A major report in Indian media has unveiled that Bollywood actor Salman Khan rejected the blockbuster film Chak De India to not upset his fans in Pakistan.
Later the film was offered to Shah Rukh Khan in 2007 and the film turned out to be a huge blockbuster. During his interview with The Indian Express, he said that he does not regret not doing the film.
It’s no secret that Shah Rukh Khan’s 2007 hit Chak De! India was first offered to Salman Khan, however, what many might not know is that Salman rejected the film to safeguard his Pakistani fans’ feelings. Talking to The Indian Express in 2007 about the film which went on to become a major hit for SRK and filmmaker Aditya Chopra, the Dabangg actor said, “I don’t regret not doing the film but I agree that my judgement about it was wrong.”
The Ek Tha Tiger hero went on to list two reasons based on which he had rejected the film at the time.
“I had a problem with the climax. My reasoning was that if you lose to Pakistan then you also have to win with Pakistan. I also had a problem with the title. I wish they hadn’t added India to the title. I felt our fans in Pakistan and Bangladesh might feel bad.”
Chak De! India starred SRK as a disgraced hockey player who goes on to coach the Indian women’s hockey team to a world cup victory.

During an interview on the Call Her Daddy podcast in August 2020, she opened up about losing her v*rginity and lying about it to Liam Hemsworth. The Midnight Sky singer said, “I was 16. It wasn’t Nick Jonas (who I lost my virginity to).” She added, “But I ended up marrying the guy, so that’s pretty crazy.” In other words, the Disney alum revealed that she lost her V-Card to Hemsworth.
Talking about why she lied to Liam Hemsworth about losing her innocence and implying that she had already had s*x, Miley Cyrus said, “I lied and said that he wasn’t the first so I didn’t seem like a loser.” She added, “He said, ‘Oh, who have you had sex with?’ And I couldn’t think of anyone, so I just made somebody up that I knew but we had never actually had sex before.”
The actress-singer then revealed that years later she found herself caught in the lie and had to confess the truth. She said, “[Liam’s] friend ended up marrying him, and then it was like, ‘Oh now my friend is marrying someone you’ve hooked up with?’So then when I was, like, 24, I had to say that I lied when I was 16. It was a lie that I held onto for, like, 10 years.”

The actor is recently in news for his latest release Radhe Shyam, which also stars Pooja Hedge in the lead role. As per the online reports, one of Prabhas fans has committed suicide because of the actor’s latest film.
According to media reports, Prabhas’ 24-year-old fan Ravi Teja took the extreme step after reading negative reviews about the film. Other reports also suggested that after watching the film, he returned home disappointed and hung himself to the ceiling fan. It is begin said that Ravi Teja was heartbroken as Radhe Shyam didn’t live up to his expectations.
Informing about the same, a user wrote on Twitter, “#Prabhas Fan Commits Suicide. Fans are deeply disappointed with a negative talk for #RadheShyam. The suicide of Prabhas’s fan has shocked everyone. Ravi Teja is a big fan of Prabhas. He was very upset with the mixed result. He committed suicide by hanging himself from a ceiling fan.”
Reportedly, the incident has been reported to the police and they are already investigating the matter.
Speaking about Radhe Shyam, the Radha Krishna Kumar directorial has garnered bad reviews for its weak plot. Apart from Prabhas and Pooja, the film co-stars Murali Sharma, Sachin Khedekar, Priyadarshi, Kunaal Roy Kapoor, Sathyan, Jayaram, and Sasha Chettri in the key roles. Radhe Shyam is dubbed in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada.
After raising the excitement with its posters and songs, Radhe Shyam is doing below average in South India but has miserably failed to rule the Hindi box office.
Model and actress Amna Ilyas turned to her Instagram a few days back and posted a portrait of herself all glammed up in a black outfit with a beverage in her hand and took her bluntness to another level with a bold caption.

The songs from the film are still very much fresh in our minds as they simply refuse to age. If you ask someone to share their favourite dialogues from the movie, they will reply without skipping a beat. Though it’s hard to choose one, as there are many iconic dialogues in the movie.

Without a doubt, Hum Aapke Hain Kaun will always be a romantic comedy that 90’s kids will associate with our childhood and Sooraj Barjatya, who has always endorsed love in his films. The chemistry between Nisha (Madhuri Dixit) and Prem (Salman Khan) was loved by many. Their love boomed in a family setup and like every clichéd love story, they saw some obstacles but lived happily ever after. From entertaining dance numbers like Didi Tera Devar Deewana and Joote Do Paise Lo to sad ones like Mujhse Juda Hokar, the movie had songs for every mood.
Dil To Pagal Hai
Dil To Pagal Hai made us all think that someone, somewhere, is made for us. It was a film full of dancing, drama, romance, and some of the most iconic songs that we still sing today. Shah Rukh Khan was India’s favourite loverboy at the time, who made us fall in love with him again with his character. The movie was relatable for many people as it discussed the character of Nisha (Karishma Kapoor) whose love isn’t reciprocated, and Nisha too wonders if she’s so bad that her friend is not loving her back. The scene that was loved by many was how his friend Rahul apologised to her for not loving her back and did everything to comfort her. It’s quite rare to see one-sided love treated with such delicacy, which is the reason this movie is still fresh in our memories.
Dil Se
The movie was full of endearingly romantic moments. The movie taught 90’s kids to confess their feelings before it’s too late and when it comes to matters of the heart, one should not wait for the moment. The film does not follow the conventional “guy meets girl, they fall in love and live happily ever after” plot. This was a film about battle, trauma, loss, and sadness. While it is a serious political drama, there are also wonderful moments that celebrate love. Amar and Meghna’s romance has a poetic beauty to it, like a divine connection that brings their love to life. If we talk about Dil Se and do not mention the beautiful songs, that would be unfair. The song Dil Se depicts the true meaning of love and the lovely melody by A R Rehman stole everyone’s hearts and it is still engraved in our hearts.
Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge
It’s the best modern love story that India has to offer. DDLJ is the longest-running film in Indian cinema history, and it made SRK and Kajol the most popular on-screen couple in Hindi cinema. Raj and Simran became #CoupleGoals for 90’s kids even before social media. The film has managed to touch millions of hearts because of its unforgettable characters, intriguing narrative, and legendary music. The movie had some problematic scenes, like Raj making advances towards Simran when she was clearly not interested. However, the ending scene with Simran sprinting towards Raj in a moving train brings a grin to many people’s faces.
After Anushka Sharma and her daughter were captured on live camera at an India vs South Africa match, the actor and her husband Virat Kohli explained that Anushka had been caught off-guard and did not realise the camera was on her and baby Vamika.
Vamika, who turned one recently, was spotted with her mother in the VIP stand watching Virat Kohli and Team India play South Africa in the ongoing series. Vamika’s face was revealed in the shot and screenshots have since gone viral on social media. In one of the pictures, Virat can be seen dedicating his 50 to his daughter.
He scored the 50 in the third and final One Day International of the three-match ODI series between India National Cricket Team and South Africa National Cricket Team at the Newlands, Cape Town on Sunda, which they ultimately lost.
In an Instagram story, Anushka clarified that she didn’t mean to allow Vamika to be filmed, repeating her request that photos of her daughter not be taken or shared. She wrote: “We realise that our daughter’s images were captured at the stadium yesterday and widely shared thereafter. We want to inform everyone that we were caught off-guard and didn’t know that the camera was on us. Our stance and request on the matter stays the same. We would really appreciate if Vamika’s images are not clicked/published for reasons we have explained earlier.”

Bollywood actors Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif are all set for the release of their upcoming movie Sooryavanshi. The Welcome duo seems to be creating quite a stir ahead of their movie release in hilarious way.

Bollywood actor Katrina Kaif is set to marry her boyfriend Vicky Kaushal in a traditional ceremony. The latest report from ETimes claims that Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif will tie the knot in the first week of December at Six Senses Fort Barwara, a resort in Sawai Madhopur, which is located just 30 minutes away from Ranthambore National Park in Rajasthan. It is owned by none other than Rajasthan’s Royal Family.
Earlier, a report by ETimes claimed that Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal get married in November or December this year. “Their wedding outfits are being designed by Sabyasachi. On October 2, Aryan was arrested after NCB conducted a raid on the Cordella Cruises’ Empress ship off the coast of Mumbai. A special court in Mumbai on Thursday extended the judicial custody of eight accused in the Mumbai cruise drugs bust case, Aryan Khan and Arbaaz Merchant, till October 30.
