Bigg Boss 15’s most loved contestant Umar Riaz trends on social media after unfair eviction

India’s biggest celebrity reality show Bigg Boss has been trending on social media, especially twitter since last three days in India, Pakistan and Bangladesh due to the unfair eviction of surgeon and model Umar Riaz.

Umar has become the most trended contestant of this seasons before and after his eviction.

Umar lasted for fourteen weeks on the show which will have its final on 30th January.

Umar tackled fellow contestant Pratik Sehajpal to the floor during a task, last week which was termed as violence by the makers of the show. Many viewers of the show brought up the fact that Simba Nagpal was not punished for angrily pushing him inside the swimming pool.

Umar’s fans have taken over Twitter to call this an unfair eviction considering many other contestants have also shown aggression during the tasks but none of them had to face the brunt like Umar. In his latest tweet though, Umar also hinted at his eviction being unfair when he wrote that he can never believe his fans didn’t vote for him. After the fight that took place last week, Bigg Boss had announced that Umar will have to take the punishment as per the viewers’ decision in the Weekend Ka Vaar episode.

The Befikar Raho star took to his twitter handle to share his stance after his controversial ouster.

Netizens also loved his bond with co-contestants Karan Kundra and Rashami Desai.

Umar’s younger brother Asim Riaz is amongst the most loved Bigg Boss contestants of all time and became a runner up in season thirteen.

Australian judge offers Djokovic ray of hope in deportation fight

An Australian judge demanded to know what more Serbian tennis star Novak Djokovic could have done to meet the country’s strict pandemic entry requirements, offerring a ray of hope to the detained tennis ace as he fights deportation.

The 34-year-old world number one arrived in Melbourne last week ahead of Australian Open, hoping to win a record-breaking 21st Grand Slam title.

But guards at the Melbourbne’s Tullamarine Airport decided the unvaccinated star had failed to present a solid medical reason for not being vaccinated.

Djokovic’s visa was revoked and he was moved to an immigration detention facility pending deportation.

In an emergency online court hearing Monday, Federal Judge Anthony Kelly listened to extended legal wrangling about the process, before jumping to the 34-year-old’s defence.

Declaring himself “somewhat agitated”, Kelly said Djokovic had provided evidence from “a professor and an eminently qualified physician” about a medical exemption.

“What more could this man have done?” the judge demanded.

The proceedings were being watched live and anti-vaccine activists shared a link to the livestream, defying a court order by broadcasting the proceedings live on YouTube.

Eventually, the judge pressed ahead without a public livestream, and Djokovic’s team of top lawyers made his case.

The Australian Open gets under way in just seven days, and the nine-time defending champion’s participation now entirely depends on whether Judge Kelly believes the government acted improperly in revoking his visa.

Most foreigners are still banned from travel to Australia, and those granted entry must be fully vaccinated or have an exemption like “acute” illness.

Meanwhile, much of Australia is tightening restrictions to battle an Omicron-fuelled wave of infections.

As per reports, the country is now approaching 100,000 cases a day, having been virus-free for much of the pandemic.

Indian 85-year-old man says he got 12 Covid vaccine shots, still wants more

An 85-year-old retired postman from the northern Indian state of Bihar received his first dose on February 13 at a local clinic, and he hasn’t stopped since.

In an interview with New York Times, he said, “I felt that it was helping my general health. My backache has improved, my general weakness improved, and my appetite improved. I still want more.”

Mandal used his national identity and his mobile number card for 9 shots out of 12. After that, he used his voting card and the mobile numbers of his wife and his friends.

He admitted that each time he registered for a new jab he told the staff lie that he had not received any dose before.

However, his claim has not yet been confirmed but media reports suggested that Bihar’s vaccination numbers are likely inaccurate. The manual registration process might be the cause of this.

According to the newspaper, there is no indication that the immune system with 12 shots brings any real benefits.
