Bismil Episode 30 shocks fans with one heartbreaking demise

Bismil, a popular drama on ARY Digital, is earning widespread praise for its compelling storyline and talented cast. Written by Zanjabeel Asim Shah and directed by Aehsun Talish, the show is produced by Idream Entertainment.

The story revolves around Tauqeer Taseer, who falls in love with and marries a greedy girl.

The cast includes big names like Nauman Ijaz, Savera Nadeem, Hareem Farooq, Saad Qureshi, Behroze Sabzwari, Shaheen Khan, and Adnan Jillani.

Yesterday, the highly anticipated 30th episode aired, depicting Moosa’s tragic suicide after being rejected by his fiancée Momal. The heartbreaking scene where Moosa shot himself in his room left fans in tears. The show’s creators could have shown a suicide attempt without Moosa dying, many fans opined.

I believe Tauqeer is partly responsible for Moosa’s suicide because he kept distancing himself from his son, despite Moosa’s efforts to connect. After Momal’s rejection, Moosa lost all hope.

Men who marry at an older age should realize the emotional and mental stress their children might face due to their actions. Momal’s parents and Masooma also made things worse for Moosa. I cried during all the scenes with Reham, beautifully portrayed by Savera Nadeem. The performances of Saad Qureshi, Savera Nadeem, and Nauman Ijaz in the emotional sequences were outstanding.

Additionally, viewers were particularly captivated by the pairing of Hareem Farooq and Nauman Ijaz, despite the storyline not being exceptionally unique. The drama kept everyone’s attention because of the anticipation about Tauqeer’s decisions and their impact on his family. It is worth noting that Tauqeer’s family was a happy one, and there seemed to be no need for him to marry again, especially knowing how sensitive his son was. Moosa had even warned that he would shoot himself if such a thing happened.

Masooma’s character, portrayed as a gold digger, added to the drama’s complexity, as she did not truly love Tauqeer. The depiction of suicide without a trigger warning was another point of concern for the viewers, considering the drama airs at 8 PM when many viewers are watching. The scene where Moosa shot himself and the subsequent display of blood were particularly sensitive.

Reflecting on Moosa’s fiancée, I noted that her father made the right decision by not marrying her to Moosa, as his sensitivity would have made a life together challenging. The most sympathy was expressed for Reham, who lost both her son and husband due to Tauqeer’s poor decision-making.

I also noticed some editing inconsistencies, particularly during the scene when Masooma arrives at Moosa’s funeral. She appeared overly dressed and made-up initially, but shortly after, her dupatta appeared and her makeup vanished.

Additionally, she was shown to be highly traumatized, even though she had previously stated that if there was one death in their family, there would be another on the other side as well. This seemed to be an attempt by the writers to show her as empathetic, which didn’t quite fit her character.

In conclusion, while Bismil captured the audience with its strong performances and emotional depth, it also sparked discussions about sensitive issues and the consequences of impulsive decisions.

Hareem Farooq opens up about battle with psoriasis

What happens when a celebrated actress faces a skin disease while shooting a role that demands beauty and perfection? Actress and producer Hareem Farooq’s journey in Bismil reveals not just her character’s complexities, but also her own personal battle with psoriasis.

In a recent interview with BCC Urdu, she discussed her role in the drama.

“I developed a skin condition called ‘Psoriasis’ during the shoot which caused red spots to appear on my face and other part of my body. The scars on my face may not look appealing to everyone, but they will encourage others who suffer from the same condition,” she said.

Psoriasis is a condition where the skin cells grow too quickly, causing red, scaly patches on the skin.

When asked about her physical transformation, the 22 Qadam actress shared that she initially considered losing weight before shooting Bismil.

“Before shooting started, I was going through a difficult phase in my life, which caused me to gain weight. I thought about losing it but eventually gave up. I had the option to delay the shoot by months, but I chose not to, I decided to shoot with the weight I had,” Hareem Farooq stated.

When asked about her work in the industry, Hareem explained, “Pakistan doesn’t have a film industry, so the same actors work in both films and dramas. All the other Pakistan actors, including me, work in films out of passion. If the country had a film industry, we won’t have to work in dramas.”

Earlier, in a recent interview with Something haute hosted by Hassan Choudhary, Hareem Farooq talked about her role in Bismil.

Hareem Farooq said, “When I first discussed the role of ‘Masooma’ in Bismil, my primary focus was to align it with the director’s vision. I always asked the director [Aehsun Talish], ‘How do you see this character?’ I wanted to ensure we were on the same page.”

“The director described Masooma as someone who acts out of innocence, not malice. This resonated with me because I believe people are rarely inherently evil. Their experiences shape their actions. Masooma’s impulsive decisions reflect innocence… where she doesn’t consider long-term consequences… a characteristic I find relatable in real life,” the Bismil actress explained.

Talking about Masooma’s intentions, Hareem shared, “I wouldn’t call her a gold digger because it wasn’t just about money. She was also running after security, wanting power, wanting change in her life. She wanted that lifestyle for herself. It’s a very selfish manner, but she cared about securing her future. Once she has something in her grasp, she won’t let go. I think Masooma’s relationship with TT [Nauman Ijaz] is more than just that of a gold digger… she is a selfish person, but not just running after money.

Here’s why Hareem Farooq couldn’t refuse Bismil’s ‘Masooma’

Actress Hareem Farooq couldn’t resist playing the role of Masooma in drama serial ‘Bismil’ and here why.

Appearing on Something haute hosted by Hassan Choudhary she talked about her role in Bismil.

“When I first discussed the role of ‘Masooma’ in Bismil, my primary focus was to align it with the director’s vision. I always asked the director [Aehsun Talish], ‘How do you see this character?’ I wanted to ensure we were on the same page.”

Talking about Masooma’s intentions, Hareem shared, “I wouldn’t call her a gold digger because it wasn’t just about money. I think Masooma’s relationship with TT [Naumaan Ijaz] is more than just that of a gold digger… she is a selfish person, but not just running after money.”

A scene from a recent episode had viewers questioning Masooma’s confidence. When asked about it, Hareem said, “She had the confidence, which she had before, but now it was more about believing she could marry a business tycoon. It seemed like she thought, ‘If I marry a business tycoon, I’ve made it.’ It was a display of confidence that, in a way, was also a mix of ignorance and stupidity.”

The 22 Qadam actress went on to describe how Masoom’s newfound belief in her invincibility led her to think that. “I know I’ve married a business tycoon, and now I’m untouchable.”

She also said that the ending of Bismil will leave viewers with a powerful lesson.

“Wait for the end of Bismil, it’s going to teach a huge lesson to a lot of people.”

She also talked about how the story was relatable for people. “I was shocked how it was the story of almost every household. I can’t even begin to tell you how many people in my circle opened up to me. They said, ‘You know, as kids, as wives, and as husbands, we’ve been through the same thing.’ It’s not something that’s uncommon. It’s very common. But the sad part is that betrayal is very common.”
