    Dubai crown prince calls Dubai-based Pakistani rider to thank him for his ‘act of goodness’

    A Pakistani delivery rider won the heart of Dubai’s crown prince after a video of him removing concrete blocks from a busy street went viral. He was seen in the viral video removing two fallen concrete bricks from busy traffic.

    Dubai Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum then shared the video on his official Twitter account in an attempt to locate the man.

    “An act of goodness in Dubai to be praised. Can someone point me to this man?”

    Later, he commented on his own tweet saying that the “good man” has been found.

    The crown prince called Abdul Ghafoor to thank him.

    “Hello, this is Sheikh Hamdan,” were the first words when he called Pakistani expat Abdul Ghafoor on Sunday.

    “I could not believe my ears,” an elated Abdul Ghafoor told Khaleej Times. He was out for a delivery when the call came. “The Dubai Crown Prince thanked me for what I had done. He also said that he was out of the country right now and promised he would meet me as soon as he was back.”

    “To be honest, I’m still in disbelief that the Sheikh wanted to speak to a common man like me,” said Abdul Ghafoor. “He is really a great leader.”

    Dubai enters Guinness Book of Records by setting up world’s deepest swimming pool

    Dubai has opened the world’s deepest swimming pool and has entered the Guinness book of records.

    The pool, Deep Dive Dubai is located at Nad Al Sheba with the depth of 60.02 metres and contains 14 million litres of water in it.

    As per reports, public bookings are expected to start in late July with different courses and experiences offered for scuba divers and freedivers..

    Deep Dive Dubai is also an underwater film studio with an editing room, a video wall, 56 underwater cameras, and the ability to create different moods with 164 lights positioned throughout the pool.

    Crown Prince of Dubai, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum recently visited the place and dived into the pool. He posted a video on social media showing him in full diving gear. He is seen swimming back to the top of the pool from its dizzying depths.

    The Hollywood actor, Will Smith also posted a video on Instagram diving into the pool.

    Crown Prince of Dubai Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum has cordoned off his car upon finding that a small bird had built a next on its hood, Gulf Today reported.

    As per the details, the crown prince on his Instagram shared a video of the bird nesting on his Mercedes-AMG G63 SUV parked within his residence in Dubai. 

    The video, which Sheikh Hamdan shot at a distance, shows the G-wagon cordoned off with red-and-white tape and he has told all personnel to stay away from the area so as to not disturb the bird.

    Reportedly an avid lover of nature, Sheikh Hamdan regularly shares his experiences across his social media platforms.

    Earlier this week, Hamdan shared videos and photos of the bird building the nest. Ever since, the royal has not been near his car and therefore told everyone to stay off the area.

    Hamdan Bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum is the son of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and Sheikha Hind bint Maktoum bin Juma Al Maktoum, the senior wife of Mohammed. He is the second son of their 12 children and the fourth of his father’s children. Hamdan’s elder full brother was Sheikh Rashid bin Mohammed.

    He is popularly known as Fazza, the name under which he publishes his poetry, and which means “the one who helps” in Arabic.

    While the crown prince’s Instagram account with more than 10 million followers suggests his hobbies include animals, poetry, sports, photography and adventures, Hamdan Al Maktoum is also a licensed and a well-cultivated equestrian, a skydiver and a scuba diver.
