    Pakistani superstar Mahira Khan has 8.5 million followers. The Raees actress shares candid moments from her life on social media including pictures with no make-up which very few actresses can. She is not very active on social media but should post more considering the amount of work she does.

    It’s been less than 24 hours since little Kabir Hussain made his debut on Instagram and the little one already has more than 3,000 followers. 

    Celebrities including Minal Khan, Ayesha Omar and Sadia Ghaffar dropped adorable comments.

    The Karachi Se Lahore star shared a candid picture of Kabir, posing in the car.

    Netizens cheered the baby on his face reveal with positive comments.

    “He is so cute MashaAllah,” commented an Instagram user. “Awwww mashaAllha,” added another while a third one wrote: “He is so pretty like you!”

    On being asked about a celebrity who’s acting skills she doesn’t like, Ali answered for his wife and took Mahira Khan’s name. However Hira was quick to add that no, its actually a male celebrity whom she dislikes.

    She mentioned that she doesn’t like Yasir’s acting skills at all, adding that he lacks basic manners (tameez), “Its about how you talk to people”.

    The Jhooti actor recently shared a post and added a note that he will leak the movies on cable if they are not released in cinemas anytime soon. 

    Speaking of the digital era, the duo strongly believe that social media is starting to have a strong impact on the industry. “There will come a time when our actors will be girls who’ve risen on TikTok or other social media apps,” Safina said.

    The Qaraar star shared, “There was that shooting that happened at the production house in which a security guard opened fire on our engineer and seven others were injured as well. That was all over the news. A lack of security, late payments and dishonesty. No target oriented work which would mean that if you reach a certain target, this is the level you’ll achieve or be promoted. Actors or artists are investing their own money into social media. They’re getting their own pictures taken, putting in their own efforts to get them published and posted. If I put in this much effort in any other industry, I’d reach such heights in my career.”

    Yasir Hussain has shared a picture of his son, in which the Jhooti star is flaunting Kabir’s first gold ring gifted by his paternal aunt.

    Taking to Instagram, he wrote: “Phuppo ka tohfa.. tohfa tohfa tohfa.”

    “Kabir ki is tasweer mai 2 cheezen bohot ghalat hain 1 toh sona (gold) mard pe haraam hai. 2nd dekho zara boy ko pink kapry pehna diye hain . is se pehly k aap banen mai hi Proud Pakistani social media user ban jata hun,” Yasir wrote sarcastically.

    Earlier, Sonya Hussyn paid Iqra Aziz and Yasir a visit to see their baby boy Kabir.

    “Kabir was delighted to see his star phuppo,” Yasir wrote, sharing a photo of Sonya holding Kabir in her arms. “And phuppo’s face reflects her happiness, too.”

    Iqra and Yasir announced on July 23 that they became parents to a baby boy, Kabir Hussain.

    Celebrity couple Iqra Aziz and Yasir Hussain on Sunday announced that they are expecting their bundle of joy this July.

    Sharing beautiful pictures from Iqra’s godh bharai (baby shower) the couple shared the news with their fans and followers and asked them to pray for them.

    For the event, Iqra chose a gorgeous purple and orange outfit by Fahad Hussayn and the designer has revealed that the dupatta had a special message on it for the mother-to-be. As per details, 100 special messages and prayers in Urdu have been crafted on the embellished dupatta with a floral design.

    In a conversation with Dawn Images, Hussayn recalled Aziz reaching out to him when she was planning her godh bharai.

    “I loved that she was having a godh bharai rather than a westernised bridal shower,” said the designer. “She told me that she wanted to wear something that she could pass on to her child and we started working on a concept. I asked her to come up with a list of 100 duas, which she did with the help of Yasir and her mother.”

    Hussayn then designed 100 different flowers and the messages were embroidered around them.

    “[The duas are] all the wishes she has for her child. If it’s a girl, she wants to pass this dupatta on to her and if it’s a son, then to his wife,” shared Hussayn adding that the list includes advice like “ilm sub say bari daulat hai” (knowledge is the greatest wealth) and “logon ke saath bhalai karo gay toh log bhi tumharay saath bhalai karein gay” (be kind to others and they will be kind to you).

    The organza dupatta was paired with a simple peshwas and gharara in chiffon worked with sacha gota.

    Hussayn also shared that Iqra allowed him to decid the colour himself.

    Iqra was recently featured in Hussayn’s fashion music video Mera Jora that was released earlier this year. Incidentally, the video was filmed shortly after Aziz discovered that she was expecting.

    “I am very happy for her. She’s an extremely genuine person and this is a very happy time for her. She may be at the peak of her career but she’s also prioritising her family life,” said the designer. “I think more than anything else, the coronavirus has made us all realise the importance of being surrounded by family.”
