“It’s very sad that there are very few people left in this world who are real and genuine,” said the actor. “And those who are [real and genuine] are afraid because people call them with weird names [such as] ‘sokha‘, when they are only trying to be as original as possible.”

“All they are doing is keeping the child inside them alive. It’s vulnerability, it’s innocence, and not trying to be somebody they are not,” said Hania further, adding: “All they want is happiness for themselves and the people around them.”

Hania continued: “It doesn’t make sense, when you hate on them.”

“I just read a comment which said ‘Oh I unfollowed her because she was like crossing her limits’. What are you talking about man?,” questioned Hania. “All I talk about is love and respect and coexisting with different opinions, and that’s it.”

“I love you all, man. Don’t miss out on my content,” concluded Hania on a humorous note.

Earlier, Hania had also posted a lengthy note in which she talked about self-love and urged people to be kind to each other and accept difference of opinions. In her note, Hania also questioned why people can’t be happy in others happiness.

Ismail added more fuel to the fire by resharing the story on his Instagram account leaving fans confused over whether the two had actually put a ring on it or were just fooling around.

Turns out Hania was just playing an elaborate April Fool’s joke on her fans and has not gotten engaged to Shamoon.

“Thanks guys. I’ll definitely have a better quality photo when it’s real. I love you guys,” said Hania.

She also thanked Shamoon for being “such a sport”.

‘Don’t pit women against women’: Hania Aamir responds to backlash on using beauty filter

Hania Aamir recently sparked backlash after she talked about colour shaming and flawed beauty standards in a series of posts on her Instagram stories. Netizens and social media users called the actor out for using a beauty filter and not showing her own raw skin while talking about embracing flaws.

Responding to the criticism, Hania said: “I was even wearing makeup that day. The point is being comfortable with who you are, doing things because you want to do them, not doing things because [of] the beauty standards that are set.”

“Does that makes sense?” questioned Hania after clarifying her stance.

“If I am using a beauty filter because I want to use it then it’s fine. But if I use a beauty filter because I feel pressurized by the society, then it is wrong,” she explained.

The actor further said: “Let’s not kill the whole conversation and pit women against women just because you don’t understand my point of view. There is something good going on over here, so please expand your brains and think positively.”

Hania further said that she has been talking about skin positivity for the last two years.

Agar mein ne beauty filter user kar lia aik din toh aap ko opportunity mil gae hai. Itnay opportunist na bano yaar,” she remarked. “This is me with a bare face, deal with it.”

This is not the first time Hania has talked about unrealistic beauty standards. Earlier in 2019, Aamir had opened up about her struggle with acne and talked about unrealistic beauty standards.

Meanwhile, Syra Yousuf also posted a barefaced selfie of herself while responding to those who posted negative comments about her skin.
