    Supermodel Sabeeka Imam has questioned Azaan Sami Khan’s casting in drama seriel Ishq-e-Laa co-starring Sajal Aly and Yumna Zaidi.

    “So it seems like you need zero onscreen acting experience and you could also debut with both the AMAZING Yumna and Sajal,” she wrote.

    “Mujhe bhi itni hi achi LUCK chahiye where I don’t have to earn it or prove myself first & it just gets handed to me on a plate,” she added.

    Sabeeka after recieving the criticism on her tweet said, “Aap log humein bura bhala kahen to woh sab theek hai lekin main as an artist koi opinion doon to main “jealous”? Salman Khan ki baat sach hai… “main karoon to saala character dheela hai.”

    Earlier actor Muneeb Butt also claimed that he thinks, Azaan is a product of nepotism.

    It is pertinent to mention here that Azaan Sami Khan will make his acting debut alongside Yumna Zaidi and Sajal Aly in Ishq-E-Laa. Directed by Amin Iqbal, the script is penned by the veteran writer, Qaisera Hayat of Alif Allah Aur Insaan fame.

    Director Amin Iqbal has shared a picture with Sajal Aly from sets of his upcoming drama Ishq-e-Laa saying, “This is the best ever selfie taken by Sajal Aly.”

    “No filters, just the purity of the moment. This moment will remain with us forever,” added the Dushman E Jaan director Amin Iqbal .

    He concluded by thanking Sajal followed by a black heart emoji.

    Director Amin Iqbal has managed to pull off a casting coup by getting on-board a stellar cast in his upcoming biggie, Powerhouse performers Sajal and Yumna are the leading ladies of this ambitious project, penned by the veteran writer, Qaisera Hayat of Alif Allah Aur Insaan fame. It features debutant Azaan as the leading hero, along with Adnan Samad Khan of Ehd-e-Wafa fame.

    Bushra Ansari has hit back at trolls who criticised the veteran actress for dancing at the pre-wedding ceremony of Shahmir Shunaid, the grandson of Sultana Siddiqui.

    The veteran actress took to Instagram to share her response on the backlash from netizens. “I was in a deep grief from last 3 months and that loss is going to be in our hearts till our last breathe. Two days ago it was a family dholki and all my friends were there insisting me to get out of the stress and my sadness.”

    The Mera Naseeb actress added, “But sad to see people’s reaction, they just want to see us unhappy because we are famous and specially when somebody is over a certain age, how pathetic. I am telling you this is the best age to enjoy life when you are done with all your duties and Alhamdullillah I have achieved so much in this age I don’t have any regrets if I am over 60”.

    She continued by mentioning, “So this is a cheap weapon of telling elders that you are old and you have no right to be happy, why not ? I don’t understand why young kids feel insecure of older people,” the actress stated further. I m not answerable to any faceless troll because they never leave any one even after wearing hijab, so stop hurting people it’s also not allowed in Islam.”

    Ushna Shah has come forward in support of the industry veteran.
