India’s veteran off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin can’t forget Boom Boom Shahid Afridi’s two sixes in Asia Cup 2014 even after nine years.
In March 2014, during an all-important match of the Asia Cup played in Bangladesh, Pakistan defeated India after a sensational match. Former captain of the Pakistan cricket team, Shahid Afridi, played an electrifying innings of 34 runs off 18 balls, grabbing victory away from India.
An X user reminded Ashwin of Shahid Afridi’s sixes and wrote that the two sixes are still remembered today.
