I was traveling with Azfar Rehman, and his driver was speeding on the highway. During the accident, I hit the back of the front seat, which resulted in a fractured collarbone. It happened because I wasn’t wearing a seatbelt.”

The actress then went on to talk about recovery and a healthy mindset. “Your thoughts are linked to everything. It’s a scientific fact: what you think becomes your emotion. These stressful thoughts affected me because your body releases cortisol, a hormone that responds to danger or stress. Unnecessary stress isn’t good for our health because it has a negative impact on our mental and physical well-being.”

In a candid discussion with Nadia khan, Aijaz reflected on his childhood, recalling how he struggled with being overweight during his early teenage years.
“I used to be quite overweight, around the age of 12 or 13. I was very bulky; my waist size was 42. I had developed the habit of wearing designer clothes because of my size. Aijaz Aslam, not being able to fit into anything, was only considered cute by my sisters. Otherwise, I faced a lot of bullying, with people making fun of me for being fat, and I couldn’t run or be active. It felt strange to see so many fit boys of my age in my class and wonder why I wasn’t like them.

I thought about what was lacking in myself and changed, instead of dwelling in jealousy or depression, wondering why I wasn’t becoming like them. Instead, I started working out, and with time, I caught up with them. When my friends, whom I hadn’t seen in years, couldn’t recognize me and were inspired by my transformation, and when I sat with those boys and felt proud of myself, I realized that I have made an effort. Then I didn’t feel jealous anymore; I started feeling good.”
