THIS Pakistani superstar is Dania Enwer’s father-in-law

Actress and Tamasha 3 contestant Dania Enwer has revealed that she is married to the son of a veteran actor.

Appearing as a guest on Mazaq Raat, the actress disclosed that she was married to Farhan Baig, the son of legendary actor Nadeem Baig.

During the show, Dania also openly shared her thoughts on love and her relationship with husband Farhan.

“I love him very much… now I know what love is,” she said.

The actress also candidly shared her thoughts on unrequited love. “One-sided love is useless. I experienced love twice in my life and both times I went ahead to express my feelings directly.”

“The first one didn’t work out while in the second one, I realised the true meaning of love,” she said while also hinting at her first marriage.

Earlier, in a morning show with Nida Yasir, Dania had opened up about her marriage and divorce.

“People say that divorce is easy, but when I got divorced, I realised that it was a difficult process for me,” she said, adding that she initially didn’t tell her family that she was going to end her marriage.

“But when they came to know about it, they supported me, saying that now I have made a decision and will stick to it.”

She added, “I got divorced for peace of mind and don’t regret any of my decisions.”

Talking about her ex-husband, she remarked, “Not only did I get peace from the divorce, but people around me also got peace. It would get better, but instead of getting better, things got worse.”

“My ex-husband was not addicted to drugs before marriage, but then gradually became addicted to drugs. He also subjected me to physical violence.”

“I think that drugs are just an excuse; even in drunkenness, what comes out of a person is what one is. It became difficult for me and the children, and then the house and the children were destroyed. The responsibility also fell on me because my first husband was not even earning, and when he needed money, he started beating me.”

Earlier, Dania Enwer’s video was getting a lot of attention on Instagram.

She posted the viral video on her Instagram, sharing her cheerful and lively side.

“You healed the wounds on the rollercoaster called ‘LIFE’,” the text on the Dania Enwer’s video read. “Sometimes it is better to just let things be. Don’t fight for closure. Don’t expect people to understand where you are coming from. You chose to heal. Instead of spreading pain. That’s strength.”

The rebound guy can be worse than the ones who broke your heart: Nimra Khan dishes out advice we need

Actress and model Nimra Khan, known for her outspoken views and resilience, shared her honest advice on rebound relationships when she appeared on ‘Mazaq Raat’ hosted by Imran Ashraf.

The host, Imran Ashraf, asked, “Doesn’t it often happen that a wound takes years to heal, only for someone to come along and make things worse with a new ‘nail’ or problem?”

Nimra Khan replied, “Rebounds are a mistake. When someone offers you a shoulder to cry on, it might seem comforting, but they can end up being worse than those who initially hurt you. I advise young girls to avoid taking the rebound route altogether.”

Nimra Khan advised young girls, “My advice, particularly to young women, is to avoid pursuing rebounds. These relationships often offer only temporary comfort and can complicate the healing process.”

Nimra Khan married Raja Azam, a police officer in London, on April 19, 2020, in Karachi. After being the victim of domestic abuse, Nimra Khan went through a challenging divorce. Her divorced husband marked a problematic phase in her life and was a reflection of her more significant challenges. In August 2021, she announced her divorce.

A few days ago, Nimra Khan shared details of a terrifying experience where she escaped a kidnapping attempt.

Nimra posted a video on her Instagram telling her followers,

“I am Muslim proudly, but I am sorry, being Pakistani, I don’t know what I should say.”

She began: “Assalamu Alaikum, the nation is still alive, right? However, the purpose of this video is not to praise this country. What happened to me yesterday was horrible; do you want your sister, daughter, or wife to experience the same fate? It is not safe to send any of your girls outside of Pakistan; I guarantee you that they are not safe here. You people understand that it is ridiculous to celebrate August 14th when girls are still unsafe in Pakistan.”

“Yesterday, I was standing near Ramada, waiting for my car, when the three men came and tried to kidnap me; they harassed me. I had a mobile and bag, and I was waiting for my family; it was raining, and those men held me at gunpoint and dragged me to their car, but no one heard me. I did my protection; I pushed him and started running. He had guns, and he could open fire on me. How can I say I am safe in this country where I pay taxes when I step in front of a passing car? The family and Ramada staff saved me. I see why people have guards with them now; we need guards, which is probably why so many people are moving abroad. I am not safe here, and I can hire guards with my tax money,” the Umme Ayesha actress added.

  • ‘The Notebook’ star Gena Rowlands dead at 94

‘The Notebook’ star Gena Rowlands dead at 94

Gena Rowlands, an award-winning US actress best known for starring in the films of her first husband, director John Cassavetes, died Wednesday at age 94, according to US media reports.

Rowlands died surrounded by family at her home in Indian Wells, California, US entertainment publication TMZ reported.

No official cause of death was immediately given, but Rowlands’s son Nick Cassavetes said in June she had suffered from Alzheimer’s disease for the past five years, according to the New York Times.

Rowlands starred in 10 films by John Cassavetes, and was married to him for nearly 35 years until his death in 1989.

Starting in the 1960s, the couple formed an enchanting and explosive on-screen partnership over three decades that explored themes of passion and self-destruction against a backdrop of alcohol and infidelity.

In what many consider her finest role, Rowlands captured to devastating effect the descent of a housewife into mental illness in “A Woman Under the Influence” (1974), bringing her the first of two Oscar nominations.

“Incapable of an unreal moment,” said Woody Allen of the actress, whom he cast in his 1988 film “Another Woman.”

“Whatever I say about Gena isn’t enough because she’s so incredible,” said Winona Ryder, quoted in the LA Times in 1992 when the two co-starred in Jim Jarmusch’s “Night on Earth.”

    – A storied career –

Rowlands was born on June 19, 1930, in Cambria, Wisconsin, into a cultured middle-class family. Her father was a state senator and her mother was a painter and occasional actress.

She enrolled in New York’s American Academy of Drama and in 1953 met Cassavetes, a fast-talking and exuberant Greek-American. A year later they were married.

It was their collaboration that generated her stand-out performances, the highlight arguably being “A Woman Under the Influence” which also brought an Oscar nomination for Cassavetes as director.

Rowlands was captivating as housewife Mabel who descends into madness after years of quiet, complicated dominance by her hardworking, silent husband, played by Peter Falk.

In 1989, Cassavetes died from liver failure after years of alcoholism. Rowlands continued to make films and also worked for television, winning four Emmys.

She and Cassavetes had three children, all of whom have gone on to work in film and television. Her son Nick directed her in “The Notebook” alongside Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams in 2004.

In 2012, she married retired businessman Robert Forrest and in 2015 was awarded an honorary Academy Award, the same year she retired from acting.

Ushna Shah has never shied away from speaking her mind, never allowing trolls to dictate anything to her. If social media creeps think they can troll her into changing who she is, they’ve got another thing coming.

On Wednesday Ushna posted a video of herself with the caption, “@livgolf_league was such a vibe! They’re really on to something. Got to watch some incredible golf, made some lovely friends & spectated elite #currypower ! ⛳”

In the video, the actress was seen wearing shorts, accompanied by her husband. The clip sparked a wave of trolling from social media judgemental users.

In response to the backlash, Ushna took to her X (formerly Twitter) account and defiantly wrote, “A girl from a liberal background, who grew up in Canada & wore shorts etc with her friends is now married to a white man who is from a similar background & doesn’t care if she shows her legs when they’re abroad..and her Pakistani audience looses their minds. ”

Refusing to give an inch to internet creeps, she said, “The biggest mistake I ever made was apologising for wearing a red choli on my wedding & dancing, to the same people who will drool over the Nargis Fakhris of the world (also Pakistani, also Muslim) but will annihilate us for having a liberal upbringing that differs from theirs. I’m in my “over it” era. Go watch some item numbers & keep searching for po*n, I’m too old to cater to your hypocrisy, I choose to live my life & be happy. ”

Many people have spoken out in favor of the actress and her right to dress however she prefers.
