Umair Jaswal and Sana Javed celebrated their 4 months Nikkah Anniversary yesterday and Umair wrote a cutest love note for Sana on his Instagram account.
“Happy 120 days of bugging the hell out of me. I LOVE YOU,” wrote Umair, “Thank you for making me gain an extra 20 pounds of happiness.”
He further added, “Herr stress ka hal hai kfc and cake, I look like a panda, thanks to you,” and “May we get old and chubby together.”
“But Allah ka wasta hai let me workout and diet from tomorrow, Please,” concluded Umair.
Power couple Aiman Khan and Muneeb But got candid about their relationship in a recent interview with Ahsan Khan. During the interview Aiman also talked about her massive social media following.
Answering a question about the change she felt in Muneeb after the marriage, Aiman stated: “I think Muneeb has become really happy after marrying me.”
Talking about his relationship with Aiman, Muneeb said that marriages survive on understanding, compromises and sacrifices.
He stated: “People say that males are more dominant in our society but let me tell you, in the cities, women are more dominant, especially in the matters of the house. You can’t dictate your wife at home. That’s her department,”
During the interview Ahsan asked Aiman: “Is your following organic and did you aim to have that many followers or do you make content specifically for your account?”
To which Aiman replied: “My social media following is organic.”
“I created my Instagram account 5 to 6 years ago, when I was very new to acting, and I used to do commercials at that time,” adding that when she joined Instagram there were very few users on the platform.
“I have never created my content specifically for Instagram,” she said, adding that sometimes she doesn’t even have pictures to post on Instagram.
During the interview, Munneb also shared that he wants to play the role of a soldier in an ISPR [sponsored] drama, adding that he loves the Pakistan Army.
Talking about why she started acting, Aiman said, “I wanted to do acting, and wanted to come on screen, when people used to see us together [Aiman and Minal] they used to say that we should act in dramas.”
She further added that they both stated acting in commercials from a very young age.
Aiman and Muneeb tied the knot in 2018 and their wedding broke the internet. They also have a one-year-old daughter Amal.
Ayeza Khan has dethroned Aiman Khan to become the most followed Pakistani celebrity on Instagram with 8 million followers. Aiman has 7.9 million followers on the social media application while Mahira Khan follows closely behind with 7 million followers.
“Thank you guys so much for the love and respect! It is exciting to have such a huge number of followers here,” said Ayeza celebrating the milestone.
The actor then went to talk about her journey as an actor and how she focused on her work and not on increasing her Instagram followers.
“I must say that the only reason I am able to celebrate this today is that I know how hard I worked to achieve whatever I have on this day,” said Ayeza. “I never focused my work and life towards getting a bigger number of followers. It never works in the long run. My mother has always taught me that it’s important to work hard and build your legacy and be patient. When you have those all the good stuff comes without you knowing.”
Ayeza further talked about the disproportionate relationship between the numbers of followers and influence one can have.
“Growing number of followers doesn’t guarantee a long term success if you’re hollow from the inside. There is a reason why someone with a few thousand followers on Instagram can have more influence on people than someone with tons of millions of followers,” said Ayeza, adding: “Please don’t be that fool that runs after numbers.”
The actor continued: “For me, I never worked towards growing my Instagram numbers. Instead, I have always focused all my energy into my work, my acting and modelling especially, and the fan following grew itself.”
“I’m thankful to all of you guys because it feels great to have so many people recognise your talent and work, rather than blindly taping that follow button and not even knowing what I actually do,” she concluded.
The Current recently asked its followers some hard-hitting questions and the answers left us quite sad. This was done via a ‘This or That’ poll that goes up in the morning every day in Instagramstories.
We asked people if they think our society is easy to live in? 71% voted that the society is ‘so suffocating’ and we totally agree with your answer.
We also asked why is our society is so suffocating. Here is what our followers thought:
Society is more judgemental about ‘Aurat ghar main rahay’ or ‘Ye kesi naukri hai?’. This one was pretty close.
We also asked for the solution to this problem. 62% of our followers thought that education could help in making our society less judgmental.
Nobody can disagree with that the food is the ultimate catharsis.
This actually made us sad to know that most of the people are not with the one they love.
And the sadder part is that the family is the reason behind it.
41% of our followers are of the opinion that their parents do not know them and the percentage should not be this high.
Do you have your group of friends that is ‘your squad’? 40% of people replied that they do not have enough friends and The Current wishes that they find true and good friends in their life ahead.
This one was quite tough but we are glad most of our followers love what they do.

The book was published in 2008 and won the 40th Man Booker Prize in the same year. Meanwhile, the cast of the movie includes Priyanka Chopra-Jonas and Adarsh Gourav besides Rao. It has been directed by Ramin Bahrani.
In what appears to be a rather confusing episode, it has emerged that the official Instagram account of the Pakistani government is following an account titled ‘мαиσ вєℓι ??’, purportedly run by one Maham, among the total 14 accounts it follows, including President Arif Alvi, Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan and his teammates.
While it is not yet confirm who the handler of the account is or why it is followed by the government of Pakistan, netizens seem to be having a field day coming up with theories as to why does the official government handle follows it.
Among other users followed by the official account are:
President Arif Alvi
PM Imran Khan
Information Minister Shibli Faraz
Radio Pakistan
PM’s ex-information aide Asim Saleem Bajwa
Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed Ahmad
Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi
Foreign Office of Pakistan
PM’s aide in capacity of Minister of State Zulfi Bukhari
Ministry of Overseas and Human Resource Development
UPDATE: Later in the day, The Current was informed by sources that someone from the government’s social media team had accidentally followed the account.
They further said that the Instagram account had now been unfollowed.
Shah Rukh Khan recently posted a picture of himself playing pool on Instagram, captioning it: “As long as there is pink in the world, it will always be a better place.”
The actor was seen sporting long locks in the picture, reportedly his look for his upcoming action-thriller Pathan.
Nabila is at the receiving end of flak for leaving “bitter” comments and mocking a makeup artist Fatima Nasir’s work.
Commenting on Eman Suleman’s post, in which the model had shared pictures from a recent shoot, Nabila wrote: “Great idea, executed badly, especially the Icchra looking hairpiece. When the subject is so beautiful it’s a sin to not up to our game.”
While Nabila’s comments appear to be well-intentioned, her choice of words did not sit well with the makeup artist and model.
Defending Nasir, Eman wrote: “I think it’s a job well done, better than any parlour could have done.”
Instead of ending the debate there, Nabila continued her criticism saying: “In my opinion, the hair finish looks too synthetic and takes away from the regal styling.”
“Obviously we can choose to be reactive or grow from criticism. I prefer the latter,” added the makeup maestro.
At this point, Fatima jumped in to defend her work and explained the process behind the hairdo.
“It’s a lot easier to just criticise someone’s work don’t you think?,” she questioned, to which Nabila replied: “I see you choose to react and defend. All the best.”
During the exchange, Fatima pointed out to Nabila that it was wrong of her to use the word ‘Ichhra’ to describe her work.
“Sorry if I hurt you, but false empathy can be interpreted as false flattery in my dictionary. If I were you, I would investigate how I can improve my finishing skills. But you are not me. Let’s leave it at this,” concluded Nabila.
Soon, models Farwa Kazmi and Rehmat Ajmal also jumped in to defend Fatima and called out Nabila for her comments.
“It’s sad to see such a condensing and wicked comment coming from a very senior artist who has been in the industry for 35 years. One can only claim their right to criticise when they also praise the work others do,” wrote Kazmi.
Similarly, Ajmal wrote that the senior makeup artist’s comments were “quite disgusting and off-putting”.
Farwa further wrote: “If I were you, I would write my opinion and leave my suggestion in a polite way without attacking the artist, the work and the locality which would have been well received.”
“But you aren’t me, you are Nabila. Let’s leave it at that,” she added.
Nabila had earlier come under fire when she had demanded for salons to be opened when coronavirus cases were at an all-time high in Pakistan.
Maya Ali and Hira Mani have crossed five million followers on Instagram. The actors shared the news and excitement on social media and thanked their fans for the love.

Similarly, Hira Mani, who recently said that she has become anofficial singer, announced that she has crossed five million followers on the social media application.
Sharing a goofy picture of herself, Mani wrote: “Thank you for liking me and liking my Instagram and liking my song and liking my face and liking my kids and liking my originality.”
Meanwhile, Ayeza Khan and Aiman Khan are the most followed Pakistani celebrities on Instagram with 7.9 million followers each. Mahira Khan follows closely behind with 7 million followers.
However, Faryal did not let the trolls win and clapped back by posting another photo from the same photoshoot, writing: “This is for the social media trolls. Hoping this platform provides you with that moment of importance you needed to assure your self-righteousness.”
