    Aamir Khan announces divorce with Kiran Rao after fifteen years of marriage

    Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao announced their divorce after 15 years of marriage in a mutual public statement. The ex-couple shared that they will “nurture and raise” their son Azad Rao Khan together. They will also be continuing their professional association on Paani Foundation and other work commitments.

    “In these 15 beautiful years together we have shared a lifetime of experiences, joy and laughter, and our relationship has only grown in trust, respect and love. Now we would like to begin a new chapter in our lives – no longer as husband and wife, but as co-parents and family for each other,” a statement issued by Khan and Rao read.

    The statement added that Khan and Rao separated prior to filing for divorce. On the work front the Dhoom 3 actor will be seen next in Laal Singh Chadda co-starring Kareena Kapoor.

    Cake

    One of the best films to come out of the Pakistani entertainment industry, Cake perfectly highlights complex dynamics in family relationships. Featuring Sanam Saeed, Aamina Sheikh, Adnan Malik, Mohammad Ahmed, Beo Zafar Rana and Mikaal Zulfiqar in the lead, Cake follows a family who comes together when the family patriarch suffers from a heart attack, bringing to the front secrets that were best left in the past.

    Teefa in Trouble

    This comic caper has all the ingredients of a masala action comedy with some stunning cinematography, great songs and witty one-liners. Highly recommended.

    Chupan Chupai

    Another action-comedy, Chupan Chupai features Ahsan Khan, Neelam Muneer and Faizan Khwaja in the lead and follows three friends, Feddy (Zayed Sheikh), Koki (Ali Rizvi), and Teli who cross paths with Babu (Ahsan Khan) and his girlfriend, Pari (Neelam Muneer). A series of misadventures follow when they kidnap a minister’s son for a huge ransom. Though senseless at places, the film is a wild ride and will have you in fits.

    Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle

    The third installment in the Jumanji franchise, the film focuses on a group of teenagers who come across Jumanji—now transformed into a video game—twenty-one years after the events of the 1995 film. They find themselves trapped in the game as a set of adult avatars, seeking to complete a quest alongside another player who has been trapped since 1996.

    Dil Chahta Hai

    A classic, Dil Chahta Hai is the coming of age story of three college friends who embark on different journeys yet remained bonded through their friendship. Featuring Aamir Khan, Akshaye Khanna, Saif Ali Khan, Dimple Kapadia and Preity Zinta, the film has been directed by Farhan Akhtar. Those going through transitional phases in their lives will have a lot to take away from the film.

    3 Idiots

    One of the best films to come out of Bollywood, 3 Idiots is about three friends and their antics in college life. While being highly entertaining, the film featuring Aamir Khan, R Madhavan, Sharman Joshi, Kareena Kapoor and Boman Irani, is also very thought-provoking. Don’t forget to keep a box of tissues nearby.

    Ranbir Kapoor to star alongside Aamir Khan in ‘PK’ sequel

    According to Indian media reports, Aamir Khan and Anushka Sharma blockbuster ‘PK’ is getting a sequel.

    Talking to a news media publication, Producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra confirmed the news saying, “There is a story to tell but Abhijat Joshi (the writer of the previous installment) has not written it yet. The day he writes it, we will make it.”

    He also hinted including heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor, who also made a surprising appearance at the end leaving fans all in hooting in cinemas. Ranbir and Vinod also paired up for “Sanju” in 2018 which had rave reviews.

    PK Director Rajkumar Hirani has previously mentioned that people had been unhappy with the script ending the way it did. He added that the makers then decided to show PK’s return to Earth with another native from his planet, which would lead to a sequel. Ranbir Kapoor played the role of this particular native.

    The original film PK, was filled with funny and emotional dialogues and resonated with audiences around the world. Known for its thought provoking scenes and a Aamir’s depiction of a funny alien which comes to earth to find his “remotava”, the movie was controversial because of the questions it raised about different sects and religions in India. The movie also starred late actor Sushant Singh, Sanjay Dutt and Boman Irani.
