Meera, our absolute favourite Lollywood diva, never fails to shock and intrigue with her revelations and attention grabbing behavior.
During the interview the host Ambreen Fatima asked, “When will we get to see Meera alongside Fawad Khan?”
Meera said, “There’s a lot of talk going on about Fawad Khan, but it depends on the director’s decision. If I’m alive, I’ll definitely work with him if the opportunity arises.”
Fawad Khan has starred in dramas like Humsafar, Zindagi Gulzar Hai, and Dastaan. He also worked in films like The Legend of Maula Jatt, Khoobsurat, Ae Dil Mukshil, and Money Back Guarantee. Fawad’s upcoming series Barzakh will air on Zee Zindagi on July 19.

After Meera’s statement came out, the Chief Minister responded on X (formerly Twitter), saying, “Sweet of her.”
Lollywood queen Reema Khan has shone on Pakistani screens for many years. However the superstar never acted in a Bollywood film, not even when many actors from here were starring in Indian projects.
Now, the actress has shared that she got offers to act in Bollywood, but she chose not to and preferred working in her own country. In a recent episode of GEO comedy show Hansna Mana Hai, a fan asked if her co-star Meera got an offer from Bollywood. Reema explained, “I attended the Bharat Awards ceremony, and I was offered films. However, I believe Meera has a lot of talent. I’ve seen her work in the past, and I didn’t like her working style.”
Reema said, “After observing how they work, I feel it’s better to have your own small place than being in a grand palace where you feel ashamed.” When asked about the respect she receives in India, she mentioned, “Certainly, many people in India respect us, but just like there are supportive groups, there are also those who don’t want Pakistani artists there. They don’t want Pakistanis in the Indian industry.”
Reema added, “There are many people in India who warmly welcome Pakistanis, but these specific groups have a significant influence.”

“If you wish to be successful or live a peaceful life, you must forget about what people will say…If you love me, what does my age, personal life, or past have to do with it?” she declared.
However, the actress said after living a public life, she now prefers to remain out of the news, humorously answering a question from an audience member:
“When I was in the news, people had objections that I’m constantly in the news, always on television. Now that I’m not in the news, how do you feel now?” She continued, “Those in print media would write, ‘Learn the talent of staying in the news from Meera Jee.’”

The Ishq Zah-e-Naseeb diva reminded everyone that just because most of us can pass comments in the shadows, without ever having to worry about our reputation being dragged through the mud; does not mean we’ve earned the license to publicly shame people in the limelight.
“Just because you can hide behind the anonymity of a cyber-network, doesn’t give you a right to make fun of other people,” the Ye Dil Mera actor lashed out. “Maybe she [Meera] can’t speak well in English but is that a crime? How well do you know this language? Are you ready for an open challenge? I bet you aren’t!” She concluded by asking her followers to “stop being so shallow please!”
