‘Manzar Sehbai and Naumaan Ijaz are the coolest seniors’: Duniyapur cast

Stepping onto a new set can make anyone feel nervous, but the cool and friendly seniors in Duniyapur made it easier for younger actors in the cast.

Recently, Khushal Khan, Ali Raza and Shamyl Khan appeared on Gloss Etc by Maliha Rehman, where they shared their experience working with senior actors.

The host asked the actors about their experience of working with veterans Naumaan Ijaz and Manzar Sehbai.

Khushal Khan said, “They are cool people, they are not like the senior types, they just blend in and make you feel so easy and comfortable. Manzar Sahab. Because throughout the scene, he was just there, giving cues without moving even an inch. He would give cues to every actor, and even when it was a master shot with someone else’s close-up, he would just be there in the background.”

    Talking about Naumaan Ijaz.

“Noomi Bhai’s health wasn’t great, but he would travel and shoot in Sargodha. Hats off to him, Manzar Sahab, and Noomi Bhai. Because, I mean, we wouldn’t even consider ourselves in that category we would just be sidelined. We couldn’t complain because there was no heat or anything,” Khushal Khan added.

Ali Raza added a lighthearted note about the makeup process, sharing,

“There’s a requirement for makeup because we need to come on screen, but there’s no makeup in this. It was just a get-up for Ashraf Bhai. I told him that there’s no makeup because we need a raw feel; we don’t want to com e with makeup. Everyone looks good, that’s true, but we didn’t apply makeup. The hair wasn’t done; the jeans and hair were a bit messy.”

The drama is written by Radain Shah and directed by Shahid Shafaat.

The cast of the drama includes Ramsha Khan, Nayyar Eja, Hussain Shah, Yousaf Bashir, Sami Khan, Saima Qureshi, and Erum Akhter.

Love knows no bounds: Khushhal Khan teases fans with storyline of ‘Crossroads’

Famous actor Khushhal Khan, known for his roles in movies like ‘Midsummer Chaos’ and ‘Poppay Di Wedding,’ recently shared some exciting news on Instagram. He posted the first poster of his upcoming movie called ‘Crossroads,’ where he stars alongside Mamya Shajaffar.

Directed by Fahad Noor and written by Eric Berg, ‘Crossroads’ is expected to bring something fresh to Pakistan’s film industry. Khan teased fans with bits about the story in his Instagram caption, saying, “Love has no limits, and neither does our tale.”

He added, “Brace yourself for a groundbreaking cinematic experience as we proudly unveil Pakistan’s first vertically shot film series. Immerse yourself in the whirlwind of emotions as Burak and Haya navigate the unpredictable twists and turns of love. With dialogues available in over 20 languages, this is a tale that transcends borders and proves some emotions never die. Stay tuned for a journey like never before.”

Khushhal himself has views on relationships that are just as romantic as the characters he plays. While appearing on a ‘Mazqrat’ show hosted by Imran Ashraf, the young actor shared interesting insights about love, marriage, and his current relationship status.

When asked about one-sided love, Khushhal took a very romantic stance. “It’s a beautiful thing,” he declared. Because you have all the power in that,” he explained. “You create your perception about how that person is. It’s in your mind as a beautiful image. It’s not dependent on the response from the other end. You’re at peace in your mind.”

Intrigued by his perspective on one-sided love, the interviewer asked if Khushhal had ever experienced it himself, either falling for someone or having someone fall for him. His answer surprised some: “No,” he admitted, “I am just in love with my work.” It seems his dedication to his craft currently takes the place of romantic relationships.

Saboor Aly Drops Shocking Pictures With Khushhal Khan, Leaves Fans in Awe

Earlier this month, the Fitrat star took to her Instagram stories to share her stance on a viral blooper video from the latest episode of her drama Mushkil.

Saboor also took a dig at the drama’s editor.

Recently social media users paused and screen-recorded a scene where Faraz (Khushhal Khan) is fighting with his brother while his wife Sameen (Saboor) is seen laughing in the frame, completely out of character. She snaps back to the character immediately but even the editing department couldn’t cut out the error.

Exposing Saboor’s hilarious acting slip, a fan wrote that it was easily their “favourite” bit from the show. “My favourite bit from the entire show is these guys fighting for life and then the camera pans to Saboor and the girl is out of her character, laughing.”
