‘Earn enough to save your relationships,’ advises Danish Nawaz

Actor Danish Nawaz has said that every person should earn enough money so that their relationships do not break.

“Every person should earn enough money so that their relationships do not get lost or broken,” he said in response to a question about income while appearing on comedy program‘ Mazaq Raat’.

“Every person should earn enough money so that when their child asks them for something, they can give it to them,” Nawaz added.

He also spoke openly on other topics. “I started my career with comedy and continued to play comic roles for a long time, which made people think that I only knew comedy,” the actor-director said.

According to Nawaz, he wanted to change this perception and so he turned towards directing and earned a name there through hard work.

“My father Farid Nawaz Baloch passed away before my showbiz career and I learned a lot from Yasir Nawaz. I also played the best role of my life in ‘Nadanian.’”

“I did not face any difficulties getting into directing after acting. I read and understood the script completely before starting to shoot, which impressed actors with my work,” he said.

He further said, “Your loved ones give love without money, but you have to spend money on outsiders.”

Faysal Qureshi reveals his favorite co-stars

During an appearance on Nida Yasir, Danish Nawaz, and Yasir Nawaz’s show, ‘Nadan Maizban,’ actor Faysal Qureshi shared which actors he wants to work with again. When asked who he thinks he has the best on-screen chemistry with, the Bashar Momin actor quickly said, “I always enjoy working with Naumaan Ijaz.” He also admitted, “I get intimidated acting opposite Naumaan.”

Talking about his female co-stars, Faysal said, “I enjoyed working with Zara Noor Abbas. I only did two scenes with her because she didn’t continue with that drama.” He added, “Madiha Imam joined the team, and I saw Zara’s acting. She was amazing. Madiha is also very good.”

Qureshi mentioned other talented actors he’s worked with. “I worked with Ushna Shah in Bashar Momin and Bheegi Palkain, and she was brilliant. Iqra Aziz is phenomenal. Sajal is excellent. Faryal Mehmood is also very good.”

During the same interview, Faysal said he enjoys comedies more than other genres. He explained, “Coincidentally, all three of my ongoing dramas have me playing a negative character. If I play too much of the same thing, I stop enjoying it. I think comedy feels like a paid vacation. Serious characters can be draining.”

Faysal also shared how he keeps his personal and acting life separate, especially after playing intense roles. He said, “By the time I go home, I’ve already forgotten the day’s dialogues and I don’t know the next day’s either. If we need to reshoot scenes, the set assistants remind me that we just shot the same scene yesterday, but I don’t remember. I still ask to read the script.”

While Chupke Chupke features many established stars including Osman Khalid Butt, Ayeza Khan, Tara Mahmood, Farhan Ally Agha, Asma Abbas, Ali Safina, and Mira Sethi, the drama also marks the debut of two new faces – Aymen Saleem and Arslan Naseer. Sidra Niazi is also a fresh new face who has made a mark in the drama.

    Aymen Saleem

Daughter of former cricketer Saleem Yousuf and an alumnus of the prestigious Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, Aymen has won everyone’s heart with her performance as the sweet and innocent Mishi.

Sharing a clip of the first ever scene she shot, Saleem thanked audiences for their “outpouring love”.

Naseer, who spent several years studying and working in Ireland and the United Kingdom, plays the fun and easy-going Haadi in the series. Earlier, while talking to a local media outlet, Arslan shared that though he got several offers from the TV industry and Bollywood, this one came at the right time.

“I suppose this came at the right moment as I was about to take the leap of faith and was planning on quitting my corporate job. Though it happened all of a sudden, God has been kind and the timing was right,” shared Arslan, adding that he was thrilled to be a part of it because it was written by Suno Chanda writer Saima Akram Chaudhry.

Besides having great chemistry with Saleem, Arslan’s bromance with Faadi (Butt) is also winning hearts.

    Sidra Niazi

Budding actor Sidra Niazi is just a few projects old but the actor sure has left a mark on the screen. The actor played Hania in the drama, Faadi’s former fiancé.

Niazi is also part of Geo Entertainment’s Qayamat in which she is playing a grey character with finesse.
