Those people are very lucky whose parents are alive and seeing their smiling faces every day is like a Hajj. I am one of those unlucky people whose parents do not have a shadow over their heads. Of course, their prayers are with me even today, but now I cannot leave the house leaving my daughter alone at home anymore.”
    Sadia Imam became emotional upon hearing her daughter’s beautiful voice reciting Naat.

    She stated that she attempted to resume work in the midst but couldn’t manage it because raising a child is a tremendous responsibility.
    Sadia Imam said that “I am also responsible for the responsibility of my children, but my daughter may ask me a question about it when she grows up tomorrow, so before my daughter asks me any question, it is better that I give her the time she deserves.”

    A stone-hearted father killed his newborn in Madhya Pradesh in India, reportedly because he desired a daughter.

    The man named Anil Yuki already had two sons and was desirous of a daughter, police have said.

    Anil was intoxicated when he beat his wife in a drunken state, snatched the 12-day-old newborn from her, and strangled him to death, as per media reports.

    The police said that there were marks on the neck of the newborn. As soon as the incident was reported, the police arrested Anil and took the baby’s body, registering a case.

    During the investigation, Anil confessed to his crime and said that he wanted a daughter but a son was born for the third time, upon which he became upset and killed the child in a fit of rage.

    Famous Indian Urdu poet Munawwar Rana passed away at the age of 71 in a private hospital in Lucknow after a prolonged illness.

    Munawwar Rana’s daughter Samia Rana has said that her father was placed on a ventilator in a critical condition.
    Unfortunately, he could not recover, passing away on Sunday night. His funeral will take place today.

    Munawwar Rana was born on November 26,1952, in Rae Bareli, Uttar Pradesh, but spent most of his life in Kolkata and West Bengal.

    At the time of his death, he was suffering from chronic diseases like throat cancer, kidney disorders, diabetes and high blood pressure.

    The poet’s daughter shared in a video before his passing that her father had been unwell since the last two to three days. He experienced severe abdominal pain after which doctors conducted a CT scan and identified an issue in his abdomen, leading to a necessary operation.

    Police have arrested a man in Lahore for kidnapping and killing his six-year-old grandson to marry the child’s mother.

    As per details, Nazir Ahmed wanted to marry his daughter-in-law, and had asked his son to divorce her.

    His son refused act on his father’s desire after which Nazir kidnapped his grand-son Ghulam Mustafa, to blackmail his son, Tanvir Ahmed.

    Tanvir told police there his father had killed his son and thrown his body in a drain.

    Police are investigating the case.

    A father shot his 18-year-old daughter in Vano Ghari village of Sardaryab, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa after a video of her dancing went viral on social media.

    The girl’s mother told the local authorities that she, along with her daughter and a son-in-law, were at her home when her husband Bakhtiar Gul entered, grabbed a gun, and shot his daughter to death.

    She further said that her husband killed their daughter when someone he met taunted him about the video.

    The mother has claimed that the murdered girl worked as a domestic helper for a wealthy family in Islamabad, where another male from Swat also resided.
    The man allegedly proposed to the woman, but she declined because she was already engaged.

    She stated that after the youngster tried to blackmail her and failed, he posted a video of her dancing on social media with a fake ID as retaliation.
    She claimed that they had made the decision to file an FIR in Islamabad against the man on the day the incident occured.

    Activist daughter of former Iranian president sentenced to five years in prison in Iran

    The daughter of former Iranian president Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani daughter, activist Faezeh Hashemi, has been sentenced to five years in prison in Iran.

    The lawyer did not give details of the charges against Faezeh Hashemi. However, Tehran’s public prosecutor indicted Hashemi last year on charges of “propaganda against the system”, according to the semi-official ISNA news agency.

    It was reported that Faezeh had been arrested for “inciting riots” in Tehran during protests triggered by the death of a young Kurdish woman in police custody.

    “Following the arrest of Ms Faezeh Hashemi, she was sentenced to five years in prison but the sentence is not final,” defence lawyer Neda Shams wrote on her Twitter account.

    In 2012, Faezeh Hashemi was sentenced to jail and banned from political activities for “anti state propaganda” dating back to the 2009 disputed presidential election.
