Donald Blome, the American ambassador posted in Islamabad, has expressed his best wishes for the Pakistan cricket team in the T20 World Cup and said that he has seen immense love and passion for the sport in Pakistan.
In a video statement Donald Blome said, “I had a meeting with the Pakistan cricket team recently and learned some bowling and batting tips from the players. I have seen immense love and passion for cricket in Pakistan. Cricket was played in every open place in summer, both Pakistan and America are countries with love for sports.”
He added, “America will host the T20 World Cup for the first time, I hope the matches will be interesting. I wish captain Babar Azam and team Pakistan all the best for the T20 World Cup.”
The T20 World Cup is scheduled to be played from June 1 to June 29 in USA and West Indies.
