    ‘Working with Sajal Aly was a dream’: Sheikh Mubashir

    Rising star Sheikh Mubashir Mehmood has been winning hearts with his impressive acting skills. From his debut in ‘Jeevan Nagar’ to his recent ‘Zard Patton Ka Bunn’ fans have appreciated the star power he brings to the screen. His on-screen chemistry with Sajal Aly in their most recent project as Meenu and Roshan is particularly a fan favourite.

    Sheikh Mubashir appeared as a guest on Fuchsia, where he talked about his experience working with Sajal Aly in ‘Zard Patton Ka Bunn’.

    “I was always a huge fan of Sajal Aly, she’s an incredibly natural actress. As soon as I found out she was part of the project, I knew I had to be a part of it too. Working with her was an amazing experience, she made me feel so comfortable on set. New actors can feel intimidated, so she goes out of her way to be friendly and help you perform to your full potential. We became great friends and I admire how she approaches her work with such intellectual depth,” he said.

    That’s a lot of praise for Sajjal, who many costars name as their favourite collaborator.

    Ayesha said, “My first husband’s name was ‘Jahanzeb’, and I’ve always maintained it as a memorial to him. We were married for seven years before he passed away, having fallen in love when we were quite young. My first husband had given our children my grandfather’s name. That’s why I decided to keep it. When I remarried, my second husband graciously accepted my decision to keep the name and was happy with my situation as it was.”

    About Nargis Fakhri she said, “I had good friendships with all the actors like Lisa, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Boman Irani. They were all very friendly except Nargis Fakhri. She acted like she was too important, didn’t bond well with us, and seemed jealous. She was probably wondering where this girl, me, came from. She was rude and jealous towards others.”

    Recently, the actress appeared on the TV show Gup Shup hosted by Vasay Chaudhary. During the show, she discussed the professionalism of the older generation of actors compared to newer ones. She also shared her views on the latest trends in the drama industry.

    “Actors had patience back then, but current actors seem to lack it. We were very skilled in our work, but now actors don’t seem to have that same level of skill and maturity. Today’s actors achieve success and financial stability quickly, while it took us decades to reach that level of success. In the past, actors prioritized their work, focusing on their craft without many distractions. They concentrated on their performance rather than on sets and surroundings.”
