    Bollywood actress Malaika Arora has released a statement on social media following her father’s suicide.

    In her statement on Instagram, Malaika Arora said, “We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our dear father, Anil Mehta. He was a gentle soul, a devoted grandfather, a loving husband, and our best friend. Our family is in deep shock by this loss, and we kindly request privacy from the media and well-wishers during this difficult time. We appreciate your understanding, support, and respect.”

    Malaika Arora’s father Anil Arora committed suicide by jumping from the roof of a building yesterday in the Bandra area of Mumbai.

    According to media reports, after the accident, the police reached the spot and took the body into custody. A reason for the suicide is yet to be determined.

    It is being told that when Anil Arora committed suicide, Malaika was not present in her father’s house.

    Bollywood actress and model Malaika Arora’s father Anil Arora committed suicide by jumping from the terrace of the sixth floor of the building. The incident occurred at around 10:30 am on 11 September, Wednesday at his home in Bandra.

    According to media reports, police reached the spot and recovered the body, initiating an investigation into the suicide.

    DCP Crime Branch Raj Tilak Roshan shared the latest update, saying, “We are conducting a thorough investigation and our team, along with forensic experts, is actively involved in the process.”

    After the news of Malaika Arora’s father’s demise, her close friends and other Bollywood celebrities have gathered to offer their support and condolence to her.

    Arbaaz Khan, Malaika’s ex-husband, also arrived at the Arora parents’ home. His father Salim Khan, his wife, and his son Sohail Khan also arrived to offer condolences.
