‘I don’t remember my first wedding’: Noor Bukhari opens up about past marriages

Former actress and model Noor Bukhari, known for her roles in hits films like ‘Mujhe Chaand Chahiye’ and ‘Ghar Kab Ao Gay’, has shared details of her past marriages and talked about how her life changed.

Bukhari appeared on Hafiz Ahmed’s podcast in a recent episode where she said, “I don’t remember my first wedding, I don’t even want to remember. All my marriages were love marriages, which was a mistake. Right now, everything seems to be blurred in my mind. Alhamdulillah I’m happy in my current marriage.”

In response to a question about rumor and speculation, Noor elaborated, “Rumors were spread about my marriages. I have only been married twice before, so it doesn’t matter if they say I was married ten times.”

Talking about her family life, Noor firmly said: “My husband Aun Chaudhry is the father of my three children. I have two daughters and a son. Muhammad Ali Raza is one year old, Sheherbano is four, and the eldest daughter is eleven.”
Noor Bukhari’s journey from a famous actress to a devoted mother and wife marks a new, fulfilling chapter in her life, one she embraces with happiness and gratitude.

Talking about the founder of PTI, Imran Khan, the singer said, “I’ve had a long-standing relationship with Imran Khan – we’re from the same family and area. I travelled with him to raise funds for Shaukat Khanum Memorial Hospital.”

  • My father left his job, my mother left her family: Tabish Hashmi on family’s move to Pakistan

My father left his job, my mother left her family: Tabish Hashmi on family’s move to Pakistan

Host and stand – up comedian Tabish Hashmi is one of our favourite people on screen but did you know that until very recently, his family was living in India?

The star host was invited as a guest on Hafiz Ahmed’s Podcast where he detailed the difficulties his family faced when they shifted to Pakistan from India in 1984.

“My father moved to Pakistan in 1984, leaving behind a comfortable life in India where he had a good job. His brothers, who were already settled in Pakistan, encouraged him to make the move. It was my grandmother’s illness that finally prompted him to take the leap. While my father’s sacrifice was significant, as he gave up his job, it was my mother who made the ultimate sacrifice, leaving behind her entire family to join my father in Pakistan. My elder sisters were born in India, and I was born in Pakistan.”

Talking about how his father became a citizen of Pakistan, he said, “At that time, it was relatively easy to settle in Pakistan by showing investment in the form of dollars or money. Fortunately, my father had the necessary funds, so we were able to obtain Pakistani nationality.”

Well, we are glad that Tabish’s family made the move. Or else we would have been deprived of one of our brightest stars.

  • Why did Dr Arooba say no to Geo’s drama offer?

Why did Dr Arooba say no to Geo’s drama offer?

Dr. Arooba Tariq, television host, recently shared her experience of being offered a lead role in a major Geo TV drama during a podcast with Hafiz Ahmed. She revealed that despite the significant offer, she declined the opportunity due to her father’s disapproval and her own reservations about the intense scenes requiring close physical contact with co-stars.

“In the media industry, people tend to remember you by your face, especially if you’ve previously appeared on TV shows. As a result, I received a significant offer from Geo TV to play the main lead in a big drama. They genuinely wanted me to be a part of the brilliant ensemble cast of the play.

In an attempt to convince me to take the job, they even brought me to the studio to experience the set and recording processes. My father, on the other hand, was not into it, so I was limited to hosting. I was still thinking about going to the Shahnoor studio, though. Following this, I came to the conclusion that acting was not for me, especially in light of the dramatic sequences that required close physical contact with co-stars. I declined the opportunity since, as a novice, I would not have any creative control over altering such daring situations.
