  • Meray Paas Tum Ho twist: Will Mehwish ask Danish to take her back?

Well, obviously, with the entry of Shahwar’s (Adnan Siddiqui) wife, Maham (Savera Nadeem) Shahwar and Mehwish (Ayeza Khan) were not going to get married. Maham enters the scene, sends the moulvi sahib packing, Shahwar to jail and kicks Mehwish out of the house. Her role is complete. She has taken back her money, dismissed her dirtbag husband and gotten rid of the woman he was having an affair with.

    Maham takes control

    All in one episode.

Oh, and Danish (Humayun Saeed) tells Hania (Hira Mani) that his son Roomi, wants him to marry her. So that’s out in the open now too.

Hania finds out that Roomi wants her to marry his father

Mehwish after getting thrown out of Maham’s house, goes back to her old home, realizing what she has lost. She wanders around, homeless and unsure about what to do. She goes to see her son at school, who meets her nicely, but tells her that he can’t tell his friends she’s his mother.

She meets her son in school who tells her that he doesn’t want her coming around. He’ll talk to her on the phone

She goes to meet Shahwar in jail who tells her to leave, because Maham would have a fit if she found out. All those promises, gone. He says to her that they had a good time when they were together. Mehwish can’t believe it. Her life as she knows it, is over.

Shahwar, yelling for the guards to take away this woman he doesn’t know

Adnan Siddiqui does a brilliant job in this episode of being the totally disengaged, uninterested, in-it-for-the-good-times guy we all knew he was. He looks through Mehwish like she is nothing – at one point screaming for the police to take her away. He says he doesn’t know who she is – and for a minute you might think, has he gone mad? No, he is just making sure he gets out of jail and Mehwish, means absolutely nothing to him anymore.

Mehwish ends up in a park, crying on a bench. In a very strange scene, a little girl tells her mother that look, that lady (Mehwish) is crying just like you. Who this lady is and why she’s crying, no one knows.

Girl watches Mehwish cry in the park

The only plausible reason to keep this scene in the episode is to show that Mehwish, the once rich and almost married beauty is now worse off than someone sitting in a bench on a park, crying. So realistic is the scene, that one realizes that Mehwish, who always had perfectly manicured nails in the series, now has broken, dirty ones. The attention to detail in this drama is intensely perfect.

Danish goes on to partner with his friend in his stock market firm and obviously is going to end up making a lot of money, that also because he bought shares in Shahwar’s company (oh the irony).

Mehwish is going to want Danish back. The teaser for episode 19 proves as much. And in a deep twist, the roles of Shahwar and Maham come to an end. Now comes the face off between Mehwish and Hania for Danish.

Danish’s face in the teaser when he realizes that Mehwish has called him, crying

Hania will most likely not back down, and Mehwish will want the love that she lost. But who will Danish choose? The women he loved with all his heart, who broke it but is still the mother of his child? Or the girl who would most likely never do him wrong, will cherish him, but is in fact, terribly boring? In this delicious episode the series takes a twist. And it will now all be about who is team Mehwish and who is team Hania.

Demand for Ayeza Khan’s nikkah dress from ‘Meray Paas Tum Ho’ skyrockets after iconic scene

Meray Paas Tum Ho is the biggest drama on air these days. Each episode receives millions of views within hours of being uploaded on Youtube and sparks debate on almost all social media channels.

The latest episode saw Mehwish and Shehwar finally about the tie the knot when Shehwar’s first wife, Maham, played by Savera Nadeem slaps a dramatic entry.

While the slap itself created waves, turns out Ayeza’s ivory and hot pink outfit, by designer Zainab Chottani also was a big hit.

According to Samaa News, the designer has been receiving tonnes of queries about the dress, which has already become a bestseller.

“I have received an influx of queries about the bridal dress,” the designer said, adding, “Since we are overbooked till April 2020, people are pre-booking the same dress for their weddings in June and July.”

Speaking about how the outfit ended up in the scene, Zainab shared: “They wanted to shoot the pre-wedding sequel in our studio when Mehwish goes for wedding shopping. Later they borrowed the dress for the scene.”

There was a even a bit of argument over the price of the dress – while the designers insisted on quoting Rs 3 lakhs, Chottani refused, saying it was too low a price for the Rs 795,000 (7 lakhs 95 thousand). The two then agreed to mention Rs 6 and a half lakhs.

Meray Paas Tum Ho has been directed by Nadeem Baig and written by Khalil ur Rahman Qamar. The drama also starrers Humayun Saeed, Adnan Siddiqui and Hira Mani.

Ayeza Khan sets the internet on fire with her latest shoot

If Ayeza Khan stealing our hearts and setting our TV screens on fire as Mehwish in Meray Paas Tum Ho was not enough, the actor decided to raise the hotness bar further up.

Ayeza’s latest shoot with husband Danish Taimoor has gone viral and that’s honestly no surprise given the pictures.

    Check them out below.

  • Five million views in 12 hours, Meray Paas Tum Ho’s new entry slaps a hit episode

The moment we were all waiting for. There were rumours that Kubra Khan was going to play Shehwar’s (Adnan Siddiqui) wife who he has a terrible marriage with, but the episode ends with the entry of Maham, Shehwar’s domineering wife played perfectly by Savera Nadeem. Maham, a towering figure enters the episode and slaps Mehwish (Ayeza Khan) as she introduces herself to her about-to-become sautan.

Maham’s entry has Anushay hiding in the corner

The episode does have some difficult to understand situations. How did Shehwar suddenly decide to marry Mehwish after he had so adamantly said that marriage ruined love? There’s no explanation about his change of heart. And why is Roomi, Danish’s son, so fixated on getting his father married to Hania (Hira Mani)? The obsession stems from the fact that Danish obviously doesn’t want to get married and he will marry Hania because his son wants him to. Otherwise he wouldn’t be the true lover of love that he has been projected to be so far.

Roomi trying for the hundredth time to get Hania to get his father to marry ‘another girl’. How she doesn’t know yet, that the girl is her, is very strange

There’s also the concept of fake and real friends that plays into this episode. Danish is lucky to have a friend who is helping him with his work, staff that is helping him with his life. His life has literally changed in days and as he says to his friend, “log jubh aapse subh kuch cheen layte hain tou khush hojao, kyuinke Khuda tumhe sub kuch deyne wala hai,” (when people take everything from you, be happy. Because God is about to give you everything) and it seems like Danish is about to get everything.

Danish and Roomi are happy with each other and getting loads of money

But Mehwish is made of some strong stuff too. She doesn’t look or feel embarrassed when her friend Anoushey asks her about leaving her husband and child to have an affair with a married man. She takes it in stride and doesn’t pay any attention to the rumours (that are bound to be true) about Shehwar having forged his wife’s signatures and living in a house in her name.

Mehwish doesn’t care at all about what people think of her

Maham will take over the next episode and it’s going to be a brilliant one. With the already strong presence that Savera Nadeem exudes, she is the perfect person to play a woman who is not to be messed with. The only character that is still very weak is that of Hania. Hira Mani is playing the role like a dheemi beychari and compared to the other strong female characters, she’s coming across as not having a clue. Here’s to hoping that the writer didn’t have a beychari in mind for Danish and Hania develops into a character strong enough to take on the memory of Mehwish.

  • Meray Paas Tum Ho: Kya abh shaadi honay wali hai?

Episode 16 isn’t coming slow and the teaser for Episode 17 has a lot more to promise.

Danish (Humayun Saeed) after his hero act of beating up and threatening villian Shehwar (Adnan Siddiqui) has found a new love for being rash. The episode starts off with Danish hanging out with his son Rumi and it’s really hearwarming to see how their father son realtionship is blooming. It seems like their relationship has changed for the better since Mehwish (Ayeza Khan) left.

    Father son love

Wedding is in the air for Danish as well as his son Rumi announces that Hania (Hira Mani) is the best girl for Danish and works on getting the both together till the end of the episode. What this loosely suggests is that Hania and Danish will most likely get married because it is the cute thing to do.

Hania and Danish might get together while Mehwish’s plans keep getting delayed

Shehwar on the other hand is pissed off at Danish and feels kinf if onsulted at being beat up so badly. He tells Mehwish to go sort out her son’s issues herself and meanwhile finds out that his company is getting bankrupt and its shares have badly fallen.

Rash Danish finds out that Shehwar’s company is in a temporary crisis and decides to invest all the lakhs he made for selling his house to buying shares in Shehwar’s company (which obviously means that he will take over Shehwar’s company one day). He also gets a really nice looking place on rent and decides to live a little.

    townhouse for sale/rent

The fast paced episode is the perfect lead in to the teaser for Episode 17. Mehwish and Shehwar are getting married, it seems, and there’s a knock on Mehwish’s room door and we are willing to bet it’s Shehwar’s wife. Now thats what we are all waiting for.

  • Danish in hardcore action in Meray Paas Tum Ho’s latest episode

Danish in hardcore action in Meray Paas Tum Ho’s latest episode

YES. Seems like its finally time to see Danish (Humayun Saeed) stand up for himself and fans of the drama are loving it. Episode 15 promises that the future of the drama isn’t going to be with weak and sad little Danish but someone who is ready to be strong, for the sake of his son.

Mehwish (Ayeza Khan) is adamant to take her son with her and Shehwar will go to any lengths (for now) to make her happy. Shehwar calls Danish and tells him to make sure that Mehwish meets her son in three days or else.

Shehwar doesn’t know what’s coming when he tells Danish to get Rumi to meet his mother

Danish, scared that Shehwar and Mehwish will take his son away because they are rich and powerful, tries to convince his son Rumi to meet his mother.

Rumi looking at his dad as Danish tries to convince him to meet his mother

Rumi looks at his father and says, “you are not my strength, you are my weakness,” which could mean two things: he will do anything for his father or he believes that his father is not strong enough to take a stand against his mother and her lover. Danish believes its the latter and finally gets the courage to stand up to Shehwar.

The slap we have all been waiting for

He barges into Shehwar’s office and grabs him by the collar, threatening him against physical harm if he ever comes near his son or tries to take his son away. Shehwar’s employees watch the whole thing and one thing is obvious – money cannot buy courage.

Finally, finally, we see Danish as the hero. A man who didn’t stand up for his wife (not that what she did was worth standing up for) but as a father, he realizes that his strength is his child and he won’t let anyone take that away.

He speaks to Rumi on the phone before he goes to warn Shehwar and tells him that Rumi doesn’t need to meet his mother if he doesn’t want to and that he, Danish, really is his son’s strength.

Shehwar realizing the game has changed when Danish throws his rich and powerful behind on the table

The strength isn’t about physical strength at all but it is about standing up against being bullied and bullies is exactly what Mehwish and Shehwar are. Danish has sold his apartment as well and is about to start his business and with his newfound strength, he is bound to be successful. What is so riveting about this drama is that it is no longer going to be about the love of a woman but the love of family and children. And one has to give it to Rumi (Shees Sajjad Gul) for his fantastic acting in this episode. The way he cries, silently, in his bed, while the scenes change between a deliriously happy mother and her lover and a lost father, reflects brilliant acting. We actually feel for him.

    Fantastic acting by Rumi

Mehwish tells Shehwar in one of the scenes that Danish will give into anything because he is a coward. After last night’s episode one thing is for sure. He’s not going to give up on his son – come what may.

  • You will not believe how many hours Ayeza Khan sleeps

You will not believe how many hours Ayeza Khan sleeps

Not that we didn’t know but it is not easy being Ayeza Khan.

Ayeza, who is blowing everyone away with her phenomenal performance as Mehwish in Meray Paas Tum Ho, is a recent Instagram post gave her fans an insight into what her daily routine looks like and we have to say we’re very impressed.

The actor revealed that she wakes up at 7 am and gets her daughter Hoorain ready for school. After dropping her off to school, she comes home and wakes up her younger one Rayyan and feeds him before dropping him off at her mother’s house. She then has breakfast with her husband Danish Taimoor after which she leaves for work.

Ayeza & Danish with their children

Ayeza shared that she monitors her kids activities all day on the phone and even tries to go home in between shoots whenever she can. Her evenings are spent “feeding, bathing, choosing the princess or batman night-suit every night and listening to Hoorain’s bedtime stories.”

The final part of her day is dedicated to a “dinner date with my favorite person [Danish]” before finally hitting the bed at 3 am.

The next morning she’s up at 7 am again. How she manages to survive on only four hours of sleep is beyond us.

Ending her note, Ayeza said that though the routine gets “difficult to manage,” the amount of love she has received from her fans “has made me the super woman and given me the power to work, to dream and to make all of you proud.”

Meanwhile when a fan asked her how she manages to stay fit with such a tough routine, Ayeza replied,”Wait for the next post.”

  • Meray Paas Tum Ho is a drama which has never been done before

We assumed it was going to be a drama about love, betrayal and revenge. But Episode 13 shows it’s a lot more than that. Meray Paas Tum Ho is slowly building into a drama about child custody and the battle between being a wife or a lover.

Mehwish (Ayeza Khan) is slowly realizing that she’s missing her son Rumi, as the high of divorcing her husband for a rich guy is wearing off. She asks Shehwar (Adnan Siddiqui) if she can bring her son home and Shehwar agrees.

Shehwar telling Ayeza he’s cool with her bringing her son to his place

Danish (Humayun Saeed) is mourning the loss of his best friend Mateen Sahib and when Mehwish goes over to speak to him about Rumi, Danish tells her that he’s put Rumi in boarding school. He also tells her that she shouldn’t upset him or do anything drastic since Rumi has just settled in and had almost been expelled. Mehwish doesn’t listen and heads to the school to take her son home, only to find out that she needs Danish’s permission to take her son out of school.

Mehwish confronting Danish about taking her son with her

The most interesting part of the drama was when Danish consults his lawyer and the lawyer tells him to wait it out saying that no man would want his lover to bring home her ex husband’s son. And at the end of the episode, that’s exactly what happens. Shehwar tells Mehwish that her desire to have Rumi with her on the weekends isn’t one that he’s willing to indulge. He gets the weekends off and he wants her around for him – not have to deal with her former husband’s child.

Shehwar telling Mehwish he wants the weekends with her

The episode is the most realistic episode in the show yet. A custody battle, harsh truths and the dark face of reality are revealed – your lover is only your lover until you do what he or she says. When you make a decision based on greed, then it will come back to bite you and you can see the ripples of uncertainty that are affecting Mehwish.

Also, where is Shehwar’s wife? Mehwish is living in his house like she owns it and there is no sign of the real lady of the house. There should definitely be an introduction to his wife when she comes back to town and that will be an episode which cannot be missed.

  • Meray Pass Tum Ho EP 13: Predictable or more to it?

All the theories we all had after EP 12 have gone down the drain. No one thought “a few months later” Danish (Humayun Saeed) will be pining for his ex-wife Mehwish (Ayeza Khan) and putting his kid Rumi in boarding school. All everyone talked about was how it seemed obvious that Shehwar’s (Adnan Siddiqui) wife would come back and ruin Shehwar and Mehwish’s plan to get married for a happily every after.

Mehwish and Shehwar returning to Pakistan after spending a few months abroad

Wrong. Although Mehwish is looking super beautiful, and surprisingly more relaxed, in this episode, the do takey ka aadmi Shehwar is not interested in marrying the do take ki aurat. In a dialogue that’s bound to become popular Shehwar tells Mehwish that Shaadiyon mai divorce ho sakti hai lekin muhabbat mai divorce nahi hoti.

READ MORE: Meray Pass Tum Ho EP 12: Danish sweeps the show

Mehwish has travelled all over Europe and has the travel glow

Danish on the other hand, has gotten a promotion and has become besties with Mateen sahib, the older guy who works with him and had cheated on his wife and lives in utter regret of that. Danish has put his son in boarding school and is called by the principal for a meeting. He is told that Rumi is a terrible student and in walks Hania (Hira Mani) who is Rumi’s teacher.

Hira Mani makes her entry in the drama as Rumi’s teacher

She complains to Danish about how terrible a student Rumi is and how he needs to take his kid out of school. Danish asks for one last chance and they agree.

In the end of the episode we see Danish meeting with Mateen sahib to tell him that he’s planning to become a very rich businessman. Mateen sahib tells him his sob story again (in some very pretty dialogues) and then has a heart attack and is taken to the hospital.

Danish and Mateen sahib’s heart to heart

Danish calls his daughter and finds out that surprise surprise, Hania is his best friend’s daughter and when she walks in the hospital, she and Danish find out her father has died.

Hania finds out her father has died

Ok so, what will happen next? Danish will have to marry Hania and find love again (and become a rich businessman because of course, he has to) and Mehwish will realize that Shehwar will never marry her and she will always be the side wali.

That’s it? Predictable and boring, here’s to hoping that this won’t happen although all the signs point to the fact that this is the most obvious route the drama will take.

Hira Mani is a good actress and did a good job portraying a daughter who has just lost her father. But she lacks expression and comes across as a rather boring figure. Earlier, in .a behind the scenes interview, she spoke about her role in the drama and said, “[my role is]In fact it’s very similar to how I am in my life, a soft hearted girl. H for Hira and H for Hania, you’ll like this character very much”.

She will really have to take her acting up a notch for her role to become a prominent one and to take the drama out of the boring path it is about to take.

  • Meray Pass Tum Ho’s next episode promises…nothing?

Meray Pass Tum Ho’s next episode promises…nothing?

“Do take ki aurat,” has taken over social media and the Pakistani meme world. The episode was one of the biggest searches on Google yesterday, with people asking what will happen next.

    Meme doing the rounds

ARY uploaded a ‘coming up next’ for episode 13 but it doesn’t say much….at all. The teaser shows Danish (Humayun Saeed) remembering Mehwish (Ayeza Khan) and her walking with Shehwar (Adnan Siddiqui).

READ MORE: Passive-Aggressive Danish sweeps in one of the fastest episode in Pak Drama History

A lot of the shots look as if we have seen them in previous episodes, so here’s to hoping its not one of those ‘remembering’ episodes where Danish and Mehwish are sitting, reminiscing about the past. Boring. Especially after such a big high in episode 12.
