  • Why did Kubra Khan find the first 15 minutes of ‘Noor Jahan’ annoying?

Why did Kubra Khan find the first 15 minutes of ‘Noor Jahan’ annoying?

Actress Kubra Khan recently appeared on Gloss Etc by Maliha Rehman, where she shared her thoughts on the popular drama ‘Noor Jahan’. While many viewers are relating to the controlling mother-in-law character, Kubra revealed that she was actually annoyed by the first 15 minutes of the drama.

Kubra Khan said, “To be honest, I was annoyed with the very first 15 minutes of the drama. The way Musaddiq has shot the sequence where a wife thinks her husband is planning her birthday, but it turns out to be an event for his mom, was super annoying. And what’s even more frustrating is that this is how people generally live here, and many were able to relate to it.”

The story of the drama revolves around Saba Hamid’s Noor Jahan, a wealthy and dominant mother of three sons. She controls every aspect of their lives, but her strict rules and plans lead to unexpected challenges that test the family’s bond and shape their futures.
The drama is written by Zanjabeel Asim Shah and directed by Musaddiq Malik. It airs on Friday and Saturday at 08:00 PM on ARY Digital.

Work first, love later: Haris Waheed’s advice for actors

Actor and model Haris Waheed appeared as a guest on Journalist Maliha Rehman’s YouTube show and made some interesting revelations. In the show, he opened up about his romantic scenes with co-actors and shared a list of his favourite co-stars.

Talking about romance with co-actors, Haris Waheed said, “It’s not recommended to get romantically involved with co-stars because you’re here to work, not to pursue personal desires. If someone wants romance, they should do so outside of their workplace.”

Giving some leeway, Waheed added, “If there is honesty between the two people, it will eventually make its way.”

Talking about his favourite co-stars, Waheed said, “I enjoyed working with Zara Noor Abbas in Jhoom. In Jaan E Jahan, Tabraiz and Gulraiz also had great on-screen chemistry. Credit goes to Qasim Ali Mureed too; the chemistry you see is because of Nawal, me, and Qasim Ali Mureed. I also recently enjoyed working with Mashal Khan. Working with Sania Saeed is something I love. Saboor Aly, who I worked with in ‘Mujhe Wida Ker’, is naturally subtle and reactive. Working with her was a great experience.”
