Kareena Kapoor appreciates Alia Bhatt for becoming a mother at 29

Bollywood star Kareena Kapoor lauded Alia’s decision to start a family at the peak of her career in a recent interview. Kapoor even termed it as the actress’ ‘bravest, coolest’ decision.

In the month of June, Alia Bhatt announced that she is expecting her first child with Ranbir Kapoor. The actress will be embracing motherhood at the age of 29 and Kareena Kapoor Khan is all praise for Alia.

In an interview with Mid-Day, Kareena said, “I think it’s the bravest and coolest decision for Alia. She is promoting her film, looking ravishing as ever. There is no bigger star than her today, and I am not being biased because she is a part of my family. I am saying this because she is a spectacular actor. After delivery, she will go on to do the best of films. She has stood up for the most beautiful [feeling], which is, ‘I want to have a child with the man I love.’ She wants to experience the most beautiful thing in life, and I love her more for that. I am her fan.”

In July 2022, Kareena announced that she is not pregnant with her third child.

The talented actress faced speculation after a picture of her and Saif from their recent family vacation in the UK was widely shared online. “It’s pasta and wine guys… Calm down… I am not pregnant,” the actor wrote on Instagram as she denied rumours she was expecting.

Saif and Kareena, who married in 2012, are parents to sons Taimur Ali Khan, 5, and Jehangir Ali Khan, 1.

Saif is also the father of actor Sara Ali Khan and assistant director Ibrahim Ali Khan, his children with ex-wife Amrita Singh.

Earlier this year the Kambakht Ishq star hit out at trolls for age-shaming her along with her friends Amrita Arora and Malaika Arora after their pictures from Karan Johar’s 50th birthday circulated on social media.

Taking to her Instagram stories, Kareena shared a hard-hitting message to all netizens who keep calling her ‘buddhi’ in social media comments.

Sharing a screenshot of one such post featuring the word in the comments, the actress wrote, “I keep seeing this on comments! If n when I bother to check, unless it’s the one that comes up on top!”

Continuing further and calling out trolls, Kareena Kapoor Khan wrote, “So…. buddhi is meant as an insult?? Cos for me it’s just a word.. a word that means old?! Yes we are older.. n wiser… but you, are nameless, faceless, ageless? And so are your folks?!”

The Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham actress has had to face online users who keep bringing up her age and call her ‘buddhi’ or old, time and time again. Seems like, the Heroine star is done with having to put up with this nonsense and has taken to social media to slam all tagging her with such names.

In April 2022 she was trolled on social media for looking old at cousin Ranbir Kapoor’s wedding with Alia Bhatt.

Netizens associated her aged looks to smoking and other alleged lifestyle habits.

‘Asked me to sleep with his friends, his mother tortured me’: Karisma Kapoor’s shocking revelations on divorce with Sunjay

Not everything about Bollywood actor Karisma Kapoor’s personal life was a bed full of roses. The actress was shining bright on the professional front, but on the personal front, she was struggling to get hold of her life.

The Biwi No.1 star once revealed that her ex-husband Sunjay Kapur auctioned her on their honeymoon night, also told that her life after marriage changed completely

After her breakup with Abhishek Bachchan, with whom she was engaged to get married, Karisma tied the knot with businessman Sunjay Kapur in an arranged marriage set up. However, within few years since they got married, trouble started brewing between the two.

Karisma shared a disturbing story of their honeymoon. She said during their honeymoon, he (Sunjay) forced her to sleep with his friends. And when she said ‘NO’, he beat her up and even quoted her price to one of his friends.

She also alleged that Sanjay was not complying with financial commitments. To that, Sunjay also claimed that Karisma married him only for money.

Karisma and Sunjay got married in 2003 in a grand way and after 11 years of their marriage, the actress filed for divorce in 2014, and they parted way. Their divorce battle was ugly with both Karisma and Sunjay levelling nasty allegations against each other. Karisma also filed a dowry harassment case against Sunjay and his mother Rani.

Not just that, during one of the court hearings for the case, Karisma made a shocking allegation against Sunjay. The actress claimed that once her mother-in-law gifted her a dress but because she was pregnant, she couldn’t fit into the dress. Seeing the same, Sunjay asked his mother to slap her. Karisma stated that Sunjay looked at his mom and told her, “Why don’t you just slap her?”

Karisma also blamed Sunjay for his philandering lifestyle and living with another woman and said that his mother supported all his doings. The actress claimed that Sunjay was still in a physical relationship with his first wife, when they got married.

Karisma and Sunjay were legally battling to get the custody of both the kids and for the same, they washed their dirty linens in public.

The ex flames were granted divorce in 2016, with the former getting custody of their children.

Sunjay was granted occasional visits to his children, Samaira Kapoor and Kiaan Raj Kapoor.

During the divorce battle of Karisma Kapoor and Sunjay Kapur, the former had accused him for marrying her for her wealth while the latter had claimed the marriage to be a rebound for her broken engagement with Abhishek Bachchan. In a throwback interview with the Hindustan Times, Karisma’s father, Randhir Kapoor had revealed that he had never wanted his daughter to marry Sunjay Kapur.

He was quoted as saying, “Everyone knows our credentials. We are Kapoors. We don’t need to run after anyone’s money. We have been blessed with not only money, but our talent can support us for the rest of our lives. Sunjay is a third-class man. I never wanted Karisma marrying him. He has debauchery in his system and never cared for his wife. He has been giving bull*** to her, and living with another woman. The entire Delhi knows how he is. I would not like to say anything more than this.”

In the divorce petition, Sunjay Kapur had also claimed that Karisma Kapoor isn’t a good mother. On this, Randhir Kapoor had commented, “Everyone knows Karisma has always been a good mother. Her husband has been living with another woman. I was against this marriage since day one. The matter is sub judice and hence, I can’t comment further. Eventually, the entire truth will come out.” After a long legal battle, Karisma and Sunjay were granted divorce in 2016.

At present, both Sunjay and Karisma have moved on in their lives. While Sunjay is married to Priya Sachdev and the two have a son together. Karisma, on the other hand, was rumoured to be dating Sandeep Toshniwal, but nothing has been confirmed yet.

‘Will Kareena Kapoor sit with a newcomer?’: Hira Soomro defends Sana Javed amidst controversy

Chupke Chupke fame actor Hira Soomro took to her Instagram handle to share her stance on the on-going Sana Javed controversy.

The young star stated that there is a division of status amongst celebrities and that is needed to be considered during professional collaborations.

She also cited Bollywood star Kareena Kapoor’s example and said that even she will not share her space with a newcomer.

It is to be noted that the behavior of Pakistani film and drama actress Sana Javed has been called inappropriate by other personalities of the industry, while several posts made by other artists on social media also went viral.

Model Fareeha Sheikh wrote a 4 page long note against Sana Javed on her Instagram account after which there were queues of posts against Sana’s negative attitude.

In her post, Fareeha Sheikh termed Sana Javed as unserious and said that “she is not the only victim of Sana Javed’s bad behavior but there are many others like her.”

Talking about the incident that happened to her, Fareeha Sheikh said that Sana Javed does not like to see any other artist in front of her and she needs special protocol, she looks down on others.

Make-up artist Ikram Gohar has also said about the incident that happened to him: Not knowing how to do it, Sana Javed stopped him from using the bathroom of his house for 4 hours, forcing him to go to a nearby restaurant and use the bathroom.

Khan family celebrates Jeh’s birthday in style, half-siblings Sara and Ibrahim load car with gifts

Bollywood stars Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor’s second son Jeh Ali Khan turned one on February 21, 2022.

On the special occasion, the two celebrated the first birthday of the little munchkin with the family. Yesterday Jeh’s sister Sara Ali Khan took to social media to share glimpses from the birthday bash.

Kareena took to social media to share a picture of her sons in a playful mood to wish Jeh on his birthday.

In the picture, Jeh can be seen chasing his elder brother Taimur. Kareena wrote in the caption, “Bhaiii, wait for me I am One today. Let’s explore the world together. REVEALED: How many crores do Katrina, Deepika, Kareena, Alia and others charge per film?

Bollywood is considered to be among the biggest film industries of the world with multiple actors finding a place in the list of highest earning influential personalities. According to a report by Indian trade analyst Himesh Mankad, we have compiled a list of what the leading actresses of Hindi film Industry charge to act in a feature film in today’s time.

Deepika Padukone fetched rupees 15 crore to be a part of both Pathan and Gehraiyaan (It was increased from Rs 12 to 15 crore after the producers opted for an OTT release).

Alia Bhatt charges rupees in the range of 12-15 crores per film, However, the actress decided to cut short her fees to be a part of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s epic, Gangubai as also the Karan Johar directorial, Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani.

Its a tie between Katrina Kaif and Kareena Kapoor, the two actresses, who continue to be among the biggest in today’s time having spent 17 and 21 years respectively in the industry. In terms of longevity and relevance, they have already surpassed many greats and their demand in the market is a testimony of their reach in the audience. Katrina Kaif fetched near about Rs 12 crore for Jee Le Zara, whereas Kareena Kapoor came on board director Sujoy Ghosh’s yet untitled thriller for a sum of Rs 12 crore.

Next in line are Priyanka Chopra and Anushka Sharma. Both of them have slowed down on their work front in Bollywood, however, they fetched big bucks for the last film they signed on for. Priyanka Chopra has got in the range of Rs 10 crore for Jee Le Zara, whereas had signed Sky Is Pink for Rs 8 crore. Anushka on the other hand fetched Rs 8 crore for her soon to release Netflix original. Kangana Ranaut’s acting fees is in the range of Rs 8 to 9 crore.

Most of the actresses in Bollywood have adopted an upfront fees model and Shraddha Kapoor is no different. The actress charged Rs 7 crore to be a part of Luv Ranjan’s next with Ranbir Kapoor.

Taapsee Pannu got Rs 5 crore for Loop Lapeta, whereas Vidya Balan has been a constant at Rs 4 crore for all her films over the last few years.

Kriti Sanon bagged Ganapath for a sum of Rs 4 crore, with Kiara Advani getting on the Raj Mehta directed Jug Jugg Jeeyo for Rs 2.50 crore.

Jacqueline Fernandez and Disha Patani are stable at Rs 2.50 and 2.00 crore per film, whereas Janhvi Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan are twinning even here at a market value of Rs 2 crore each.

Ananya Panday on the other hand is in the vicinity of Rs 1.50 crore.

When Danish Taimoor signed a bold Bollywood film opposite Kareena Kapoor

Actor Danish Taimoor recently bagged the Best Actor Award for his hit play, Deewangi at the Lux Style Awards 2021, however he opened up on a lost Bollywood opportunity in resurfaced interview.

When the Deewangi star appeared on Bol Nights With Ahsan Khan along with his superstar wife Ayeza Khan, he revealed that he was offered to work alongside Bollywood glam girl Kareena Kapoor Khan but due to his misfortune, his big break in India never came.

During the show, the Mehrunisa V Lub U actor disclosed that he was approached for a lead role opposite Kareena Kapoor Khan in the star-studded Bollywood movie Veere Di Wedding which played in cinemas in 2018. According to him, the dates were finalised but then tensions between the two countries escalated in 2016 and he could not go to India to start shooting for the film.

Sharing the details of how he was asked to work with the megastar, Taimoor stated: “We were all ready to go for the shoot but then we got to know that Kareena was pregnant. After Kareena delivered her baby in 2016, the situation between India and Pakistan got worse.”

He was later replaced with actor Sumeet Vyas, who played Kareena’s reel husband eventually.

As the situation worsened between Indo-Pak after the Uri attacks in September 2016.

On the work front, Danish is currently hosting a game show on a local TV channel and is shooting for a romantic serial opposite Dur-e-Fishan Saleem for ARY Digital.

‘Kaali billi’: When Kareena Kapoor slapped Bipasha Basu, grilled John Abraham

Rivalries have been evident in Bollywood since the ages of yore, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Bipasha Basu were embroiled in a fight on the sets of Ajnabee and that did escalate further only to have the two take more digs at each other in the future.

The two stars have worked together in the much spoken about Bollywood drama Ajnabee that released in 2001.

It is said that the 3 Idiots diva was upset that designer Vikram Phadnis who was designated to her, decided to help Bipasha without her consent.

This escalated into a fight that also involved slaps. As per India Today, both went on to have a heated argument.

It is said that Kareena even went on to call Bipasha Kaali Billi, and not just that even slapped her in the heat of the moment.

The Bodyguard heroine decided to give her side of the story to Filmfare in 2002. She had said, “She just doesn’t seem to have any confidence in her own talent. In a four-page interview, she spoke about me for three pages. Why not talk about your work? I think her only claim to fame is that she fought with me during Ajnabee overdress designer Vikram Phadnis. She’s given statements that I called her uncharitable names. Now, that’s a figment of her imagination.”

Earlier Karan Johar asked Kareena on Koffee With Karan if she wants to work with John, she said, “I don’t want to (work) with John Abraham because he is expressionless.”
