    Aamir Liaquat is a controversial name, be it his show or frequent social media scandals, he is always in the news for the wrong reasons.

    Galaxy Lollywood has confirmed the news about Express TV firing Aamir Liaquat due to his problematic media coverage citing reliable sources. Aamir was recently bashed by netizens for being too frank with the female guests on his show such as Saboor Aly and Kinza Hashmi. Another female guest, Nausheen Shah even scolded him on live television for his uncomfortable conduct and use of words.

    His name has also been riled up in controversies recently such as an estranged third wife scandal or bashing by PTI leaders earlier this year. All these controversies have resulted in the channel ending their association with Aamir.

    Drama critic Lubna Faryad recently started a conversation on her show about Aamir’s uncomfortable and vulgar antics, she also mentioned that someone needs to control his conduct on national Television.

    Aamir has also unfollowed Express TV from his official Instagram handle.

    Throughout the show, Shah was pretty active and in an extremely joyful mood but by the end, she ran out of patience and got angry at the host. One thing led to another as the situation got super awkward.

    At the end of the show, Nausheen was trying to share her thoughts but Liaquat kept interrupting, which annoyed her.

    Annoyed with the constant interference, Nausheen scolded Liaquat saying: “Listen, Dr Sahab. Oh My God you talk nonstop and don’t listen to the other person at all and that’s what I am fed up with.”

    Earlier, Saboor Aly refused to entertain Liaquat’s antics after he kept teasing her throughout the show.

    Aamir Liaquat has shut down all rumours of a third marriage, saying that he has only one wife and that is Syeda Tuba Aamir.

    Liaquat made these remarks after a video of actor and model Haniya Khan claiming to be his emerged on social media a few days ago. Khan also claimed that she attempted suicide five times and accused Tuba of using black magic on her. She also alleged that Liaquat turned her family against her.

    Responding to the allegations, Liaquat in a video message said: “Everyone complains about talkative women, but no one marries a mute woman. Everyone wants to marry a woman that can speak.”

    “I only have one marriage, which is with Tuba,” he added, before going to recite some poetic versus.

    Meanwhile, in an interview with a local YouTube channel, Liaquat asserted that he does not have a third wife, saying: “I came to know this family when they came to the Parliament Lodges. I helped by giving them Rs 25000 for groceries.”

    Liaquat also accused Haniya of being mentally ill saying: “Agar aik aadmi ko mohabbat ho gae hai mujh se to me kia karskta hun (If someone has fallen in love with me what can I do).”

    Aamir Liaquat strikes again. After giving us a glimpse of his dancing skills with the Nagin Dance, the television show host’s singing skills have come into the spotlight after a video of him humming Laila O Laila on the sets of his Ramzan transmission was leaked on social media.

    The behind-the-scenes video, which has gone viral on social media, shows Liaquat singing the superhit Bollywood song as the musicians play the music.

    Earlier, during this year’s transmission, Aamir also gave memers an opportunity to make new memes by competing in a race with Pakistani star Naseem Hameed, who had won a gold medal at the South Asian Federation Games in 2010.

    Liaquat became a member of National Assembly in 2018, after securing a seat from NA-245 Karachi.

    Aamir Liaquat left the internet in fits with his recent shenanigans during his Ramzan transmission. Liaquat’s ‘naagin dance’, in particular, has gone viral.

    Yasir Hussain, who recently appeared on Liaquat’s show, recreated the naagin pose with the politician and shared pictures of it on social media.

    “Entertainer of The Decade,” said Hussain, praising Liaquat. “Aap k Nagin dance ne bohot hansaya. Aur yehi such hai. Keep entertaining us.

    On Monday, Aamir became a centre of attention on social media platforms for the second time this week with his stunning performance on naagin music during his show Jeeway Pakistan.

    While shaking his leg to the beat, the most hilarious moment came when he stretched on the floor and displayed his naagin dance skills.

    The video had gone viral on social media users with some enjoying it and others criticising him.

    Earlier, Liaquat had invited a Pakistani star Naseem Hameed on his show. The host challenged Hameed, who had won a gold medal at the South Asian Federation Games in 2010 for a 20-meter race on stage.

    In an unexpected turn of events, the race did not end well and Liaquat took a slight fall on the floor.

    Bushra Iqbal says Aamir Liaquat divorced her over the phone

    Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) MNA and TV host Aamir Liaquat Hussain’s first wife Bushra Iqbal has opened up about her divorce and has revealed that Liaquat divorced her over the phone at the behest of his second wife Syed Tuba Aamir.

    In a social media post, Bushra Iqbal confirmed the separation and wrote: “Salam. I think its I bring about some clarity regarding my relationship with my ex-husband Aamir Liaquat.”

    “He has divorced me,” stated Bushra adding that he did it over the phone in front of Tuba at her request.

    “Divorcing me is one thing, but doing it in front of Tuba on call at her request, was perhaps the most painful and traumatic thing for my children and I,” said Iqbal.

    “I rest my case to Allah,” she added.

    Liaquat and Bushra have two children together. The television host married for the second time in 2018.

    Earlier, Liaquat was engaged in a Twitter spat with his daughter Duaa Aamir, who called out Tuba for breaking her home.

    PM Imran refuses to accept Aamir Liaquat Hussain’s resignation

    Televangelist and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) lawmaker in the National Assembly, Aamir Liaquat Hussain, has claimed that Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan has rejected his resignation letter.

    “After a long meeting with PM Imran Khan, my four-page resignation was rejected. I opened my heart told the PM everything. The PM hailed my efforts for raising my voice for Karachi’s issues and said thinking about the public was the role of an elected leader,” he tweeted on Monday.

    Earlier in the day, Hussain had posted on social media that he was on his way to the PM House to submit his resignation.

    Last week, he had announced resigning as an MNA from Karachi over prolonged unannounced power outages in the port city.

    “I confess that I am a helpless MNA of Karachi. I am unable to provide electricity to the people of my city. I cannot see the people of my city suffer. I will ask the prime minister for time and submit my resignation,” he had said.

    A spike in power outages is spelling misery for a major chunk of the metropolis’ residents with some areas having interrupted electric supply for weeks now.

    This, however, is not the first time that the PTI MNA has been in the news for being upset at his party.

    In 2018, a month after the general election, reports had emerged of differences between Hussain and the PTI after he had expressed anger with the party over failure to invite him to a dinner hosted at the Governor’s House.

    According to reports, Liaquat left a WhatsApp group comprising PTI Sindh’s leaders over the issue.

    After announcing that Ilyas has won the game, Liaquat cheekily added that she should now get married.

    In response, Amna said, “Haan aap hee parhwayen gay nikkah (You will officiate the marriage).”

    When Liaquat asked Amna who her to-be husband is, Amna said that she’ll tell him in due time.

    From Aamir’s conversation, it was evident that he knew who Amna’s special someone is because he then asked, “Do you guys work together?” To this Amna said that they do. Amna also shared that their families are on board with everything.

    The model was also spotted sporting an engagement ring during her appearance on the show, though she kept switching it around her fingers.

    Meanwhile, it is being speculated that Amna’s to-be husband is photographer Ayaz Anis Khan. Amna has always been very low-key about her private life and does not share much about it. Her last film Baaji, in which she shared the screen with Meera and Osman Khalid Butt was a hit. She was set to be part of Haseena Moin’s stage play Ankahi, but due to the coronavirus lockdown, the play was postponed.

    Adnan Siddiqui has said that he regrets being on Aamir Liaquat’s show and has apologised to Sri Devi and Irrfan Khan’s family on behalf of the host.

    In a detailed note posted to social media, Adnan said, “I don’t know how to explain what I’m feeling right now or what to say. But this needs to go out.”

    He said that he was invited on Liaquat’s live chat show where the anchor joked how Adnan worked with Sri Devi and Irrfan Khan and both passed away.

    “You worked in Mom and Sri Devi died, you worked with Irrfan Khan as well and he passed away,” Liaquat had remarked on the show.

    He had further said, “You were offered roles in Mardaani 2 and Jism 2 but you declined, so the actors of those movies [Rani Mukherjee, Bipasha Basu] owe their life to you.”

    Adnan wrote, “The anchor joked about something extremely sensitive. Not only were they both close to me but also as a human, it was wrong on so many levels. I cannot even call it ‘hitting below the belt’.”

    Adnan stated that Liaquat comments were very callous and showed him and the country both in bad light. The actor then proceeded to apologise to the families of both the late actors. He said that he felt very uncomfortable with Liaquat’s comments and regrets being on the show.

    “I’ve learnt my lesson and I promise I will not tolerate such an act in future,” he added.

    Meanwhile, following the backlash on social media, Aamir Liaquat also issued an apology.

    “Sometimes you lose control over your words,” said Liaquat in a video. “That happens in a live show. At the time it didn’t seem like a big issue but later when I thought about it, I realised my comments were inappropriate. So I’m really sorry. Keeping humanity in mind, this should not have been said. I made a mistake.”

    He added that if he doesn’t want to hurt the people of his country and wants to apologise to all those who were hurt by his comments.

    Controversial televangelist and TV host Aamir Liaquat Hussain has made an insensitive comment about the death of Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan, who passed away in India on Wednesday.

    During a television programme, Liaquat, while speaking to Pakistani actor Adnan Siddiqui, commented on the Indian actor’s death in a way that made Siddiqui uncomfortable.

    Highlighting the career of the Pakistani actor, he said, “You worked in Mom and Sri Devi died, you worked with Irrfan Khan as well and he passed away.”

    “You were offered roles in Mardaani 2 and Jism 2 but you declined, so the actors of that movie owe their life to you,” he continued.

    Siddiqui, who was taken aback by Liaquat’s comment merely said that it was not something to joke about.

    Aamir Liaquat, who is not new to controversy, has landed in hot water for his statements time and again.

    IRRFAN KHAN’S DEATH:

    Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan left the world mourning after he breathed his last at age 53 on Wednesday.

    After the news of his death broke, Bollywood bigwigs stepped forth to extend their deepest condolences for the veteran actor who represented the Indian film fraternity in the West with films like Life of PiThe Namesake and Slumdog Millionaire. 

    He was admitted to Mumbai hospital on Tuesday after his health deteriorated.

    Irrfan was diagnosed with a neuroendocrine tumor in 2018 and had been undergoing treatment in Britain.

    He had returned to India after recovering and wrapping his last movie, Angrezi Medium. The movie was shot immediately after his round of cancer treatment ended.
