    Wash in Lukewarm Water

    Hot showers and baths always feel good in the winter but try to take bath with lukewarm water. This will prevent your skin from getting dry or patchy.

    Moisturize Immediately Afterwards

    Your skin not only needs more moisture, but moisture right after you wash. Applying moisture to damp skin helps seal that dampness into the skin. Keep a bottle near the bathtub or sink and use that every time you wash.

    Apply sunscreen even on grey winter days

    wear gloves and scarves to protect skin from cold winds. Don’t forget the sunscreen. Winter sun can be just as damaging as summer sun.

    Hydrate from the inside out

    We tend to drink less water in the winter but don’t forget that your skin needs hydration from the inside out. A little warm water with lemon can be very refreshing and hydrating at the same time. Eating foods high in water content can help hydrate your skin. You can eat apples, oranges, kiwi, and watery veggies like, tomatoes, cucumbers, and carrots. 

     Use DIY Masks

    Homemade hydrating masks can provide needed moisture in the cold days. Use natural moisturizing ingredients like honey, avocado, yogurt, olive and jojoba oils, almond oil, bananas, and aloe. Mix what you like together to create a cream or paste, and leave on skin for 10-30 minutes for lasting hydration. Just do a patch test on your skin before applyting to your face or body

    No conditions: Nawaz decides not to leave the country

    After the government announced earlier that former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif would be allowed to leave the country on ‘conditional permission’, Nawaz has refused to leave Pakistan.

    Sources claim that a one-and-a-half hour meeting took place between Nawaz and his brother Shahbaz Sharif at Nawaz’s residence where he took this decision.

    Analysts say the only course of action for the Sharifs is to take the case to court but that might take time. Since Nawaz’s doctors have stated that he is in immediate danger and needs to be treated abroad, going to court might be a difficult decision for the family.

    Nawaz’s departure is now unconfirmed and Geo News sources are claiming that an air ambulance has not been called for transporting Nawaz, as previously claimed by the media.

    On the other hand, the cabinet committee will officially announce tomorrow if Nawaz’s name has been taken off the exit control list. The decision will be announced at 10 am Wednesday morning.

    Police arrest man for raping more than 30 children

    Rawalpindi police have arrested a man for raping more than 30 children in different cities.

    According to reports, the suspect has been identified as Sohail. He was arrested after a woman filed a case against him for kidnapping her 13-year-old son, drugging him and then raping him for four days. The man even recorded his videos and blackmailed to release them if the child tells anyone about it.

    The man has also been imprisoned for raping children in the United Kingdom and Italy. He was then deported from both the countries after he completed his prison sentences.

    The suspect has confessed to his crimes and claimed that he uploaded videos of the children on a website.

    The Rawat police have filed a case against him under articles 367-A (kidnapping), 377 (unnatural offenses), 337-J (attempting to poison) and 342 (punishment for wrongful confinement) of the Pakistan Penal Code.

    ‘Will allow Maryam to travel abroad as well if she gets ill,’ says Interior minister

    Interior Minister Ijaz Shah has said that even Maryam Nawaz would be allowed to travel abroad if she was unwell, Geo News reported.

    According to the details, the minister said that there was no difference of opinion in the cabinet over the issue of removing former prime minister Nawaz Sharif’s name from the Exit Control List (ECL).

    “Nawaz Sharif is being allowed to go abroad on humanitarian grounds,” Shah said, adding that according to the doctors, former Prime Minister’s health was in critical condition and his treatment was not possible in Pakistan.

    “Nawaz is not going out of the country on a permanent basis. He will return after recovering from illness,” Shah said, dispelling the notion that the PML-N leader was being given relief under a deal.

    He added that all the ministers were in favour of allowing Nawaz to go abroad for treatment.

    Commenting on the ongoing Azadi March, Shah said, “We are giving Maulana Fazlur Rehman so many facilities that he will forget his demand for the prime minister’s resignation.”

    The minister, however, conceded that the JUI-F chief was not going to leave Islamabad anytime soon. “We have given him water, electricity and medical support,” he said, adding that Maulana Fazl had grown fond of Islamabad.

    Gear up Pakistanis – we’re getting a new superhero!

    Comedy king Ahmed Ali Butt and the talented duo behind Load Wedding and Actor in Law, Nabeel Qureshi and Fizza Ali Meerza are coming together for a new superhero film titled Fatman.

    Butt announced the film on social media by sharing a selfie with the film’s makers.

    He captioned it, “AlhumduliAllah it’s official. My next film and my first as a lead with these crazy people.”

    “Looking forward to making a great film with these great, creative filmmakers and hope you’ll all love it as much as I love the script… InshAllah, see you next year.”

    The film’s name had us intrigued so we got in touch with the director and lead actor for some inside details.

    Speaking exclusively about the film to The Current, Ahmad said, “It’s a different and bold take on superhero films but at the core, it is a story about a father-son relationship.”

    He added, “It also addresses body shaming, yet keeps the family entering factors in mind.”

    Meanwhile, Nabeel revealed, “It’s a real-life superhero family entertainment film with a great message which talks about body shaming, with pun intended.”

    The film will be directed by Nabeel and produced by Fizza Ali Meerza under their production house Filmwala Pictures. Shooting for the film is expected to start early next year while the release is slated to be in late 2020.

    Local media reports are headlining that Prime Minister Imran Khan and Indian Punjab’s Chief Minister Amarinder Singh share family ties. But while the two certainly do share history, they are not related.

    According to an official statement issued by Singh’s office, PM Imran and Singh on their five-minute bus ride on the inauguration of the Kartarpur Corridor discovered a ‘special connect’ between their two families even though they had not met each other before and neither did the two know each other personally.

    The statement read, “During his conversation with [PM] Imran, Captain Amarinder told the latter that his uncle, Jahangir Khan had played for Patiala, along with Mohd Nisar, Lala Amarnath, fast bowler Amar Singh and the two Ali batsmen (Wazir Ali and Amir Ali).

    “These seven players were part of the team captained by Captain Amarinder’s father, Maharaja Yadvinder Singh (the ruler of the erstwhile Patiala state) in 1934-35, for India and for Patiala.”

    Jahangir was married to PM Imran’s maternal aunt, Mubarak, and was a cricketer during the British Raj era.

    The Congress leader’s office said that the bus ride lasted less than five minutes, but, thanks to cricket, it was enough to break the ice between the two leaders.

    The Punjab chief minister was part of the group of over 550 Indian pilgrims who were the first Indians to enter Pakistan through the Kartarpur Corridor.

    Singh shared the bus ride with the premier after he was received by PM Imran and Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi at the Zero Point of the International Border of the Kartarpur corridor.

    The government is planning to launch Youth Empowerment Card to make the youth of the country empowered.

    As per reports, the Youth Empowerment Card would be a subsidy card for the youth to get civic services.

    Prime Minister Youth Affairs Programme (PMYAP) is collaborating with NADRA to launch this card for the youth, Radio Pakistan reported.

    The youth will avail subsidy on travel, passport fee and CINC and the youth across the country will also be provided Rs 4000 to Rs 5000 under this card. NADRA will collect the basic data of youth across the country for this programme.

    KP to launch public toilet finder app

    The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government is all set to introduce an app on November 19 which will assist people, particularly tourists, in finding public toilets across the province.

    Imranullah Mohmand, assistant coordinator of water and sanitation services cell (W&SC) of local government department made the announcement and said that a similar app was being run in Australia and India for the facilitation of masses.

    He added that the step was aimed to keep the province clean and protect the environment from degradation and the citizens from diseases. He said all necessary information about toilets, including their distance, male, female, children and disabled persons, would be available on the app for public information.

    The app is being introduced keeping in mind the vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan to make the country clean and green.
