During an interview, he was asked a question about why he chose to play father roles while many of his fellow actors still played the hero. Hasan replied, “Can you believe it? I was only 28 when I started TV. Now I’m 52! Where did the time go?”
“I like to keep things natural and don’t believe in dyeing my hair or getting fake hair. I prefer playing characters that suit my natural appearance, so I started taking up these roles,” he said. Hassan also spoke about the importance of the drama ‘Khaie’. “The drama has broken monotony, and it also ended up becoming Khalid Butt Sahab’s best work. Khaie showed the world that we can make Netflix-level projects, and we are not behind anyone when it comes to creativity.”

“If I were in charge of the censor board, I’d ban all dramas because they ruin relationships. They disgrace relationships, and it’s sad that people don’t speak out against such negative content. The makers depict every relationship as evil, which influences society negatively. The drama ‘Nand’ gained popularity by portraying a sister-in-law as evil. I prefer dramas with moral lessons. Also, I personally censor certain dialogues.”

In India, they’ve had actors like Irfan Khan and Manoj Vajpai, who paved the way for stars like SRK, Salman Khan, and now Ranveer Singh. They create their own success.”
Speaking about the roles he’s offered, he said, “I receive less roles because I decline many offers, so producers assume I’ll reject theirs too. Most drama makers don’t approach me because of this. I’m selective in my choices. However, if friends propose a role that interests me, I consider it. Additionally, I enjoy theater and film. Hosting also provides a good income.”
