor talks about her divorce

Divorce is a traumatic experience for the couple, but especially for women. The recent trend of celebrities talking about divorce is helping women deal with the trauma.

Actress and social media influencer Tamkenat Mansoor recently appeared as a guest on Ahmed Ali Butt’s podcast ‘Excuse Me’ where she opened up about her personal life.

The host asked, “The stigma that came with it, especially in our society, there’s an immediate reaction like, Oh, divorced (Talaq Yaftha), how did you deal with that?”

Tamkenat replied, “To be honest, I didn’t have to face much, because of being outspoken. I think a lot of people in my family never said anything to my face or to my parents’ faces because they knew that my family was totally on board with my decision. Secondly, it was my decision. It became entirely mine in the end because I actually had a nervous breakdown, and it was really bad. I had to be taken to a hospital, to a shrink, and you know how sometimes you’re so caught up in your situation that you only see a limited perspective? Like, in this room right now, our field of vision is only a small part. But if someone sees from the outside, they can see the whole room, every corner more clearly.”

Tamkenat shared why she does not bad mouth her ex-husband.
“I don’t think anyone ever ends a relationship happily. I never go into the details. The biggest reason is that I have never spoken badly of their father to my children. I haven’t, and my family hasn’t either. My parents, my siblings, have never spoken badly about him. If my children ever bring up something, we tell them, ‘Son, you shouldn’t speak like that. He is your father and older than you.’ I never wanted to cause them any pain. Secondly, although their father is rarely present, they still see him occasionally,” the actress added.

  • Best friend ya boyfriend: Ali Raza shares opinion on ‘red flags’

Best friend ya boyfriend: Ali Raza shares opinion on ‘red flags’

Actor Ali Raza, who stole hearts as Murad in the hit drama serial Noor Jahan, is taking over the entertainment industry. He recently appeared in an interview with Fuchsia Magazine where Raza talked about on modern day friendship.

The host Rabia Mughni asked “What are the red flags for you when it comes to girls?”

Ali Raza replied, “Male best friends that girls have apart from their boyfriends nowadays, it really puts me off. But the way things are nowadays, I think everyone understands that, and there’s no need to explain.”

“It’s hard for you to trust anyone. And I feel that the relationship doesn’t last long because mostly girls will have their best friend and having a best friend is acceptable, but you shouldn’t bond with them in the same way that you would with a lover.

For example, if you have plans with your boyfriend, don’t do those things with your best friend instead. Then what’s the point of having a boyfriend?” he explained.

“I think that’s a major red flag for me now. It wasn’t before, but after seeing things, I’ve come to understand. I used to tell my friends that nothing like this happens, that I have many friends too. But I’ve always kept a distance, and that’s why my friendships last because I maintain boundaries. If I meet my female friends, I try not to touch them or get too close,” the actor added.

“It’s not about them [women] or their husbands, but for me, I keep a distance, so in the future, if there’s ever a problem, her husband can’t say anything about me.

So maintaining that distance is important, and I think boundaries and respect are necessary,” Ali Raza believes.

  • Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs charged with racketeering, sex trafficking

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs charged with racketeering, sex trafficking

Superstar rap mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs pleaded not guilty Tuesday to racketeering and sex trafficking charges, and was ordered to remain in custody pending a trial.

Combs, 54, was arrested by federal agents in New York on Monday evening and accused in a just-unsealed three-count criminal indictment alleging he sexually abused women and coerced them into drug-fueled sex parties using threats and violence.

Appearing in a Manhattan courtroom where many family members came to support him, the one-time music dignitary pleaded not guilty. His lawyer asked Magistrate Judge Robyn Tarnofsky to allow his release on bail.

After a lengthy bail hearing in which the prosecution voiced concerns including the potential for witness tampering and flight risk, Judge Tarnofsky denied bail, saying she was concerned about a “power imbalance” in the case that includes people she said are “subject to coercion.”

She also cited concerns over his alleged propensity for anger, violence and substance abuse.

Combs, who was wearing black t-shirt, grey sweatpants and sneakers, did not noticeably react to the pre-trial detention ruling, which his attorney, Marc Agnifilo, said would be appealed.

Along with racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking, Combs is charged with one count of transporting victims across state lines to engage in prostitution.

Damian Williams, the US Attorney for the Southern District of New York, said that although Combs is the only person indicted for now the investigation is ongoing.

The indictment alleges that for decades Combs “abused, threatened, and coerced women and others around him to fulfill his sexual desires, protect his reputation, and conceal his conduct.”

It accused him of running a criminal enterprise that carried out “sex trafficking, forced labor, kidnapping, arson, bribery, and obstruction of justice.”

Combs allegedly engaged in a “persistent and pervasive pattern” of verbal, emotional, physical, and sexual abuse of women, the indictment said.

“On numerous occasions from at least in or about 2009 and continuing for years, Combs assaulted women by, among other things, striking, punching, dragging, throwing objects at, and kicking them,” it said.

Williams said female victims were forced to engage in extended sexual performances with male commercial sex workers in sessions called “Freak Offs,” which were planned and controlled by Combs and often videotaped.

“The Freak Offs sometimes lasted days at a time… and often involved a variety of narcotics such as ketamine, ecstasy and GHB,” he said. “The indictment alleges that Combs threatened and coerced victims to get them to participate in the Freak Offs.”

    – Bombshell suit –

The powerful music industry figure, who has gone by various monikers including Puff Daddy and P Diddy, was credited as key to hip hop’s journey from the streets to luxury clubs.

Despite his efforts to cultivate the image of a smooth party kingpin and business magnate, a spate of lawsuits describe Combs as a violent man who used his celebrity to prey on women.

The floodgates opened last year after singer Cassie, whose real name is Casandra Ventura, alleged Combs subjected her to more than a decade of coercion by physical force and drugs as well as a 2018 rape.

The pair met when Ventura was 19 and Combs was 37, after which he signed her to his label and they began a relationship.

The bombshell suit was settled out of court, but a string of similarly lurid sexual assault claims followed — including one in December by a woman who alleged Combs and others gang-raped her when she was 17.

The rapper’s luxury homes in Miami and Los Angeles were raided by agents in March.

Disturbing surveillance video emerged in May showing Combs physically assaulting his then-girlfriend Ventura, corroborating allegations she made in the now-settled case.

The prosecution referenced the footage’s content during the bail hearing, suggesting it is a key element of their case.

    – Global fame with dark shadow –

Born Sean John Combs on November 4, 1969, in Harlem, the artist entered the industry as an intern in 1990 at Uptown Records, where he eventually became a talent director.

In 1991, he promoted a celebrity basketball game and concert at the City College of New York that left nine people dead after a stampede and resulted in a string of lawsuits.

He was fired from Uptown and founded his own label, Bad Boy Records.

That began a quick ascent to the top of East Coast hip hop, along with his late disciple, The Notorious B.I.G.

Combs boasted a number of major signed acts and production collaborations with the likes of Mary J Blige, Usher, Lil’ Kim, TLC, Mariah Carey and Boyz II Men.

He was also a Grammy-winning rapper in his own right, debuting with the chart-topping single “Can’t Nobody Hold Me Down” and his album “No Way Out.”
