The female stalker has a history of stalking V, media reports say this is not the first time she approached the singer.

BTS’s agency BigHit Entertainment addressed the situation with a statement saying they do not tolerate the personal lives of their artists being breached in this manner.

Korean band BTS’s management BigHit Entertainment has announced that they’re taking legal action against fans who are sending packages directly to the band members homes. The band comprises of seven members: Suga, Jungkook, Namjoon, V, J-Hope, Jimin and Jin.

In a statement released on Weverse, the management said a criminal case was filed against the people and investigations are currently underway:

“Hello. This is BigHit Music. Our company regularly initiates legal proceedings against perpetrators of malicious activities related to BTS, including defamation, personal attacks, sexual harassment, the spread of groundless information, and ill-intentioned criticism. We would like to provide an update on these important activities. During this quarter, we filed multiple criminal complaints with law enforcement agencies based on evidence related to acts infringing on the rights of the artists, including defamation, submitted by our fans as well as collected through our own monitoring.”

The statement shared details of some of the packages the fans had sent to the singers homes, which were directly causing harm to their family members.

“In particular, we gathered ongoing evidence regarding individuals who repeatedly sent mails and packages to the artists’ residences, even causing harm to the artists’ families, and filed criminal complaints against them on charges of violating laws regarding stalking crimes (Act on Punishment of Crime of Stalking). The court has issued an interim restraining order, and a prosecutor’s investigation is underway. We remain committed to an upcompromising, zero-tolerance policy in addressing stalking crimes that infringe on the privacy and safety of our artists.”

“A decision was handed down in the second quarter of 2022 declaring a non-suit and halting the investigations against some of the suspects, and we filed objections and requested reinvestigation of these cases. As a result, through prosecution referrals, the suspects were ultimately found guilty of personal attacks and defamation against the artists, and legal penalties were imposed.”

Ending the note, the management requested for the fans to cooperate with them in this investigation.

This BTS member and his dad silently donated to poor families across South Korea

Not just a hero on the stage but a hero behind the scenes as well

BTS’s band member Jimin and his father Park Hyun-soo have been playing an important role in providing groceries for low-income families across South Korea. Since September 2020, Hyun-soo has been using the name ‘Ramyeon Fairy’ to deliver donations in Busan, where he provided at least 100 tuna gift sets and 5,250 boxes of ramyeon to struggling families. He has made a total of eight contributions to households across Nam-gu, which can be valued up to 75.95 million Korean won.

On August 5, Hyun-Soo visited the Nam-gu district office to donate five million Korean won under his son Jimin’s name and also personally delivered boxes of ramen to the office. An official source shared with the Korean media organisation SBS:

“[Jimin’s father] asked us to use the items to ensure that no one in need goes hungry. He personally loaded the boxes of instant noodles onto the truck and left them at the district office.”

Jimin himself is also a charitable icon. In 2021, he donated a 100 million won to polio patients, and then another 100 million won to UNICEF Korea to aid children and families struggling from the earthquakes of Syria and Turkey. Among other donations, the ‘Like Crazy’ star pledged 1200 new desks and chairs to the Busan High School of Arts and then gave away 100 million won to the Busan Metropolitan City Office of Education.

Kindness must be a common quality among the Korean pop band because it’s not just Jimin, but also other members like Namjoon, who aren’t afraid to give back to the community with what they earned. In 2019, on September 12, when the icon turned 25 years old, he donated 100 million Korean won to The Seoul Samsung School, a specialised institute for deaf children, for music education. In June 2020, the group won praise when they donated $1 million to the human rights organisation ‘Black Lives Matter’.

  • Yasir Hussain is looking forward to son Kabir’s friendship with Alia Bhatt’s daughter, netizens react

Yasir Hussain is looking forward to son Kabir’s friendship with Alia Bhatt’s daughter, netizens react

Actor and director Yasir Hussain is known for expressing his controversial takes on social media. Now the Jhooti star has made an unexpected comment while sharing the news of Bollywood actors Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s newborn daughter.

The Baandi star wrote, “Tabhi Aaj kabir bohot khush hai. Do mulkon ki dosti k liye mai tayaar hun.” (No wonder why Kabir is happy today. I am ready to help both nations befriend each other.)

The post was an indirect prediction of Kabir Hussain’s bond with the Kapoor baby.

Netizens trolled the Koyal director’s comments for his statement, registering their opinions.

Yasir yet again received flak for his statement as netizens started a troll fest on social media.

Hussain recently grabbed headlines for mocking actors who claimed to skip Hum Awards, in solidarity with the flood victims.

The Lahore Se Aagay hero wrote, “Jo actor(s) baqwas kar rahay hain ke wo khud nahi gaye, unko business class ticket nahi di. Maine chat parhi hai beta. (I have read the chats, the actors who are claiming utter rubbish that they skipped the award show themselves, weren’t provided with business class tickets.)”

Hussain’s statement for actors who skipped the award show came after Azfar Rehman announced on Instagram that he opted out of his participation in the 2022 HUM Awards in Canada to express solidarity with the flood victims in Pakistan.

The Aatish star was praised by his industry colleagues and netizens for his generous act.

He said he has withdrawn “by choice with due respect to the coveted event”.

“Sorry to disappoint my fans in Toronto Canada, I shall not be attending the HUM Awards this year even though I’m nominated in the best actor in a negative role category. I stand in solidarity with my brothers and sisters drowning in the floods. I request the authority at the awards to kindly donate my ticket and stay money to the flood relief,” he wrote, adding the hashtag Pakistan Zindabad.

Celebrities like Ayesha Omar, Mehwish Hayat, Nadia Afgan, Ali Kazmi, Sadaf Kanwal and Shagufta Ejaz praised Rehman for his stance.

The award show organisers and attendees were scrutinised on social media for their timing. Amongst these attendees was Yasir Hussain, who has now made an indirect dig at Azfar.

Although Hussain didn’t tag Rehman in his post but since Azfar is the only mainstream actor who announced this publicly, it is pretty evident that Yasir has slammed him.

Last year on Aagha Ali and Hina Altaf’s The Couple Show, Yasir Hussain said that Azfar thinks that he’s a great actor but he’s absolutely not.

A netizen recently commented a derogatory remark under his post, calling him, “a barking dog and a flop actor”.

Yasir sarcastically replied to the troll by saying, “MashaAllah language.”

  • Samsung’s new robotic mouse will run away if you overwork

Samsung’s new robotic mouse will run away if you overwork

Samsung has introduced a brand-new computer mouse that isn’t like any other mouse and was made specifically to prevent people from overworking.

When you start working a lot, the mouse, the Samsung Balance Mouse, takes off from the desk. This is undoubtedly true, but Samsung’s new computer mouse not only functions like a real mouse but also appears to be one. The mouse, however, is still a concept mouse that was developed in partnership with an advertising agency, thus it is not yet for sale.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I5m3rathq7s

On Samsung’s Korean YouTube channel, a video demonstrating the Samsung Balance Mouse has been posted. Improving the work-life balance in Korea was the main motivation behind the design of the Balance mouse. In its ad, Samsung claimed that most office workers are reluctant to leave early.

People are constantly under enormous pressure to finish their unfinished business before leaving the office. They occasionally have a lot of extra work to do.

In the video, Samsung claims to have developed a device that will address the issue of overworking. The manufacturer claims that although it looks like a regular mouse, it can prevent users from working longer than is necessary.

The wheels emerge from the body and flee when the opportunity arises because it recognises hand gestures, according to Samsung in the video. The video also explains that you are very mistaken if you believe you can simply grab the mouse as it tries to flee.

The mouse moves too quickly, which is why. Even if you do succeed in grabbing the object, the mouse’s central component ejects. By purchasing the Balance Mouse, Samsung encourages people to enjoy their lives outside of work.

  • Samsung is getting out of LCD business by the next month

Samsung is getting out of LCD business by the next month

Samsung Display has decided to cut its LCD production unexpectedly by July 2022. The stoppage was originally planned for December, but it can now take place as soon as the end of this month.

According to insiders, Samsung’s competition has been quite harsh, and the company wanted to avoid further losses.

Keeping in view previous Display Supply Chain Consultants (DSCC) reports, the price of LCD panels is only 36.6 per cent of what it was in 2014, when production was at its peak. BOE, a Chinese display manufacturer, and AU Optronics, a Taiwanese company, are also offering lower prices to customers.

Samsung had planned to exit the LCD business in 2020, but lockdowns caused by the COVID-19 pandemic increased demand for home entertainment on low-cost devices like affordable TVs and smartphones. As a result, Samsung was forced to postpone this significant step.

Samsung officials have yet to respond to a request for comment, but we expect to learn more about the shutdown’s financial implications in July when the tech giant releases its Q2 earnings report.

As per the Korea Times, people’s interest in LCDs has waned, while they are increasingly drawn to display technologies such as Quantum Dot and OLED.

A US market research firm also revealed the LCD panel price index has fallen dramatically since late 2021 and is now down 60 per cent year on year.

Moreover, in recent years, smartphones have also shifted from LCD displays to OLED displays.
