Star singer Aima Baig and actor Shahbaz Shigri are officially engaged as they hosted a grand ceremony today.
The couple had confirmed their relationship in January 2020 after months of teasing fans. Shigri, in an Instagram post had revealed that Aima is indeed his “better half”.
Sharing a picture of himself and the singer in Los Angeles, Shigri had swooned over Baig’s smile adding that she is his “partner in crime, homie, companion and a whole bunch of other things which, if I began listing down, would turn up the cringe level to a million”.
Since then, the couple has often indulged in PDA and shared loving notes for each other.
Star singer Falak Shabir surprised his wife Sarah Khan with multiple flowers and a heart shaped gold necklace. The Alvida actress was elated and expressed her gratitude on her social media handles.
The venue was well decorated with pink balloons and décor oozing romance.
Earlier, during a Question and Answer session on Instagram a fan asked for an advice for ‘single girls’, to which Sarah replied, “Get you a man like Falak”.
Falak and Sarah are excited to celebrate their first wedding anniversary on July 16th. The duo intends to make their fans a part of their celebration and they have a surprise planned for them on the occasion of their marriage anniversary.

HUM TV launched the first two teasers of their much awaited magnum opus, Laa Pata starring Ayeza Khan, Sarah Khan, Ali Rehman Khan and Gohar Rasheed in lead roles. Superstar Mahira Khan is making a comeback to the medium of television after 5 years in this Farooq Rind directorial, co-starring Kubra Khan and Usman Mukhtar. Based on Umera Ahmed’s novel of the same title, this drama is apparently based around a dysfunctional family and sheds light on the impact of flawed parenting on children.
Actress Zainab Qayoom plays a pivotal role in the drama and also shared her excitement for the shooting spell.

Mikal Zulfiqar calls for a movement to pay actors for reruns after watching his hit drama serial Diyar-e-Dil being televised again.
“Actors should get paid for reruns. It’s unfair. Start a movement!,” the actor expressed his opinion.
Taking to Instagram stories, Zulfiqar shared a picture from one of the scenes of the drama and wrote: “Hum TV is airing Diyar-e-Dil for the umpteenth time.”
In another story, the actor said: “If only we got paid for reruns. would never have to work another day in life.”
Yasir Hussain also took to Instagram and wrote: “Shukar hai khuda ka kisi senior actor ne ye bat keh hi di. Mikaal Zulfiqar aap chah gaye hain.”
