Ayberk Pekcan, Turkish actor best known for playing Artuk Bey on Dirilis: Ertugrul, has passed away. The actor was only 51 years old. He had been battling the illness for a while.
He also visited Pakistan last year.
Over the course of his career, Pekcan appeared in a number of Turkish productions, including the popular Turkish series Valley of the Wolves (Kurtlar Vadisi).
Esra Bilgiç and Engin Altan took to Instagram to remember their co-star.
Diriliş: Ertuğrul’ was a 179 episodes saga, that was dubbed in Urdu and aired on PTV. It was a major success in Pakistan.
