    Man arrested for making videos of women in park without their permission

    A man in Lakki Marwat, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, was arrested on Monday for filming women in a recreational park without their consent

    According to the park’s administration, the man recorded videos of burqa-clad women when they were getting on to a ride in the recreational zone.

    The park has a separate area for females. The ride was restricted to men at the time the women were boarding and taking the ride.

    According to the local police, a First Information Report (FIR) has been filed against the suspect. They further stated that other individuals verbally abused the women while the man was filming them.

    In a separate incident, three foreigners, including two women and a man, were harassed by a mob in Shakarparian in Islamabad on Independence Day. In videos that have gone viral on social media, some men could be seen surrounding and harassing the tourists.

    A man was allegedly fired for arriving 20 minutes late to work for the first time in more than seven years. One of the sacked employee’s coworkers posted about the incident.

    Reddit user @No_StopItStepbro in a post wrote, “Co-worker who has never been late in 7+ years, gets fired for the first time being late.”

    “This happened last week and today Monday we just found out he was fired for being 20 minutes late FOR HIS FIRST TIME EVER… tomorrow me and ALL my coworkers will be late and will continue to come in late until they rehire him.”

    The post added that as a mark of protest, all the employees of the company have decided to come late to the office until the person is rehired by the company.

    The post has generated at least 4.1k comments with several people sharing their stories of coming late to work.

    Thailand has reported a case of a human being infected with Covid-19 through a cat. The case was reported in Nature, a science journal.

    As per the study published on June 6 titled “Emerging Infectious Diseases” and cited by the journal, a father and son duo who tested positive for SARS-CoV-2 in August were reportedly kept in isolation at the university hospital. The household cat tested positive as well.

    The cat sneezed in the veterinarian’s face as it was being swabbed. The surgeon had no eye protection but was covered up with gloves and a face mask. Three days later, she developed a fever.

    Genetic testing proved the vet and the cat shared the same variant.

    However, according to researchers, such instances of cat-to-human transfer are quite uncommon.

    A woman in India forgot to wish her brother on International Brother’s Day this year, after which he stopped picking up her calls and blocked her on WhatsApp. To make it up to him, she wrote a 434-meter-long letter on billing rolls that weighed more than 5kg. It took her 12 hours to complete the letter.

    “I forgot to wish him. I usually call him or send him a text on Brother’s Day but I forgot this year due to my busy work schedule. I saw he sent me screenshots of all the wishes he received from others. We share a mother-son relationship. I was sad because he stopped talking to me and even blocked me on WhatsApp,” Krishnapriya told the media.

    “We have a seven-year age gap. So he respects me and fears me a little like a mother or a teacher. We are very attached to each other and share a very friendly relationship,” she added.

    “I was hurt and disappointed when she did not wish me on Brother’s Day this year…She must have felt bad about what happened and that is why she wrote the letter. I was very happy when I received it,” said Krishnaprasad, brother of Krishnapriya.

    Krishnapriya thinks that this could be the longest letter ever written and has submitted an application to the Guinness Book of World Records.

    A man opened fire at two employees of a restaurant for putting too much mayonnaise in the sandwich. One employee was killed and another was injured. The man claimed that his sandwich had too much mayonnaise. The incident took place at an Atlanta sandwich shop.

    Before shooting two female employees, according to the police, the man argued with them.

    “This was a very tragic situation that did not have to occur,” Atlanta police Deputy Chief Charles Hampton Jnr told reporters on Monday.

    According to the police, the deceased was a 26-year-old woman. The second woman, a 24-year-old, was shot in front of her 5-year-old child and is currently being treated in a hospital in critical condition.

    A 28-year-old man in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Mahmoodullah, has lodged a complaint against his father for not allowing him to get married. A complaint lodged by Mahmoodullah states that he is trying to avoid sinful activities but his parents do not care about him and no efforts are being made by them to get him married, BBC Urdu reports.

    Mahmoodullah’s father Moin Gul was called by the police for clarification.

    Moin said: “I am aware of my responsibilities towards my son but if he is disobedient and irresponsible, then how can I put someone’s daughter’s future at stake for him?”

    Moin Gul said that his son is a troublemaker who sometimes takes money from him and then spends it unwisely. He told the police that his son had been arrested once.

    According to DSP Asif Khan, Mahmoodullah has now promised to improve himself. His father says that if he shows responsibility, they will get Mahmoodullah married.

    A nine-year-old child was murdered by his uncle after a quarrel with his mother in Mandi Bahauddin City of Punjab, reports ARY.

    The police said that the accused dumped the child’s dead body in a canal after the gruesome incident. According to police, the accused had a quarrel with mother of the minor child and after he murdered the minor to avenge on his mother.

    The police officials informed that the minor went missing from his home on Sunday evening. However, his dead body was recovered from a canal after the accused was arrested on suspicion.

    A man in Iran allegedly beheaded his 17-year-old wife and walked on the streets with her head in his hand, Iranian media outlets reported. As per media reports, the incident took place in the southwestern city of Ahvaz. The girl had travelled to Turkey, but she was brought back to Iran with the help of her father.

    The man beheaded his wife in front of many people in a city square followed by parading the city with her head in his hand on February 5. The video of the man walking on the streets with a knife and his wife’s head in his hands went viral on social media.

    As per media reports, two brothers were arrested four hours after the incident took place. Moreover, they have confessed to their crime. The case is under investigation.

    Iran has shut down a news website after it published an image of the man holding the head of his wife in his hand. According to the report, a media supervisory board on Sunday decided to close Rokna website because of its continuing to “publish images and issues that violate public decency”.

    A man convicted of remarrying without the permission of his first wife has been arrested in Lahore High Court. The convict was sentenced to six months imprisonment and a fine of Rs 560,000 in December last year by trial court. However, he ran away before getting arrested.

    Ghulam Rasool, who had remarried without permission from his first wife, had come to the Lahore High Court to file an appeal against the sentence, where he was arrested.

    A one-member bench of the Lahore High Court will hear the appeal against the sentence next week. Ghulam Rasool has requested the High Court to suspend the sentence till the decision on his appeal. The accused’s first wife had filed a case against her husband for remarrying.

    A man in China allegedly attempted suicide because of his unmarried son, reports Geo News. According media reports, the incident took place at Shanghai Railway Station on January 22 when an unidentified 55-year-old man suddenly fainted after handing over a piece of paper to a security guard.

    “People my age have become grandparents in the village but you are still not married, because of you I am living a very embarrassing life,” the note read.

    As per media reports, the man tried to commit suicide with pesticides. He was rushed to a hospital, where he was given immediate medical attention. The man is now out of danger.

    He has claimed that he met his son in Shanghai before attempting suicide.
