Hira Mani and her husband Mani captivated the audience with their speeches and performances at MQM-P’s celebration in Karachi’s Jinnah Ground.
Hira also treated fans by singing the OST of her popular drama serial ‘Meray Pass Tum Ho’. The event was filled with cheers and applause as the couple showcased their talents, surrounded by MQM-P leaders.
You thought your man was hot, but actress Hira Mani has six reasons for why her husband is better than everyone else’s, including Bollywood leading actors.
The actress shared a hilarious post on her Instagram stories, where she pointed out how Mani embodies six of the best qualities from Bollywood actors:
“Hrithik ke body, Shah Rukh ke adayien, Bobby Deol jaisay mazboot baal, Sallu bhai jaisa commitment, Akshay jaisa manly, Amir Khan jaisa cute papu, 6 mardoun ki khasosiyaat wala Mani.”
True love aisa hi hona chahiye I guess?
Hira Mani is known for her outspoken nature, making headlines with some of the most hilarious one-liners but this one takes the cake. Speaking on the ‘Mazaaq Raat’ show, the ‘Teri Meri Kahaniyaan’ actress talked about her marriage to actor and television host Mani:
“If I had not married Mani, then I would have been married 5-6 times by now.”
“I am very flirtatous person by nature. When I found Mani, I married him because it was my choice. If I hadn’t found him then I liked a lot of boys…I f hadn’t been Mani’s wife then I would have been married several times.”
This isn’t the first time that actress was quite bold about her love for her husband. In 2021 Hira said to a media outlet that had Mani been married to anyone else, she still would have married him. Referring to the viral incident where she confessed about going behind her friend’s back and stealing Mani’s number, the ‘Yakeen Ka Safar’ actress said she has no regrets.
“People criticise me because I stole Mani’s number from my friend’s phone and messaged him behind her back, but the truth is, I have no regrets. People can say what they want. Even if Mani was married to someone else, I would have married him regardless.”
TV fans were left heartbroken when popular actor, screenwriter and host of the late night comedy show ‘Mazaaq Raat’ Vasay Chaudhry left the show. There was a lot of anticipation about who would be the next person to fill Chaudhry’s shows. Last week it was revealed that the next host would be none other than Imran Ashraf.
A week ago, Ashraf officially began his stint as a television host, requested fans for their love and prayers in an Instagram post.
“Apki muhabbat aur dua ki hamaisha ki tarah zaroorat hai.”
Celebrities like Humayun Saeed, Yasir Hussain and Hira Mani flooded the comments section with positive accolades, and sending their prayers to the ‘Ranjha Ranjha Kardi’ actor for his show.
In a recent post, Imran thanked his fans and everyone else for the love and support he was receiving.
We know our celebrities are incredibly talented, but you have to be talented at a whole other level to be able to go viral because someone has made memes out of your performance. And hum Pakistanis ki tou baat hee kya hai, we’re miserable because of, well, everything, but our meme game is undefeatable.
From Babar Azam’s shock to Hira Mani, here are some hilarious moments that changed pop culture and the phrases you have been hearing to death.
1 Hira Mani went viral when she said “Mard ko bhi tou samjho” in her interview with Samina Peerzada and launched a string of memes.

Saas bahu narrative in dramas; Mani thinks channels know best while Hira says no comment
Ahead of the release of the film ‘Teri Meri Kahaniyaan’, The Current team had a chat with the iconic pair Hira and Mani, who will be starring together in the horror-comedy directed by Nabeel Qureshi, along with veteran actress Gul-e-Rana.
Aside from the questions about their upcoming film and how the two find collaborating with each other on film sets, we asked the couple what they thought about stereotypical dramas that revolve around saas-bahu narratives, and whether its time for scripts to evolve.
To this Mani replied, “This is what people like to watch.”
While Hira said, “I don’t know whether they should change or not, I can’t say anything.”
Hira previously starred in the Kashf Foundation drama ‘Kashf’, in which Hira’s character was someone who had the ability to forsee the future and unfortunate events that will come to pass. It quickly went on to become a fan favourite.
On whether more dramas like ‘Kashf’ should be made for screens, Hira replied: “I feel like everyone should be able to do what they think is right.”
“Channel heads are well aware of what kind of dramas should be made. They are closely watching which dramas are getting good ratings. Look at the current two to four dramas which have become a hit,” Mani opined.
Teri Meri Kahaniyaan is coming to cinemas across Pakistan on June 29.
Pakistani celebrities should stick to their day jobs of making cringe worthy dramas and films, rather than sharing their totkay about how to make marriages last and tips on how to keep their susral happy.
Muneeb Butt made news yesterday when he revealed that they did not have a chef, because his wife Aiman Khan cooks during Ramazan, stating that it improves the emotional connection between wife and husband.
Jee sir, humein batain aap nay kya kiya hai jis say aap ki marriage mein emotional connection improve hui? Or is it just women who need to work to keep the spark alive.
Sadly, this wasnt the only time celebrities did not think before speaking. We have witnessed a spectacle of events in the past few years of some cringe-inducing home making and housewifery tips from the mouths of the leading public figures of Pakistan.
Like the time model Sadaf Kanwal lectured women on how to become their hubby’s nanny by cleaning up after him because obviously feminism and Aurat March is breaking up our families.
A strong women is the one who knows how to babysit her husband… Ajeeb Logics. Bibi pehle ye to decide krlo Sherry ko pta hona chahye ya nahi pta hona chahye. #SadafKanwalpic.twitter.com/tTRUXlgdLE

How to ensure women are respected in their homes and not treated as domestic labor? Nida Yasir thought she was hitting the jackpot when she decided to invite saas and their bahus on national television and encourage them to reveal their petty critiques to everyone. Video courtesy of Ary Digital.
Nida Yasir just topped her own problematic af standards on this show where she invited saas bahus to complain about each other. Other actors like Falak Shahzad Khan, who was also present at the scene of the crime, shared Qureshi’s post on Instagram, and said that he was attacked by the mob, along with Gul-e-Rana and Hira Mani. “We were at the shoot. …they attacked on the team. Got into the house.”
Hira Mani also addressed the incident on Instagram, saying that it was an unfortunate incident to witness. She further wrote that she was grateful for her team members for fighting against the culprits.
‘It was a very unfortunate incident to witness today and I wish and pray no one faces that ever in their life.
I want to thank my team members who fought till their last with the culprits to save us and are very bad condition in the hospital right now.
Please take a moment to pray for their speedy recovery.”
Other actors like Ahsan Khan and Mahira Khan have reached out to send their solidarity to the actors.
Taking to his Instagram page, Ahsan Khan called for law enforcement to take swift action against the group that was responsible for attacking the crew.
“In these days and times security is a must for areas like Jamsheed Quaters. I demand the law enforcement agencies to take swift action in this regard and bring the people responsible for this cowardly act to justice! What happened with Nabeel and his team is not ok and we should stand up for them!”
Actor Mahira Khan had shared Nabeel’s post, and in the tweet she demanded authorities to investigate the perpetuators behind this incident.
“I don’t believe this!! Who is responsible ? Who will answer for this?”

Actor Feroze Khan has supported designer Maria B’s stance on the ban of the feature film Joyland. He compared her mindset to a Rolls Royce with a 100-year road life. The Khaani star dissed several celebrities who are supporting the film and termed them as “rotten scooties”.
Khan tweeted, “Maria B’s mindset – Is like Rolls Royce 100-year road life while “other” you know who are like those rotten scooties. Push push no move, you dirty.” He also asked for the film’s ban earlier in an Instagram story.
An order dated Nov. 11 from Pakistan’s Ministry of Information and Broadcasting says that the country’s censor board had granted a censor certificate to the film on Aug. 17. But it has since reversed the decision.
“Written complaints were received that the film contains highly objectionable material which does not conform with the social values and moral standards of our society and is clearly repugnant to the norms of ‘decency and morality as laid down in Section 9 of the Motion Picture Ordinance, 1979,” the order states. “Now, therefore, in the exercise of the powers conferred by Section 9(2) (a) of the said Ordinance and after conducting a comprehensive inquiry, the Federal Government declares the feature film titled ‘Joyland’ as an uncertified film for the whole of Pakistan in the cinemas which fall under the jurisdiction of CBFC with immediate effect.”
“Joyland” was due to release in Pakistan on Nov. 18.
Saim and his team members are raising their voices against the ban imposed by the government. Terming the ban a “grave injustice,” Sadiq, in an Instagram post, says that the ban is “absolutely unconstitutional and illegal” and has urged the country’s Ministry of Information and Broadcasting to review the decision.
Apart from the movie’s team, several A-list celebrities condemned the ban and extended support to the team.
#ReleaseJoyland ! There is no reason not to. Be proud of the work that our artists create not afraid! Give your own people the respect they get in foreign lands. Support us, stand by us and we as Pakistani artists will make this country proud! https://t.co/6jQizg0Xbx
Actor Hira Mani recently garnered praise for doing fundraising events in America for the flood victims of Pakistan. However there is more that keeps her trending, including several memes by her fans and admirers.
A netizen recently made a meme of Hira which also featured the acclaimed cricketer Naseem Shah. The meme read, “Naseem Shah please instead of this ball, throw me nearby Hira Mani.”
The Sun Yaara diva was quick to respond to the meme on her Instagram story, “Wow wow, you guys should keep being creative like this.”
Naseem is not new to the world of memes, earlier this year, netizens flooded social media after his morphed clip with Bollywood actor Urvashi Rautela surfaced on the web.
Actor Hira Mani took to her Instagram stories to reveal her prayers amidst the ongoing The Minor case. The Kashf star said that she is praying that The Minor and her husband Zaheer Ahmed never get separated. She is confident that the almighty will fulfill her wish.
The Minor was reported as kidnapped in April but later found to have purportedly ‘eloped’ in Punjab was brought back to her hometown on Sunday, her father’s counsel confirmed.
A day ago, a judicial magistrate in Lahore had allowed the Sindh police to take The Minor custody from Darul Aman and safely produce her before a Karachi trial court.
Magistrate Rizwan Ahmad passed the order after hearing the contention of a police official from Sindh and a counsel of the girl’s father.
Earlier in October 2021, Hira celebrated the bail of Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan. Hira took to her Instagram stories and wrote, ‘Mera Piyara sa bacha bahar aagya Allah apka laakh laakh shukar, Mubarak.”
The Bombay HC had granted bail to Aryan, 25 days after he was arrested during a drugs raid on a cruise ship off the Mumbai coast on its way to Goa. He was released today.
