Want to lose weight? Listen to Aijaz Aslam

Aijaz Aslam, a prominent figure in the entertainment industry, has amazed audiences with his talent and performance on screen.
He also hosts the Ramadan transmission show Life Green Hai on Green Entertainment.

In a candid discussion with Nadia khan, Aijaz reflected on his childhood, recalling how he struggled with being overweight during his early teenage years.
“I used to be quite overweight, around the age of 12 or 13. I was very bulky; my waist size was 42. I had developed the habit of wearing designer clothes because of my size. Aijaz Aslam, not being able to fit into anything, was only considered cute by my sisters. Otherwise, I faced a lot of bullying, with people making fun of me for being fat, and I couldn’t run or be active. It felt strange to see so many fit boys of my age in my class and wonder why I wasn’t like them.

I thought about what was lacking in myself and changed, instead of dwelling in jealousy or depression, wondering why I wasn’t becoming like them. Instead, I started working out, and with time, I caught up with them. When my friends, whom I hadn’t seen in years, couldn’t recognize me and were inspired by my transformation, and when I sat with those boys and felt proud of myself, I realized that I have made an effort. Then I didn’t feel jealous anymore; I started feeling good.”

Pak Suzuki discontinues Bolan’s AC variant after one year

Pak-Suzuki Motor Company (PSMC) will no longer sell the Suzuki Bolan’s AC variant. After almost 15 years, this variation was finally introduced last year, and tragically, its production will cease once again.

The company’s decision to stop producing the AC variant of the Suzuki Bolan is a blatant indication that it has failed to pique consumer interest for a variety of reasons, some of which include its inflated cost and the extraordinarily uncomfortable ride.

Despite all of these factors, other variants of Suzuki Bolan are extremely common in Pakistan and are seen running on almost every road and in every city.

The first Suzuki Bolan with AC was introduced in 2006-2007, however it was a flop due to overheating, poor engine performance, and subpar AC.

Moreover, the Bolan’s engine is housed underneath the driver’s seat, which makes it extremely challenging for the driver and front passenger to sit, particularly when the engine is hot.

Despite expectations that the AC variation would be successful this time, it was not able to attract buyers.

The Pakistan Post has suffered a loss of Rs61 billion in the last 10 years.

According to reports, the Ministry of Postal Services, while presenting statistics regarding organisation’s performance, told the Senate Standing Committee that the institute faced a loss of Rs140 million in year 2008-2009 and this loss swelled to Rs10 billion in 2018-2019.

The ministry while explaining the causes of this huge loss
said that the increase in pay, allowances and pension benefits was a major
contributor to widening gap between expenditure and revenue.

They said that the Finance Division had decreased the rate
of post office commission in Savings Bank Scheme from 1.56% to 0.50% in
October, 2010 which reduced the receipts of the institute.

The panel’s chairman Senator Mian Ateeq observed that the situation of the postal service was no different from the Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) – the national flag carrier –facing huge losses since over a decade.

The chairman also suggested that the operating expenditure
against income must be added as well. While reviewing recruitment discrepancies
during previous regimes, the panel recommended that Pakistan Post must focus on
    figures.
