    Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, the Foreign (FM) Minister of the country, is one of the most eligible bachelors in Pakistan, whose wedding is being highly anticipated by all.

    At the age of 33, this young politician’s marital status evokes curiosity in a lot of Pakistanis about his plans to tie the nuptial knot.

    In a video shared by Arab News on Twitter, a journalist was heard asking the FM, “There are my Pakistani friends asking if you have any plans to marry.”

    Bilawal replied smilingly, “Of course, I have plans to marry.” However, he stopped short of disclosing any other details.

    The journalist again questioned, “When?” But Bilawal Bhutto Zardari had no time to answer as he moved away along with the Pakistani delegation.

    Talking about his marriage to The Current in 2019, Bilawal had said, “The right candidate will first have to win over the hearts of my sisters. I have to take them into confidence. And winning over the hearts of my sisters is a very difficult task for any girl.”

    The son of former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto and former President Asif Ali Zardari, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari is also brother to younger sisters Bakhtawar and Aseefa.

    A 63-year-old Saudi man has claimed that he tied the knot 53 times for ‘stability’ and ‘peace of mind’ but not ‘personal pleasure.’

    The man named Abu Abdullah, while talking to Saudi-owned television said that he is now married to just one woman and does not plan to remarry.

    “When I married for the first time, I did not plan to marry more than one woman because I felt comfortable and had children,” he said while recalling details of his first marriage.

    “But after a while, problems arose. I decided to marry again when I was 23 years old and informed my wife of my decision.”
    “I married 53 women over long periods. The first was when I was 20 years and she was six years older than me,” he said.
    According to him, his shortest spell of marriage was for one night. “Every man in the world wishes to have one woman and remain with her forever…. Stability is not to be found with a young woman, but with an old one,” he added.

    “Most of my marriages were to Saudi women.” Abu Abdullah said he had also married foreign women during his overseas business trips. “I used to stay for three to four months. So I married to protect myself from vice,” he said.

    He said that he tried to treat all his wives fairly.

    The two collaborated for the first time on HUM TV’s Sanwari where the sparks flew between them. The dynamic duo went onto work together in an episode Geo’s Dikhawa and ARY’s Mere Apne.

    Politician and television host Dr Aamir Liaquat Hussain was found dead on Thursday at his residence.

    He was found unresponsive at his house and was rushed to Aga Khan University Hospital.

    Several prominent celebrities like Zara Noor Abbas, Sanam Jung, Feroze Khan, Humaima Malick, Faysal Quraishi, Yasir Jaswal among others took to Instagram and shared the news with prayers for the departed.

    A woman in India is all set to marry herself on June 11. Kshama Bindua a 24-year-old woman will take the ‘saat phere’ with herself on June 11.

    “I never wanted to get married. But I did want to become a bride. So I decided to marry myself”, said the girl while talking to Indian media. “Maybe I am the first to set an example of self-love in our country,” she added.

    She’s even planning a two-week vacation for herself, complete with wedding customs.

    In India, an elderly couple is suing their son and his wife for failing to provide them with a grandchild.

    Sanjeev and Sadhana Prasad claim to have spent all of their savings on their pilot son’s education and an extravagant wedding. They now seek retribution.

    “My son has been married for six years but they are still not planning a baby,” the parents said in their petition filed with a court in Haridwar last week. “At least if we have a grandchild to spend time with, our pain will become bearable.”

    Thy are seeking a compensation of more than Rs one crore, twenty five lakh from the couple if they are unable to have a child within the next year.

    The parents spent $65,000 (12532734.50 PKR) to get their son trained as a pilot in the US only for him to return to India unemployed. Mr Prasad claims that he is suing his son because he married in 2016 with the “hopes of having a grandchild.” He also claims that his daughter-in-law and her family have financial control over his son and have prohibited them from having a kid.

    “We also had to take a loan to build our house and now we are going through a lot of financial hardships,” the couple said in their petition. “Mentally too we are quite disturbed because we are living alone.”

    Mr Prasad and his wife are seeking compensation for financial and emotional losses, according to AK Srivastava, the lawyer representing them.

    “The couple has the freedom to not give birth to a child, which is why we are asking to be compensated. The amount is the money Mr Prasad has spent on his son’s upbringing,” said their lawyer.

    A newly-wed couple in Tamil Nadu received petrol and diesel as gifts at their wedding ceremony, Indian media has reported. Girish Kumar and Keerthana the knot at Cheyyur in Tamil Nadu’s Chengalpattu district.

    In the video being widely shared on social media, the married couple can be seen accepting the gifts with a smile on their face.

    As per reported by Indian media, the country saw 14 price hikes in the price of petrol and diesel in 14 days.

    This is not the first time that a couple has received such gift. In August 2021 a newly-married couple in India received five litres of petrol as a gift at their wedding reception.

    As per reports, a Tamil comedian named Mayilsamy gave an unusual gift to the couple. The images of the wedding ceremony and the gift have gone viral on social media platforms.

    The Punjab cabinet has approved an amendment to the West Pakistan Rules under Muslim Family Laws Ordinance 1961 and has included a new clause according to which couples planning to marry would have to take oath at the moment of nikkah to testify to their belief in the finality of Prophethood (PBUH).

    The amendment was approved in the 51st provincial cabinet meeting. The cabinet met with Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar.

    In October 2021, the Punjab Assembly unanimously passed a resolution to include ‘finality of Prophethood’ in the Nikkahnama (Marriage Certificate). The resolution was jointly tabled by Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid’s (PML-Q) Khadija Omar, Bismillah Chaudhry, and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s (PML-N) Maulana Ilyas Chinioti.

    The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Tuesday ruled that girls under the age of 18 can not get married, reports ARY News. An IHC court led by Justice Babar Sattar gave a thorough ruling on the underage marriage bill. The ruling also prohibits parents from marrying off girls aged less than 18 years.

    The verdict was announced during the hearing of the 16-year-old Savera Falak Sher case.
    . The mother filed the case in May of last year, alleging that her daughter had been kidnapped and forcibly married. The girl claimed in court that she had married out of her own free will.

    However, the court has ordered the girl to be returned to her mother.

    In its detailed ruling, the Islamabad High Court noted that any marriage involving a kid under the age of 18 is forbidden. The court further directed the cabinet division to place the matter pertaining to the Muslim Family Law Ordinance before the parliament .
