Shaan is not happy with SRK voicing Mufasa for ‘The Lion King’s’ live-action remake

The Lion King’s live-action remake is releasing in a few days and needless to say everyone is excited. A few days back it was revealed that Shahrukh Khan and his son Aryan Khan will be doing the voiceover for Mufasa and Simba respectively for the Hindi version of the film. And naturally, anything that has SRK associated with it gets us excited. However, there is one person who is not happy with this news: Shaan.

To be honest, Shaan is pretty hard to impress anyway, but yaar Shahrukh Khan say kaun nai impress hota. Khair Shaan decided to voice his displeasure in a series of tweets.

When someone told him not to watch the film, he responded, “Then don’t release it in Pakistan.”

People started calling out Shaan for his comments and said that he is jealous of SRK.

Someone went onto say that Shaan is “always bitter.”

One person commented that Shaan is obsessed with SRK.

A Twitter user dragged in Shaan’s Arth 2, which was a box-office failure.

Wow, Shaan really is active on Twitter. He practically responded to each user who criticised him. He was even defending Prime Minister Imran Khan and his government at the same time. Looks like he has plenty of free time on his hands aaj kal.

Survivor of brutal stabbing, Khadija Siddiqi, completes bar degree

The girl who did not give up is now officially a barrister.

Khadija Siddiqi, who was stabbed 23 times in broad daylight in Lahore by her class fellow Shah Hussain, broke all barriers when she consistently fought her case and emerged successful in proving the culprit guilty.

And now Khadija has another feather in her cap. She just completed her bar degree from the City Law School of London with exceptional grades.

Though Khadija began her fight for justice alone, her campaign gained momentum and media coverage when civil society and activists like Hassan Niazi and Jibran Nasir came forward to support her.

Khadija completed her Law degree from the Blackstone School of Law (University of London) and went to study in the UK in September 2018. On 22nd January 2019 whilst sitting for her bar exams, she returned to Pakistan for her final hearing in the Supreme Court, which gave the decision in her favour.

  • Pakistanis can’t help but celebrate India’s loss and New Zealand’s win

Pakistanis can’t help but celebrate India’s loss and New Zealand’s win

India lost to New Zealand last night which means they are officially out of the race for the Cricket World Cup. Needless to say, Pakistan couldn’t help but celebrate India’s loss, especially considering them losing to England lessened our chances of reaching the semi-finals. And what better way to celebrate our arch-rival’s loss than with memes. Pakistani social media was lit last night and here’s proof. As ESPN on Pakistan had written, “No matter what you believe, there is nothing they can’t do. The memes keep them in any game.”

    Abhinandan was dragged in.

Even ICC did not let go of a chance to celebrate New Zealand’s win.

As expected, the newly engaged were also brought into the memes.

    Anushka was also not spared.

Apart from the memes, Pakistani celebrities and politicians also took to Twitter to express their joy at New Zealand’s win.

  • Kohli’s diet includes imported water only

Kohli’s diet includes imported water only

Devastated by India’s defeat to New Zealand, which kicked them out of the World Cup, Captain Virat Kohli said “forty-five minutes of bad cricket put us out”, and although we’re all secretly very happy India is out of the running, we should appreciate the fitness of the Indian team captain.

How does Kohli stay so fit?

Kohli eats home cooked food, avoids junk food, likes nuts with black coffee and is keen on the protein.

When he’s on the field he likes to snack on roasted channas (chick peas) for a protein surge.

He also only drinks Evian, imported from France to stay free of any water borne diseases.

Kohli believes in substituting snacks with healthy food, like fries for wheat crackers, and carries nuts around with him so he can snack when hes hungry.

He prefers egg white omelettes, soups and salads and high protein meals like chicken and salmon. He also believes in exercising every day, without fail.

On the other hand, Pak’s cricket captain Sarfaraz loves his biryani (in moderation) and beef korma with sheer maal. And despite Sarfaraz’s love for food and Kohli’s strict regime, Sarfaraz managed four runs against New Zealand and Kohli was out at one run.
