Indian star-cricketer Virat Kohli in his recent interview revealed that he was ‘unfair’ with his wife Anushka Sharma and loved ones when he was going through a bad spell in his life.
He revealed that due to frustrations slowly creeping into his life, he wasn’t able to stay as energetic as he was. Which is why his relationships were being affected. In an interview with bcci.tv, he said, “In my case, in denial, frustration was creeping in. I was very cranky, very snappy in my space. As the Miss Universe pageant kick-started this week, Miss Thailand Anna Sueangam-iam began trending on the internet when she made her debut on stage wearing a gown made with soda tabs.
The gown, also called the ‘Hidden Precious Diamond Dress” was designed by the brand Manirat and is made out of the aluminium soda tabs of cans with Swaovski crystals embedded into it.
On Instagram, the post featuring the dress has reached over 150,000 likes. Sueangam-iam explained that her gown was designed as a tribute to her parents who were garbage-collectors, as a way to honor her upbringing.
“This gown was inspired by the familiar surroundings of my childhood. Growing up with garbage collector parents, my life as a child was among piles of garbage and recyclables. American rapper and the force behind fashion brand Yeezy, Kanye West has reportedly married architect Bianca Censori. According to TMZ, West and his new bride have tied the knot in a private ceremony in Beverly Hills, and were spotted wearing wedding bands while eating together.
Censori is working as an artichetural designer for West’s fashion line ‘Yeezy’. She graduated with a Bachelors in Architecture from the University of Melbourne in 2017, and later completed her Masters in 2020. Before working with Kanye, she had launched her own jewlery company, Nylons right after graduating high school.

The Hollywood film Titanic is an absolute cult classic that created history at the box office. The blockbuster movie’s director James Cameron recently spilled the beans about his casting process for the film. James has a knack for spotting amazing actors for the roles in his movies. In an interview with People at the Golden Globes 2023, Avatar: The Way of Water director James Cameron revealed Leonardo DiCaprio didn’t want to become the leading man in his Titanic. He said, “He didn’t want to do a leading man. I had to really twist his arm to be in the movie. He didn’t want to do it. He thought it was boring. It didn’t surprise me, first of all, that he’s made a lot of authentic choices going forward. And secondly, I never doubted his talent.”
Going further in the conversation, James explained how he had to fight for him and convince him to do the role. He even shared that he cannot imagine Titanic without Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet. He said, “I think about that casting Leonardo and Kate in Titanic. Leo, the studio didn’t want him; I had to fight for him. Kate really liked him and then Leonardo decided he didn’t want to make the movie. So then I had to talk him into it. You think at any one of those places, if that had really kind of frayed apart, it would have been somebody else and it wouldn’t have been that film. I can’t imagine that film without him and without her.”

Actor Sanjay Dutt, who was diagnosed with lung cancer in 2020 has shared in an interview that he refused to get proper treatment for the disease and rather preferred dying.
Recently at an event, Dutt revealed that after his diagnosis he told his sister Priya that he do not want to get chemotherapy and that he would like to choose death over treatment.
He further recalled that his family has had a history of cancer as his mother Nargis and wife Richa Sharma died due to the same.
The Munna Bhai MBBS actor quoted saying: “My first reaction was that, once you hear something like this, your whole life reflects back at you. I have a history of cancer in my family. My mom died of pancreatic cancer, and my wife died of brain cancer. So, the first thing I said was that I don’t want to take chemotherapy. If I’m supposed to die, I will just die but I don’t want any treatment.”
Previously back in the days when he was shooting for Shamshera in 2020, Sanjay was diagnosed with severe lung cancer. The actor resumed the shoot after his recovery.
Federal Minister for Climate Change Sherry Rehman and the first female judge of Pakistan’s Supreme Court Justice Ayesha Malik have been featured in the prestigious Forbes’ ’50 Over 50: Asia 2023′ list.

The magazine wrote: “In 2022, at age 56, Malik became the first woman to serve as a justice of Pakistan’s Supreme Court, in the country’s 75-year history. Malik issued a seminal judgement outlawing the use of virginity tests in rape cases. She also served on the board of the Punjab Judicial Academy and as chair of the Judicial Officers Female Supervisory Committee.”
Highlighting Rehman’s achievements Forbes stated, “At the 2022 UN Climate Change Conference (COP27), Rehman made global news, suggesting a new deal to channel money from rich countries to poor ones that have suffered climate-related disasters”.
“She was the first female to hold office as Leader of Opposition in the Senate in 2018,” added the magazine.

Academy and Emmy award winner Riz Ahmed announced on social media yesterday that he had joined the Pakistani film ‘Joyland’ as an Executive Producer.

The State Bank of Pakistan’s (SBP) foreign exchange reserves fell to $4.34 billion, its lowest level since February 2014, due to a lack of dollar inflows from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) or friendly nations.
The SBP disclosed on Thursday that due to the repayment of external debt, its reserves fell by $1.23 billion during the week ended January 6.
The country has been experiencing a severe dollar shortage, which is having a negative impact on the capacity to import even food and industrial raw supplies. The country doesn’t have enough dollars, according to the most recent status of foreign exchange reserves, to pay for even one month’s worth of routine imports.
Data showed that commercial banks held $5.84 billion in net foreign currency reserves, while the overall amount of liquid foreign exchange reserves was $10.18 billion.
Ever since the beginning of 2022–2023, reserves have been rapidly decreasing. In the upcoming months, analysts predict rising inflation and limited industrial output as manufacturing is constrained by the scarcity of imported raw materials.
According to Geo, United Arab Emirates (UAE) will roll over the existing loan of $2 billion and give an additional $1 billion loan, which should stabilise the reserve position in the coming days.
As the government strives to reduce imports amid a dollar shortage, the reserves, which fell to their lowest level since February 2014, would now only provide import coverage of 0.82 month.
Social media platform Tik Tok has announced a collaboration with ed-tech startup Edkasa to form a scholarship program that will provide grants to 18,000 deserving students across Pakistan.
Details have revealed that in a partnership with LUMS, students who are selected will be provided with over two months of Edkasa’s free studying materials as well as access to an exam pack for whichever grade or exam they have applied for.
This collaboration comes after the #ExamReady campaign, which was a previous collaboration between Tik Tok and EdKasa, and had provided students with access to over 500 million videos covering subjects like Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Biology.
