    The Chupke Chupke star paid a tribute to the veteran Bollywood actor Madhuri Dixit by performing on her two iconic songs in her dance reels.
    Ayeza recreated Madhuri’s looks from Aaja Nachle (2007) and Aik Do Teen (1988).

    Pyaray Afzal star Ayeza Khan playing a TikToker in her big-budget drama Laapata costarring Ali Rehman Khan, Sarah Khan and Gohar Rasheed.

    Her character Geeti makes musical and dance oriented videos including songs from some Bollywood chartbusters of late Sridevi. She will also be donning Kajol”s avatar from Kuch Kuch Hota Hai.

    She recently shared an interesting revelation that once a fan sent her parents a marriage proposal despite her being married to actor Danish Taimoor.

    The incident left her surprised as it was completely unexpected considering the fact she also has two adorable children.

    Indians demand boycott of Farhan Akhtar’s ‘Toofaan’ for glorifying Muslim-Hindu marriage

    Indians have a problem with the interfaith marriage being shown in the film between the lead characters, played by Farhan Akhtar and Mrunal Thakur reportedly in an upcoming movie sports filmToofaan.

    Toofaan trended on Twitter on Sunday in India as netizens rallied behind the call of a mass snub of the film. Those asking for its boycott have accused the makers of the film of promoting ‘love jihad’ in the film as it features a Hindu girl-Muslim boy love angle.

    When Mikaal Zulfiqar took over a Bollywood film rejected by Hamza Ali Abbasi

    Many people do not know this but Hamza Ali Abbasi was offered a role in the Bollywood film Baby which Mikaal Zulfiqar later accepted after the Man Mayal actor refused to be a part of the film. Hamza explained his reason of rejecting the Bollywood biggie in a Facebook post, citing the anti-Pakistan content of the feature film.

    Abbasi took to his official Facebook page and posted, “I was offered this Indian film Baby last year and I immediately said no to it seeing a slight anti-Pakistan element in its storyline.” The post further read, “I am in favour of our artistes working in Indian films, but if any film has even a slight anti-Pakistan theme, please think like a Pakistani first and then an artiste.”

    The role was later played by Mikaal and he received a polarizing response form the audience. The movie was banned for a release in Pakistan.

    After a phenomenal performance in Hindi Medium with the late Irrfan Khan in 2017, Saba Qamar won million hearts. At the time, Bollywood superstar Vidya Balan also messaged Qamar after seeing her performance.

    Balan took out sometime to catch the film. And after watching it, she sent a long text to Saba.

    In her message, Vidya wrote: “Hi Saba… This is Vidya Balan. Watched Hindi Medium today and took your number from Zeenat… Just wanted to tell you that you were amazing in the film. It’s a character that one could dislike easily for being so pushy but you humanized her and made her believable and likable… Really wow!! Congrats on your performance and on huge success of the film. All the best VB.”

    Of course, Saba was touched by Vidya’s gesture. She instantly took to Twitter to post a sweet message. Saba tweeted: “Being praised by one of the best actresses of bollywood is a huge deal. I’m overwhelmed!”

    Saba also posted a picture of Vidya’s message with caption, “I still can’t believe that I spoke to THE Vidya Balan. Being praised by one of the best actresses of Bollywood is a huge deal for me. I’m truly touched and honoured.”

    She went on to say, “Such a sweet gesture by her to take out the time to appreciate my work. It’s the best feeling ever when someone you admire so much, praises and appreciates your work. You’re beautiful inside out. Thank you! Loads of love!”

    Saba’s launch film in Bollywood, Hindi Medium is a lighthearted romantic film about a young couple in Chandni Chowk, who want their daughter to get the best possible education.

Post the success of Man Mayal, Maya was flooded with film offers from both Pakistan and India however her Bollywood debut never took off.

    The Teefa in trouble star, was invited in Chennai, India to audition for a Bollywood movie opposite Akshay Kumar in 2016 which never got made. Maya was accompanied with Khuda Aur Mohabbat fame Sadia Khan, who also had a meeting with the team.

    Maya was offered another Akshay Kumar film, Rustom but the Indo-Pak turmoil resulted in Pakistani actors getting banned in India and hence the makers roped in Barfi fame Ileana D’cruz for the role. It was also speculated that Maya refused the film as it had an extra marital affair angle in the script.

    Maya is currently being seen on Anjum Shahzad’s Pehli Si Muhabbat opposite Sheheryar Munawar.

    Mikaal Zulfiqar auditioned for Fawad’s role in ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’

    Mikaal Zulfiqar has worked in multiple Bollywood films, his most popular outing being Akshay Kumar starrer Baby. The Diyar-e-Dil actor mentioned in an interview with Hassan Sheheryar Yasin that he auditioned for Fawad Khan’s role in Karan Johar directorial Ae Dil Hai Mushkil which starred Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Aishwarya Rai in lead roles.

    Mikaal shared that he was approached for the role and even went to India for its audition. “When they approached us, we both were in talks with them and gave the audition,” he said, adding that he was not much interested when he gave the audition.

    “It was a small appearance and I always feel when it comes to India they give side roles to us,” he added. Talking on the basis of his personal experience, he further added that Indians are not fair with Pakistani actors.

    Mikaal has worked in a few Bollywood films such as Tapasse Pannu and Akshay Kumar starrer Baby which had anti-Pakistan content. He later, revealed that he was not aware of it when he had signed the movie and was tricked by the makers to work in an anti-Pakistan movie.

    After Baby, the actor had claimed that he has decided not to work in Indian movies. While Fawad’s performance in a brief yet important role was appreciated by critics and audience unanimously. His character’s name was DJ Ali and he played Anushka’s love-interest in the romantic saga. Thora Sa Haq actor Imran Abbas also appeared in a cameo role in the film.

    Varun Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan remake of 1995 hit Coolie No. 1 released on Christmas and fans were more than just disappointed with how the film turned out. So much so that the film ranks lower than the Salman Khan starrer Race 3 on IMDb.

    The movie which also features Javed Jaffery, Paresh Rawal and Johnny Lever in pivotal roles has been directed by David Dhawan himself. Dhawan had also directed the original version starring Govinda and Karishma Kapoor in the lead.

    Govinda fans are also very upset with the director and cast for remaking an iconic movie by ripping the best parts into shreds. While the director brought in more vibrancy and colour to the film as well a modern touch, it doesn’t seem to have resonated well with the audiences. 

    Race 3, which released in 2018, was ranked 1.9 on IMDb, which was considered one of the poorest ratings ever. However, Coolie No. 1 has beaten Race 3 with an IMDb rating of 1.4 only. It fares only better than Sadak 2, that has an abysmal 1.1/10 rating on IMDB. Sadak 2 stars Alia Bhatt, Sanjay Dutt and Aditya Roy Kapoor.

    Shah Rukh Khan was spotted outside Yash Raj Studios sporting long locks, reportedly his new look for upcoming film Pathan.

    Pictures of the actor which have gone viral on social media show him with his long hair that half-tied at the back. Even at 55, the actor was looking dapper in a white t-shirt and denim jeans paired with sneakers.

    As per reports, Deepika Padukone will reunite with him for the film. The actress made her Bollywood debut opposite SRK in Om Shanti Om and has gone on to star with him in several films including Chennai Express and Happy New Year.

    Pathan is being directed by Siddharth Anand and also stars John Abraham. The film marks SRK’s comeback to the big screen after a hiatus of more than two years. His last release was Zero in 2018 which was a commercial and box-office flop.

    The film is expected to release by the fall of next year. Although the film’s official release date has not been announced yet, rumours and reports say that the film will most likely be released on October 2, 2021
