Momina Mustehsan’s duet with Bilal Saeed Baari has crossed 1.5 million views on Youtube in less than 36 hours.
The soft, melodious song has been set in the heart of Lahore in Yousaf Sallauddin’s Haveli, while the iconic Badshahi Masjid can be seen in the background.
Bilal plays a young man visiting the city from abroad. He waits with Rahim Pardesi (who has a special appearance in the song) to catch a glimpse of Momina as she passes by on her way to college with her friends.
According to the singers, the song encapsulates young love and the happiness it brings in life.
“Love is the beginning of everything in life; it leads to unimaginable happiness. This winters, feel the warmth of love with Baari,” reads the caption.
Also would like to add here that we absolutely love the wardrobe which has been done by Mohsin Naveed Ranjha – it perfectly complements the background and setting of the song.
Baari has been written and composed by Bilal who has also produced the music video.
Zeeshan Khan’s directorial debutTalash, starring Ahmad Zeb, Noaman Sami and Fariya Hasan, was recently screened at the UN Headquarters in New York. The feature film focuses on the detrimental impact of malnutrition and stunting on children’s development.
According to APP, the show was arranged by the recently-formed UN staff Recreation Pakistan Club to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the adoption of the UN Convention on the Right of the Child.
Talash has been directed by debutante Zeeshan Khan, who was also present on the occasion. The film’s plot is centred on three medical students who are sent to a remote village in Tharparkar district of Sindh to set up health camps and educate the people there about maternal health. They face many challenges in the feudal setup but manage to be successful in their mission.
APP reported that the film was received positively by those present in the audience. This included Botswana’s UN Ambassador Collen Vixen Kelapile, senior UN officials, including Stewart Simonson, assistant director-general, WHO, and Haoliang Xu, assistant secretary-general, UNDP. They praised the Pakistani movie on its critical subject.
Meanwhile, the cast of the film also shared images from the screening.
Meanwhile, the chief guest at the event, Pakistan’s Ambassador to the UN Munir Akram, told the gathering that Prime Minister Imran Khan, in his first address to the nation, pledged to reduce child stunting and improve maternal health. He said a number of projects have been launched in the country to eradicate hunger and malnutrition in all its forms, especially in under-developed parts of the country.
Rumours are strong that Pakistan’s ‘it’ celebrity couple, Ahad Raza Mir and Sajal Aly are tying the knot in March 2020 and that too in Turkey.
While there has been no official confirmation from the two, speculations are rife and fans are excited for the wedding.
Ahad and Sajal announced their engagement in early June, though people say that the two made it official months before they revealed the news to their fans. Hence, it is quite likely that the two will secretly get married before making an official announcement.
Meanwhile, the two are currently setting our screens on fire with their performances and chemistry in Ye Dil Mera which airs on Hum TV every Wednesday.
It’s wedding season all around. After Ali Xeeshan and Zainab Abbas, actor Sanam Chauhdry tied the knot in an afternoon wedding.

Earlier, in July, there were reports that Sanam had quit acting and will be settling abroad. However, Sanam slammed the rumours and said: “It is a rumor and not true, I have worked so much in the past two years without a break that now I am on a vacation and that is it,” adding that she has several projects in the pipeline.
It appears that we’re not getting over the Danish-Shehwar confrontation anytime soon. Danish’s slap won the internet after the 13th episode of Meray Paas Tum Ho aired last weekend.
After the episode, Humayun Saeed thanked his fans for the appreciation, adding that it “feels strange to ‘like’ or respond to all the excitement on someone being hit though.”
The actor then proceeded to give the credit to his co-star Adnan Siddiqui “whose wonderful reaction to my action has made this sequence such a success.”
صاحب تھپڑ سے ڈر نہیں لگتا پیار سے لگتا ہے ۔دنیا کے سامنے ذلیل و خوار کرکے مجھے آپ میری اداکاری کی تعریف کر رہے ہیں؟
In response to Humayun’s tweet, Adnan shared a video on his Instagram in which he can be heard saying, “Thappad se darr nahi lagta sahab ji, pyaar se lagta hai.”
Adnan also thanked Humayun for his message.
“The way you hit me got the best reaction out of me,” he says in the message.
Ending his video, Adnan laughs and says, “Iss eik thapar nay Shehwar ko do takay ka kardiya.”
Romanian pop band Akcent’s lead singer Adrian Sina, after his concert at the Alhamra Cultural Complex in Lahore, paid a visit to the ISPR Headquarters where he had a “fantastic cup of tea” with DG ISPR Major General Asif Ghafoor.
Taking to Twitter, the singer shared a short video of himself with Gen Ghafoor in which he says, “I am so happy that I had a chance to travel from Romania to Pakistan to meet General Asif Ghafoor and ISPR.”
Sipping on his tea, he added, “I discovered, once again, that Pakistani tea is fantastic.”
Meanwhile, Akcent’s concert in Lahore on Sunday was embroiled in controversy. The pop band was initially scheduled to perform at Governor House to ‘express solidarity with the Kashmiris’.
However, the event drew ire on social media with users questioning the logic behind holding a concert to raise voice for Kashmir. Following the backlash, the Punjab government, including Governor Chaudhry Sarwar and Chief Minister Usman Buzdar, withdrew its support and logistics. The government also did not allow the organisers to provide Kashmir flags to the concert participants. All flexes referring to the oppression of Kashmiris were also pulled down.
Since the Romanian band was invited and payments were made, it performed at the Alhamra Cultural Complex before a large crowed but without any gesture for held Kashmir – it was held as a music concert without any political or diplomatic agenda.

The development upset many including Sina, who was reportedly disappointed that he could not speak a word about the Kashmiris. Sina’s press conference, which was scheduled at the Governor House, was also reportedly cancelled.
Chief Minister’s Taskforce on Women Development chairperson Tanzila Imran Khan, the host of the event, also expressed her disappointed saying that she herself had contacted the band’s lead and made payments from her own pockets to raise voice for the Kashmiris.
Pakistan’s evergreen actor Reema Khan and her husband Dr Tariq Shahab celebrated their eighth wedding anniversary amidst family and friends in a grand party.

There was a cake with a picture of the couple from their wedding.
Reema looked lovely in an outfit by HSY. Meanwhile, Dr Tariq wore an outfit by Munib Nawaz.
Reema and Pakistani-American cardiologist Dr Tariq Shahab tied the knot in in November 2011. On March 24, 2015, Reema gave birth to their first child Ali Shahab.
Actor and model Nimra Khan has vowed never to be fat and she made that clear in a social media post.
Sharing a picture of herself on Instagram, Nimra wrote, “I’ve always been a thin girl. I’m not going to be fat, ever. Let’s get that straight. Nimra Khan is not going to be fat, ever. Okay?”
While Nimra may have decided to pen this caption randomly, the truth is that her statement comes across as problematic and appears that she is fat shaming. And people called out Nimra for doing just that.
Nimra has a little more than a million followers, 1.2 to be exact, and the fact that she is propagating such ideas to them is kind of scary. People across the world are promoting body positivity and are looking beyond size. It is time Pakistan also accepts this whole-heartedly.
It appears that the current political scenario in Pakistan is irking actor Fahad Mustafa, who took to social media to express his frustration.
Without taking any names, Fahad lashed out at the “so called leaders of Pakistan” tweeting, “National TV is all about how kuttay is qaum ko kat rahay hain. We have let too many kuttas out for so long it’s time to pay the price no surprises there.” (National TV is all about how dogs are biting his nation. We have let too many dogs out for so long, it’s time to pay the price.)
National Tv is all about how kuttay is qaum ko kat rahay hain we have let too many kuttas out for so long its time to pay the price no surprises there …I think we deserve this .Well done All the So called Leaders of Pakistan
