    WhatsApp to introduce Instagram’s Boomerang feature soon

    It is so much fun making boomerangs on Instagram and then
    sharing it with your friends. Soon we all will be able to make boomerangs not
    only on Instagram but also on the WhatsApp.

    WhatsApp is reportedly working on a Boomerang feature similar to the one on Instagram. It is in the development stage and soon it will be launched for the users.

    The feature will be available in the Video Type panel for the videos that are less than 7 seconds long. These boomerangs can be shared with friends in your contacts. Also, users can post them as their WhatsApp status.

    WhatsApp
    does allow users to convert their videos into GIFs. But Instagram’s Boomerang
    feature on WhatsApp will be something new and interesting.

    Initially,
    the feature will launch on iOS and later on Android phone.

    Uber driver, who raped nurse, being deported back to India

    An Indian Uber driver, who raped a nurse in Australia while she was unconscious, will be sentenced and deported back to India, Daily Mail has reported.

    According to the details, Manpreet Singh, a year back, was driving through Melbourne’s inner-city of Mulgrave when he came across the intoxicated woman at around 2 am.

    The woman had stopped to vomit after leaving a nearby pub on her walk home when Singh got out of his car and approached her.

    The women, at first, broke free but he continued to follow her. The next thing the woman remembers was waking up at around 5 am to Manpreet raping her at his house.

    The woman managed to escape and alerted the police, who arrested the guy the next day.

    Singh was living in the country on a bridging visa from India and was driving an Uber through another person’s registration at the time of the attack.

    Bridging visas are temporary permits that let you stay in Australia lawfully while your immigration status is resolved.

    Manpreet on Thursday appeared before a court and pleaded guilty.

    Singh was remanded into custody, will be sentenced on September 11 and deported back to India.

    Dr Kelash Garvada is the first-ever Hindu Major in the Ministry of Defence.

    Dr Garvada has earned this position by his sheer hard work and efforts. An MBBS from LUHMS in Hyderabad, the newly appointed Major has also won multiple awards for his contributions, including the Tamgha-e-Difa, Tamgha-e-Baqa, and Tamgha-e-Azam.

    of the constitution which allowed Indian occupied Kashmir to have special

    people from the rest of India will have the right to get property in occupied
    Kashmir and settle there permanently. This is seen as an attempt to dilute the
    demographics of  Indian occupied Kashmir.

      Thousands have taken to social media to show their support and stand with the citizens of the disputed valley. This action of the Modi-led BJP government was widely condemned by social media users from across the globe.

    Islamabad Zoo’s brown bear on the road to recovery

    After the condition of the Himalayan Brown Bear in Islamabad Zoo sparked national outrage, efforts were made by the government and the Ministry of Climate Change to assess the bear’s condition and nurse it back to health.

    And it appears that the outrage and protests were all for good reason because latest reports suggest that the bear has been operated upon and is on the road to recovery. According to a Facebook page, Friends of Islamabad Zoo, a surgery was performed on the brown bear a few days ago by Islamabad’s renowned veterinarian Dr Faisal Khan in consultation with Dr Bilal Khilji, Assistant Director and Veterinarian for the Zoo. The page also shared that the animal will soon return to its enclosure in a few days.

    The public outrage also resulted in the matter of the zoo’s management being resolved. In compliance with the Islamabad High Court order, the authorised officer from Ministry Of Climate Change visited the Islamabad Zoo and notified the new zoo director Mr Altaf Khuro (Director, Zoological Survey Of Pakistan) to take over management and evaluate the status of each animal, their health, food, hygiene of enclosures and general cleanliness of the zoo.

    It is pertinent to mention here that there is an ongoing tussle between the Islamabad Metropolitan Corporation and the Ministry of Climate Change over the management of the zoo. After a petition was filed in the Islamabad High Court against the zoo’s management, the court had handed over management of the city’s zoo to the climate change ministry till August 29. However, the director of Marghazar Zoo is resisting the transfer and is not cooperative. He locked the gates when officials of climate change ministry went to take over control of the zoo.

    Meanwhile, the zoo has also been declared a plastic-free zone and efforts were made to free the zoo from plastic.

    After cycling 4,000 miles through 17 countries for 60 days, the Tour De Hajj team arrived in Saudi Arabia from London on Saturday. The group of cyclists travelling for Hajj received a hearty welcome upon their arrival in Medina.

    Announcing the completion of their mission, the team shared an emotional video of themselves on social media.

    They added, “Hajj begins next week and we touched down Masjid Nabawi just after the Maghreb! The hospitality we received today was incredible. Huge thanks to the Saudi Ministry for looking after us.”

    People admired and we in awe of the dedication of the cyclists and wished the team all the very best.

    As per details, petitioner Advocate Nadeem Sarwar said that Tik Tok was spoiling the young generation as they were wasting their time in making the videos.  The app was promoting vulgarity and giving rise to blackmailing and harassment in society.

    The
    federal government, Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) and Pakistan
    Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) were made parties to the petition
    calling for a ban on the Tik Tok.

    petition requested the court to instruct the PTA to ban Tik Tok in the country The
    court should stop the PEMRA from airing Tik Tok videos, the petition read.
