  • Here is the probable playing XI of Pakistan against USA

Here is the probable playing XI of Pakistan against USA

The possible green shirt playing XI for Pakistan vs USA scheduled on June 6 in T20 World Cup 2024 has come out. Pakistan will play their first T20 World Cup 2024 match against USA today, in Dallas, Texas AT 8:30 PM (PKT).

Captain Babar Azam and Muhammad Rizwan, who returned as the opening pair with a 59-run partnership in the fourth T20I against England, are likely to continue as openers in this match as well.

Azam Khan is suffering from confidence issues after poor performances with gloves and bat in the recent series. This may allow Pakistan to consider replacing him with Saeem Ayub. If Saeem Ayub is included in the playing XI, he will likely open alongside Rizwan.

Due to Imad Wasim’s injury, Shadab Khan will be the only specialist spinner in the XI who will handle the spin department with the help of Iftikhar.
The Grand Prairie Cricket Stadium conditions are favorable for fast bowlers, so Pakistan is likely to go with four pacers.

If the Green Shirts decide to go with three pacers, Abrar Ahmed will come into the playing XI.

    Pakistan’s Probable Playing XI:

Muhammad Rizwan, Babar Azam (captain), Usman Khan, Fakhar Zaman, Shadab Khan, Azam Khan (wicketkeeper), Iftikhar Ahmed, Shaheen Afridi, Naseem Shah/Abbas Afridi or Abrar Ahmed, Mohammad Amir and Haris Rauf.

Fact-check: 25 dollars dein, Pak cricket team ke sath tasveer aur autograph lein

Meet Pakistani cricketers participating in the World Cup, take autographs and take pictures, for which you have to pay $25. An invitation stating the above has gone viral on social media.

Former captain Rashid Latif claims, “Players are getting paid to take autographs and take pictures. Attending a private dinner just before the World Cup is disastrous. If International Cricket Council (ICC) or PCB had organized it, it would have been a different matter. We are saying that give 25 dollars and meet Pakistani players.”

“These are not fundraising and private dinners, please don’t do that and focus on cricket,” Rashid further said.

The spokesperson of PCB claims that the Pakistani cricket team participated in a charity event in Dallas, but the invitation does not mention charity anywhere, Abdul Majid Bhatti has reported for Geo News.

On the YouTube channel ‘Harna Mana Hai’ there was a debate between national team opener Ahmed Shahzad and Imam ul Haq over Babar Azam’s captaincy, in which Imam was seen defending Babar while Ahmad Shahzad took exceptions with his decisions.

Program host Tabish Hashmi asked, “Imad Wasim and Mohammad Amir are not friends with Babar Azam, everyone knows, but they are back in the playing XI today.” To which Shahzad replied, “They are playing because both have connections with the board’s top officials. They invited Imad and Amir back to the team.”
