    ‘Zabardast meeting rahi’: Adnan Siddiqui hangouts with Nawaz Sharif in London

    Actor Adnan Siddiqui, is currently in London to promote his Imran Ashraf-Amar Khan starrer film Dum Mastam.

    The senior actor met the former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif who is currently resising in the European city.

    The two spent quality time together, pictures of their meeting were posted by the official twitter handle of PML-N.

    The Mom star shared his great experience of meeting the veteran politician.

    He revealed that Nawaz promsied a better film policy in the country and expressed his progressive vision for the film fraternity of Pakistan.

    Screenshot of a tweet is going viral on social media, that features Adnan praising Nawaz and claiming that if he becomes the PM again, he will vainish inflation and improve the economic situatio of the nation.

    However the tweet has been posted from a fake handle and is not authentic.

    Former focal person on digital media to former PM Khan, Dr Arsalan Khalid exclusively stated to The Current, “Artists make an important part of society and its good to see pml-n promoting this meeting realizing how wrong they were when they attacked all the artists and celebrities who are supporting Imran Khan.”

    Earlier the Ahista Ahista star shared pictures when he met the legendary Indian musician, AR Rahman at Dubai Expo 2020 after cancelling his booked flight on December 21

    Mom star uploaded a selfie on December 24 with the Oscar-winning musician, AR Rahman on his Instagram. He shared his experience as the evening not to be forgotten ever after listening live singing from AR Rahman.

    Adnan said, “I was supposed to fly back on December 21, stayed put another day only to see A R Rahman sahib perform live.”

    The live performance lasted for around three hours where people were standing for listening to his soulful music. He considered it a privilege that he immersed in his ethereal music.

    He also revealed the humility of a legendary musician and international icon, who took him backstage to introduce his crew.

    He added, “Not everyone can be Mr AR Rahman.”

    Last month, Popular Indian singer Arijit Singh performed at a concert in Dubai Abu Dhabi. During the concert, the Channa Mereya singer took out the time to praise Pakistani singers, Atif Aslam and Rahat Fateh Ali Khan. 

    Later, he went on to sing the popular song of Atif Aslam’s Pehli Nazar Mein from the Bollywood film, Race.

    Pakistan wins ‘Best Pavilion Exterior Design’ award at Expo Dubai 2020

    The Pakistan Pavilion has been awarded the best exterior award given by the Burj Ceo.

    After winning the award for the best pavilion exterior design, a statement was issued by the Pakistani pavilion stating that “we are happy to win the award for the best pavilion exterior design at the Dubai Expo”.

    Rashid Rana, one of Pakistan’s most celebrated artists, was asked to transform the Pakistan Pavilion into one of the largest artworks of its kind through his artistic intervention. He has been awarded the country’s third-highest civil award ‘Sitara-e-Imtiaz’.

    “We congratulate the country’s renowned artist and exterior designer of the Pakistani pavilion, Rashid Rana, on receiving the highest civil award Sitara-e-Imtiaz in recognition of his outstanding performance in the field of fine arts,” the Pakistani pavilion said in a Twitter message.

    Malala visits Pakistani pavilion at Dubai Expo, defeats husband Asser in Tic Tac Toe

    Nobel Laureate and Women’s Education Rights Activist Malala Yousafzai visited the Pakistani pavilion at the Dubai Expo 2020. She was accompanied by her husband Asser Malik and parents.

    Malala took to Twitter to share pictures. “My family and I attended Expo 2020 Pak and saw exhibits celebrating Pakistan’s culture, faith, landscapes and people. I hope everyone who visits will be inspired to learn more about our beautiful country,” she wrote, while sharing pictures.

    Singer Shehzad Roy was also there and shared pictures. In one of the pictures Asser Malik can be seen apparently accepting his defeat in Tic Tac Toe.

    A video of Malala at the Expo was posted on the Pakistan pavilion’s official Twitter page.

    The post read, “The Pakistan Pavilion is honoured to have Pakistani activist for female education and Nobel Prize winner Malala Yousafzai, her husband Malik Asser, and her family visit our Pavilion today.”

    AR Rahman’s daughter Khatija announces engagement with Riyasdeen Shaik

    Internationally renowned Indian musician, AR Rahman’s daughter Khatija Rahman announced her engagement on her Instagram last night with audio engineer Riyasdeen Shaik.

    She shared a collage image of herself from the event and another picture of her fiance in black and white. She was wearing a pink dress with a matching mask on her engagement.

    Khatija penned down on Instagram, “With the blessings of the Almighty I’m happy to announce to you all my engagement with Riyasdeen Shaik Mohamed @riyasdeenriyan, an aspiring entrepreneur and a wizkid audio engineer. The engagement happened on 29th December, my birthday in the presence of close family and loved ones.”

    Several celebrities dropped their congratulatory messages under her post.

    Indian female singer, Harshdeep Kaur wrote, “Congratulations to the both of you. God Bless!!”

    Another Indian singer, Neeti Mohan said, “Many many congratulations. This is such a wonderful moment. @khatija.rahman @riyasdeenriyan.” Sreekanth Hariharan wrote, “Heartiest congratulations @khatija.rahman & @riyasdeenriyan !!”

    Famous Atrangi Re Indian director, Aanand L.Rai also sent good wishes, “Congrats. Best wishes always. Stay Blessed.”

    In November 2021, Khatija Rahman performed a spiritual song Farishton, at the Dubai Expo 2020, which was highly appreciated by the audience. It is also composed by AR Rahman.
