  • After ‘Harry Potter’, ‘Twilight’ is coming to television screens

    It seems like we’re heading back to 2008 again. ‘Harry Potter’ is set to be adapted into a television series and now the popular young adult fantasy romance series ‘The Twilight Saga’, written by Stephenie Meyer, is going to get a television adaptation as well.

    According to The Hollywood Reporter, the project is in the early stages of development at Lionsgate Television and has already gotten a script writer, Sinead Daly. Sources are already saying that Daly is working with the production house on the angle the series should take, and whether it will be a remake or completely divert from Meyer’s books.

    The news has arrived just after HBO Max announced that a television series based on the ‘Harry Potter’ series is officially in the works, with writer J.K Rowling set to work as executive producer.

    In an old interview, Hollywood actor Kristen Stewart expressed her admiration for Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan and said she wants her baby to look like him.

    The Twilight actor said, “If I have a baby boy, I would want him to look like Hrithik Roshan, but with Rob’s (Robert Pattinson; her then-boyfriend) eyes.”

    The old 2012 clip is back again in the limelight in which Stewart also shared that she would ‘love’ to work with Roshan. The actor, ahead of the release of her final Twilight saga movie, Breaking Dawn Part 2, was asked about Hrithik in an interview when she commented on the Bollywood heartthrob.

    Roshan who just turned 48 admitted he felt happy after the news and it lifted his mood on a particularly bad day for him.

    At that time, there were reports that both [Stewart and Roshan] were being considered for a movie. However, the movie never got made.

    American A-list actor Kristen Stewart has confirmed her forthcoming marriage with girlfriend Dylan Meyer.

    In 2019 October, they became Instagram official in a black and white photo of them kissing each other.

    The Twilight star is all set to marry her girlfriend and actor Dylan Meyer, who she has been dating for over two years. Kristen shared the news of her engagement during an appearance on SiriusXM’s The Howard Stern Show and also said that a wedding is underway, reported  E! News.

    “We’re marrying, we’re totally gonna do it. I wanted to be proposed to, so I think I very distinctly carved out what I wanted and she nailed it. We’re marrying, it’s happening,” she said.

    Rumours of Kristen and Dylan Meyer dating first began in summer of 2019, when the actress and screenwriter were spotted kissing in New York.

    On the work front, Kristen is currently promoting Spencer in which she is playing the role of late Princess Diana.

    Last year, during an interview with InStyle Magazine, the twilight diva said, “I was going out every day knowing I’d be photographed while I was being affectionate with my girlfriend, but I didn’t want to talk about it. I did feel enormous pressure, but it wasn’t put on me by the [LGBTQ+] community. People were seeing those pictures and reading these articles and going, ‘Oh, well, I need to be shown’. I was a kid, and I felt personally affronted. Now I relish it. I love the idea that anything I do with ease rubs off on somebody who is struggling.”

    Dylan is an actor and a writer. She is known for films such as Moxie, Rock Bottom and Miss 2059.

    After Emma Corrin’s brilliant performance in the fourth season of Netflix’s The Crown, Hollywood star Kristen Stewart is all set to step into the role of the ‘People’s Princess’, Diana, in an upcoming film titled Spencer.

    As per details, Stewart was roped in for the role in June 2020. The film is helmed by Pablo Larraín.

    In a first look unveiled on Wednesday, January 27, the Twilight actress embodies Princess Diana in a red blazer and a black hat with a veil. Stewart is also sporting Di’s signature short blonde hair.

    According to Deadline, the film will be “a drama that shapes up to be a hot package for the virtual Cannes Market. The Steven Knight-scripted film covers a critical weekend in the early ‘90s when Diana decided her marriage to Prince Charles wasn’t working, and that she needed to veer from a path that put her in line to one day be queen.”

    “The drama takes place over three days, in one of her final Christmas holidays in the House of Windsor in their Sandringham estate in Norfolk, England.”

    Timothy Spall, Sally Hawkins and Sean Harris are also part of the cast.

    Spencer has begun principal photography. It will be shot in both Germany and the UK. Spencer is scheduled to release in Fall 2021, ahead of Diana’s 25th death anniversary in 2022.
