Recently the Dil Diya Dehleez actress appeared as a guest on Gup Shup, hosted by Vasay Chaudhary. During the show a fan from the audience asked, “Is there any drama that you rejected at first and later regretted because it became a hit?”

Hiba Ali replied, “Oh yes, there was a drama, after I rejected it, Yumna played the role. It was on Hum TV, and it was the character of Zahid’s mother who later becomes a lady. It was ‘Ishq Zahe Naseeb’, I think. Before my gap from Hum TV, they had offered me the role and I thought it was a side character since Sonia was already leading, and the mother’s role was in flashbacks, so I didn’t do it. Then Yumna took that role, and after that, she became who she is today, Mashallah, it was in her fate. So, that role slipped through my hands. That was about four or five years ago.”
