Amitabh Bachchan says ‘mistake’ inviting son Abhishek to KBC

Abhishek Bachchan and his legendary father Amitabh Bachchan are making waves together on screen, creating the kind of buzz that fans have been eagerly waiting for. In the latest promo of Kaun Banega Crorepati 16, the iconic father-son duo shared the spotlight as Abhishek promotes his upcoming film I Want to Talk.

Sony Entertainment Television shared a hilarious promo on Instagram, showing Amitabh second-guessing his decision to invite Abhishek to the show. The clip has gone viral, capturing Abhishek playfully mimicking his father’s iconic style of announcing prize amounts, especially when he screams “Seven crores” just like Amitabh Bachchan does. The funny and lighthearted moment has left fans in splits!

But that’s not the climax of fun. Abhishek reveals that whenever there is a question thrown in during dinner, children tend to mimic Amitabh as if imitating his loud and dramatic ways of speaking, which makes the conversation funny.

“We all sit together and eat, and when someone asks a question, all the kids together shout ‘7 crore’”, he narrated.

Amitabh Bachchan, clearly enjoying the banter, jokingly says, “Bohat bari galti karde innko yahan bula ke” (It was a mistake inviting him here).

Abhishek Bachchan is preparing for the release of his new film, I Want to Talk, which will release in cinemas on November 22, 2024.

Earlier, Amitabh Bachchan, the king of Bollywood, has shared some interesting advice for married couples on how to keep the romance alive.

For the past year, rumors of a divorce between his son, Abhishek and daughter-in-law Aishwarya have been circulating online, as the two have been seen attending events separately. Their silence on the matter also raised concerns.

However, a few days ago, a Times of India report claimed that Abhishek Bachchan gave an interview to Bollywood UK media, where he was asked about the persistent divorce rumors.

Abhishek responded, “I don’t have much to say in this regard. You guys just give a different spin to the news, which I understand.”

He then showed off his wedding ring and added, “See, I’m still married.”

On his show ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati,’ Amitabh offered advice to husbands and wives around the world for a happy married life.

A couple on the show mentioned that they had been married for 25 years and still loved each other deeply. They shared that they make short videos (reels) wherever they go.

Did Aishwarya secretly marry Salman after converting to Islam? Actress clears the air

Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai’s long affair with superstar Salman Khan before her marriage to Abhishek Bachchan, was an open secret in the industry.

Their relationship even reached the point of marriage, but in 2001, there was a rift between the pair.

In 2002, Aishwarya officially announced her separation from Salman by accusing him of many wrongdoings, but do you know that before these announcements, rumors swirled that Aishwarya and Salman had secretly married after Rai converted to Islam.

It was said that the wedding ceremony took place without the presence of both sets of parents, and that Aishwarya’s parents were unaware of their daughter’s marriage.

There were also claims that Aishwarya had converted to Islam to marry Salman Khan and that both went to New York for their honeymoon. This news reportedly affected Aishwarya’s career, with some producers who had cast her facing pressure and boycotting her.

Later, during a show, when Aishwarya was asked about her alleged marriage to Salman Khan, she patiently listened to the question before responding.
“The industry is a very small place. If something like this happens, the entire industry would be aware of it. I am not the type of person who would hide a marriage. I will announce it. It is ridiculous to speculate on when this marriage would have taken place.”

  • ‘Ludo’ is delightfully entertaining

    ‘Ludo’ is delightfully entertaining

Just when I thought I was done with Bollywood films for this year, given how terrible this year’s releases have been, Ludo popped up as I was scrolling through Netflix. The film had just released and was already trending in the top ten on Netflix Pakistan.

Featuring an ensemble cast of Pankaj Tripathi, Aditya Roy Kapur, Abhishek Bachchan, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Rajkummar Rao, Sanya Malhotra, Rohit Suresh Saraf and Pearle Maaney, Ludo is a tough film to describe considering the multiple storylines running side by side. On one hand, you have Akash (Kapur) and Shruti (Malhotra), who are trying to cover up a sex tape before Sanya gets married to the man of her dreams, while on the other you have Bittu (Bachchan), who just came out of jail and ends up running into a little girl who kidnapped herself so her parents would pay attention to her. Then you have Alu (Rao), who runs a restaurant and dances to Mithun’s disco moves when he is stressed. He deeply loves his childhood crush Pinky (Shaikh), though she is married with a baby.

    Akash and Shruti

On the surface, the characters have nothing to do with one another but their fates are all connected through Sattu Bhaiya (Pankaj) who is the resident gangster. As the leads try to sort out the problems in their lives, they end up getting entangled with one another in a very messy web controlled by Sattu Bhaiya. He manages to run everyone’s lives even while lying on a hospital bed.

    Sattu Bhaiya

Written and directed by Anurag Basu, Ludo is a highly entertaining and enthralling watch. It keeps you gripped with its twists and turns and has been masterfully directed. A movie like this, which has multiple plotlines and characters, each with a different, distinct story, running side by side, could have easily fallen apart. But Basu holds it all together skilfully.

Though it is slightly longer than average films these days, you will not feel yourself getting bored at any point – there is enough drama, comedy and romance to keep you hooked.

    Alu and Pinky

All the leads gave brilliant performances though it was Pankaj who blew me away with his acting and expressions. Despite being a gangster, you couldn’t help but like his character all because of how Tripathi brought it to life.

    Bittu

The cherry on top was the songs and background music, which perfectly complemented the theme and mood of the film. I have been listening to Aabaad Barbaad and Hardum Humdum on repeat.

While Ludo may not be a cinematic marvel or an extraordinary film, it makes a fun, cosy watch especially on a chilly winter evening.
