The video is from an award show and starts with Fawad trying to woo Deepika by reciting the lines ‘roop tera mastana, pyaar mera deewana, bhool koi hum se na ho jaaye‘ for her. Impressed with his gesture, Deepika then hugs Fawad and tells Karan Johar, who is also present on the stage, “he’s all mine for the next few minutes.”

Alia or Deepika, who will join Fawad on Karan's couch?

She then goes down on one knee and Fawad is left blushing. While all this is happening, one can see Ranveer sitting in the audience with a weird expression on his face.

Earlier, Fawad too had expressed his desire of sharing screens with Deepika as he was quoted by Pinkvilla as saying: “I would be very excited to work with Deepika. It would be an amazing experience. I am very excited and enthusiastic about it. It would be the two right words to describe my feelings about our collaboration.”

Bollywood movie Brahmastra’s latest song, Kesariya has landed in hot waters for allegedly copying Pakistani music band Call’s hit song Laree Choote.

The chorus of the song Kesariya from the upcoming Bollywood movie Brahmastra is similar to that of the Pakistani melody.

It is pertinent to mention that Laree Choote was officially featured in Bollywood film Ek Chalis Ki Last Local starring Neha Dhupia and Abhay Deol feature in the music video.

Now actor Feroze Khan has slammed Bollywood for again plagiarising Pakistani music after Abrar-ul-Haq’s Nach Punjaban.

Recently Varun Dhawan’s JugJugg Jeeyo stirred controversy when singer Abrar-ul-Haq’s song Nach Punjaban was featured in its trailer.

The singer had criticized Karan Johar after the trailer, which featured the song, made rounds on social media platforms.

“I have not sold my song Nach Punjaban to any Indian movie and reserve the rights to go to court to claim damages,” he tweeted. “Producers like Karan Johar should not use copy songs. This is my sixth song being copied which will not be allowed at all.”

The official music video saw Abrar-ul-Haq credited for his song. His name was added to the music composition and lyrics under the credits.

He then announced to take legal action against Karan Johar and T-series for using his song in the upcoming movie JugJugg Jeeyo.

Host Karan Johar asked them about life, work and love; the dynamic duo reveals stories of their travel and adventures. Bonding over the scenic beauty of Kedarnath, Janhvi and Sara’s trip hit a roadblock as they faced two near-death experiences.

Recollecting Khan’s choice of a low-cost no-heater hotel in a bid to save Rs 6000, Janhvi shared how this choice nearly froze them. She said, “I had traveled to Kedarnath with two thermals, one puffer jacket, three shawls, two-track pants, and two sweaters. Karan, I wore every single piece of clothing I had owned and was still shivering,” adding that by the time Sara returned to their room after meeting her friends, her lips had turned blue and she was shivering! She even added that apart from the absence of a heater in the freezing -7℃ weather, the bathroom in the hotel was also doubtful, “If I had sat on that pot, it would have shattered,” said Janhvi Kapoor adding to her bad-hotel stay story.

Later Janhvi chose a hike at Bhairavnath over walking a normal path, the duo were faced with an unexpected twist in their adventure. Sara Ali Khan said, “We decided to go to Bhairavnath and there was a normal path for walking. But we thought ourselves to be better. We chose to hike instead. There was an 85 incline of just rocks and Janhvi is like let us just climb this,” Though skeptical of climbing the incline, Sara admitted that she was afraid of being called a buzzkill. However, the adventure turned sour as their climb became very scary. Admitting about fear kicking in, Sara mentioned how at one point, she was sure they would fall off owing to dangerous rocks.

With no escape in sight, they found solace when they saw a fan coming toward them as they hung off the cliff. Much to their dismay, he was of no help, as he only wanted to take a selfie with them. Eventually, Sara’s driver found them after almost 30 minutes of being stuck, and they were rescued with the help of special forces.

  • Abrar-ul-Haq takes legal action over the ‘Nach Punjaban’ plagiarism controversy

Singer and politician Abrar-ul-Haq has issued a legal notice to UK record label Moviebox Birmingham Limited which claims to have rights to the song. The legal notice comes days after Haq had said that he will be taking legal action against Bollywood director Karan Johar for stealing his song Nach Panjaban for his movie Jugjugg Jeeyo.

Taking to Twitter on Sunday, Haq said: “My lawyers in the United Kingdom have issued a legal notice to Moviebox with respect to the misappropriation of my song Nach Punjaban.” He said that he will share the updates soon with people. The singer ended his tweet with the hashtag “Stop Stealing Our Songs”.

Earlier the record label had said that the song had been “licensed to be included” to use in Karan Johar’s song. It claimed that Dharma Productions have the “legal rights to use the song for their upcoming movie. It called the statements of Abrar-ul-Haq “defamatory and completely unacceptable.”

Following this, Haq reiterated that this song has not been licensed to any entity. “Nach Punjaban has not been licensed to anyone. If someone is claiming it, then produce the agreement. I will be taking legal action,” he tweeted.

The Bheega December crooner has taken this action after Bollywood star and the film’s leading man Varun Dhawan praised him in a video message while recording an interview with Bollywood Hungama.

“I want to say to Abrar that he sung the song so well, the original one,” the actor told the outlet. “It is amazing, outstanding and we loved it.”

He added, “Our music company, they bought the rights and now our song is doing so well, so thank you.”

In 2019, a petition against Haq’s wedding song, Chamkeeli featuring Mehwish Hayat and Shahveer Jafry was filed in the civil court.

According to reports, the plea submitted by lawyer Rana Adnan Asghar stated that the song is encouraging disrespectful attitude for men and women, asserting that the song ridiculed men and must therefore must be removed from YouTube. The petitioner also wanted the singer to apologise for the song.

However the legal mess later died down.

‘Maine usay phone kia’: Farhan Saeed opens up about Bollywood debut opposite Urvashi Rautela

Currently riding high on the success of his blockbuster drama, Mere Humsafar opposite Hania Aamir, singer-actor Farhan Saeed has opened up about his Bollywood debut, which never saw the light of the day.

The Suno Chanda star revealed that he was earlier offered a Bollywood film because of his hit songs.

“I was offered a Bollywood film with Mithun Chakraborty’s son, which also starred Urvashi Rautela. But Urvashi and I backed out of it together because we realized it was not something that we wanted to do.” He shared that upon returning to Pakistan after making music for Bollywood, he was offered Udaari which became a huge hit.

He made that decision over the phone with the Pagalpanti diva.

Now, years down the line, Saeed has been enjoying acting and is looking forward to his Lollywood debut, Tich Button soon.

Farhan has sung Bollywood songs like “Thori Dair Aur Teher Jaa”.

Recently he also broke his silence on the public speculation about his personal life and equation with partner Urwa Hocane.

While getting candid about it, he stated that the constant speculation and interference in his personal life is a part of his job as when fans shower him with so much love it is understandable that they are emotionally invested and want to know more.

“Ideally, I think to comment on the things which are shared but that’s idealism. When you are famous and in the public eye, there is always a price to pay. Criticism and praise come hand in hand. Just answer want you to want to and ignore other things.”

The Suno Chanda star added further that he just answers what he wishes to and ignores everything else as every job comes with its advantages and disadvantages.

Earlier last year it was reported that Farhan and Urwa have parted ways amicably, however recently some news portals informed that maybe the couple has reconciled. However the Udaari pair has never made a public statement about their split or alleged patch-up.

‘Get a boob job, fix your face’: Ananya Panday reveals what hurt her in Bollywood

Bollywood actor Ananya Panday made her debut in Bollywood with Karan Johar’s Student Of The Year 2 with Tiger Shroff and has managed to mark her place in the film industry.

In a recent chat, the actress revealed that she has faced ‘sexism’ in the early days of her career.

During her recent appearance on The Ranveer Show, the Pati Patni Aur Woh diva said: “As soon as I started working, people started saying things like ‘you should fix this and fix that, like get a boob job or change something about your face. And, it is said very casually and not in direct words that you sometimes even don’t pick it up. They would say, ‘just fill up a little more. Put on some weight.’”

Ananya Panday reveals facing ‘casual sexism’ in her initial days; Says people asked her to 'fill up'

Ananya said that she felt hurt about it and would think, “Is that what people care about? Is that what I am reduced to? Is there nothing about me paramount to my waist size or chest size?” She said that the worst thing a person can do is judge them for their body.

Panday mentioned that she wasn’t promised work in the industry nor was spoken about any opportunities. The actress also said that she always wanted to be an actress but she never knew how she would accomplish that. “I never thought it was going to be easy,” Panday said.

Meanwhile, on the work front, the Khaali Peeli actress will be seen next in Puri Jagannadh’s action film Liger alongside Vijay Deverakonda, which will release in the theatres on 25 August 2022.

Earlier this year during Gehraiyaan’s promotions, Deepika Padukone explained how Ananya does not like sharing food and further elaborated on how they (Gehraiyaan’s lead cast) tried to invite themselves for a dinner at Ananya’s house but Panday was not keen on having them over.

When interviewer Cyrus Broacha asked Ananya why she did not want to have them over, she said, “Because my dad (Chunky Panday) is always roaming around in a towel. If you all still want to come, come.”

Director Shakun Batra and Deepika also revealed how Ananya never shares food.

Shakun and Cocktail diva recalled an incident when she didn’t share her keema pao with others but gave a few peas from the dish to Shakun.

While talking about the incident, Deepika told Cyrus Broacha on his show Cyrus Says on YouTube, “She doesn’t share her food.” Shakun further revealed how Ananya only shared some matar (peas) from the keema pao she was eating. Deepika then says, “At least you got that.”

Deepika added, “We invited ourselves to Ananya’s house because she said that she is having keema pao for dinner. We said thanks for inviting us and she was like ‘Yes if you guys wanna come, please come but there isn’t enough pao for you all.’” She further said, “We then waited 40 minutes for our food that we ordered but she kept eating hers and didn’t share.” Ananya then points at Shakun and says, “I gave him 2-3 matar (peas).”

Director Shakun Batra joined the conversation right after and pointed out how bizarre the reason was. “I can already imagine so many memes being made on that.”, he said.

  • ‘Was shaken with her death’: Bollywood’s Alankrita Shrivastava announces Qandeel Baloch’s biopic

‘Was shaken with her death’: Bollywood’s Alankrita Shrivastava announces Qandeel Baloch’s biopic

Acclaimed Indian filmmaker Alankrita Shrivastava has announced the biopic of Pakistani model and social media star Qandeel Baloch, who was murdered in an honor killing incident in 2016.

Shrivastava, along with producers Vikas Sharma and Sunny Khanna has acquired the rights to the book The Sensational Life and Death of Qandeel Baloch, by Sanam Maher, published by Aleph, it was revealed ahead of the Cannes Film Market.

Shrivastava’s credits include feminist films Lipstick Under My Burkha and Netflix series Bombay Begums.

Baloch, whose real name is Fouzia Azeem, had stoked controversy in Pakistan by living a Westernized lifestyle and posting her thoughts on social media, including Facebook and Twitter. Divorced from her husband, she had been nicknamed “Pakistan’s Kim Kardashian” and “Pakistan’s first social media star.”

“When Qandeel Baloch was murdered in Pakistan in 2016, I was shaken up,” Shrivastava said. “It was a heinous honor killing. I couldn’t stop thinking about her. I started watching Qandeel’s videos repeatedly, and I was fascinated. She was so charming and full of life. A poor girl from a small village, who worked her way up to being provocatively famous. She was just 26 when she was killed. And ironically, it’s only after her death that she has been reclaimed as a feminist.”

“Qandeel’s story needs to be told by a sensitive filmmaker who is passionate about women’s stories,” Sharma said. “Alankrita is just the filmmaker for it. And not just because she is an award-winning feminist filmmaker, but because she has so much empathy for her characters. She tells their stories with candor and warmth.”

Khanna added: “Qandeel Baloch’s story is important and relevant. Even today women often continue to be at risk when they dare to express their individuality and challenge the status quo. I believe the world needs to watch stories like this.”

Shrivastava noted: “I see this film as an ode to the courageous spirit of Qandeel Baloch. It will chronicle her sensational and astonishing rise to fame. I hope to piece together the memories of the rebellious, funny and vulnerable young girl, whose life was cut short because she shimmered too bright. The film will celebrate her spunk and lust for life by telling her story without judgment, hopefully the way she would have liked to tell it.”

Recently actor Osman Khalid Butt has challenged the acquittal of Baloch’s brother in the Supreme Court (SC), Barrister Khadija Siddiqi stated on Twitter. She also termed it as a “test case”.
